Mike S.
Business Owner
Mike began studying drums at the age of 8 with Charlie Perry. Through the years he studied with various musicians, including: David Garibaldi, Michael Carvin, Saul Goodman, Roland Kohloff, Buster Bailey and Morris Lang. Mike has a bachelor of music degree from The Julliard School. He studied every percussion genre from rock to jazz to classical and world music. Mike’s extensive career includes studio work and performance with Forever Dusty The Musical, Todd Rundgren, John Hall, Robbie Dupree, Rick Danko, Genya Ravan, Marcellus Hall, Dakota Staton, Evidence, Wynton Marsalis, Pierre Boulez, Zubin Mehta and Leonard Bernstein. He is currently busy gigging, teaching, doing internet drum tracks and finishing his second drum set method book.
