My brother and I happened on Mr. Lucky Barber Shop wandering around the neighborhood and don’t go anywhere else since. The staff are fantastic, the service professional and quick, and the haircuts inexpensive. I look great every time I come out.

Mark at Mr. Lucky’s is the best. I hate to be in the chair for a long time. I just want to get a hair cut and go. He is a perfectionist in getting every hair even. I bring in a picture of the length and style I want. He doesn’t mind when we discuss my cut. My hair cut has always been the way I want it. He is a true professional.
The shop is clean and new. They were in business for years on third avenue. It’s a great location on Lexington. It is easy to walk past if you don’t look for the sign.
The price is within my budget. He gives Seniors a discount. He’s very good with children. They have TV and comfortable seating while you wait. They do not take appointments. I get there before 9 so I’m the first one in!
If you move to the Upper East Side, and need a barber, go see Mark! You won’t be disappointed.

Mr. Lucky Barber shop is the best spot for a haircut in the entire Carnegie Hill area. Mark, the owner, is an excellent barber and a great guy. His new location on Lexington between 94 &93rd Street is very nice. Definitely give Mr. Lucky a try. The prices are reasonable.

I have been coming to this place for a haircut regularly for almost a year and Mark always does a great job. He knows how to cut around the ‘bold spots’, unlike other places that I have tried. It’s a pity that I have to move. It’s hard to find a good hair salon. Will most likely have to travel just to get a haircut.
