My experience at this location has been fast and decent. I went there for a key lock. The sales guy was helpful in pointing me to the direction that had locks. I would’ve preferred a walk over but hey, he wasn’t rude in his delivery. Got the the register and the cashier checked me out. She’s wasn’t super friendly. Overall it was very neutral

A friend of mine really wants Timberlands but refuses to overpay for them. Modell’s is charging $ 20 less than Zappos and the mall sneaker stores for the classic/basic Timberland style. So we went on a fruitless quest to find it in his size at all the local Modell’s locations. I give the Junction location only 2 stars because the service sucks so bad. We were ignored for so long in the shoe department that a security person noticed and directed a salesperson to help us immediately.

Swung by the get a pair of running shoes and was immediately welcomed by a sales rep… and not the«hungry for commission» welcome I’m accustomed to either. It was refreshing that he was so laid back yet helpful. I got to the register and that’s when it went downhill. The box contained two sides of the same shoe, in the wrong size, and I was charged the regular price despite the BIGRED price tag that we 15 bucks cheaper. Apparently the sale rep who helped me was, «a lil sleepy» at 11am, the cashier who rang me up was, «nervous around the manager», and the manager who oversaw the entire transaction was, «new to the scene»…their words exactly. So after 35minutes of correcting the shoe, price, and getting the size I actually ordered I finally left the store without at least an apology for wasting my time. This is why I shop online… smh

This Modell’s is a brand new store right in the middle of the madness that is Flatbush & Nostrand Avenues and has proved to be a great addition to the neighborhood! The store is split between two levels Level #1 = shoes, a few displays of clothing and a couple cash registers. and #2 = the rest of the clothing, sports equipment and another few cash registers. Seeing as how I was shopping specifically for sneakers I loved having the separate floors. I picked up a pair of Nikes(on sale!), signed up for a new Modell’s reward card and was on my way home in less than 15 minutes. Excellent service and so much more convenient than trucking it all the way downtown or over to Kings Plaza.
