Murray Hill Radiology & Mammography

I found physicians and staff to be both competent and compassionate. The treatment is individualized and a stressful procedure was was handled with sensitivity and efficiency.

Dr. Mitnick and her staff of female physicians provide a nurturing and professional environment. I have had several suspicious lumps that have been biopsied over the years. Dr. Mitnick could not be more supportive or reassuring. She is the utmost professional as well as an empathetic person. I feel that I can trust her implicitly. That is the most important factor when selecting a physician. If you have to wait, its because you are not the only one who requires her time and attention. Do not look any further… You have found the right doctor.

I filed a formal grievance with Murray Hill Radiology, copy to Medicare, concerning payment of fees; threatening action via a collection agency, and the denial of services.
The account receivable administrator stated that my wife could no longer obtain services from this clinic because of a dispute over billing, which they would send it to a collection agency, an amount less than $ 50.00 of invoices totaling more than $ 1,700.00
We have been receiving services from Murray Hill Radiology for more than ten years with no problem. A few years ago, they told us that our provider, Julie S. Mitnick would no longer accept Medicare payment and they transferred my wife to Orna Hadar. They told us she would accept the Medicare rate.
At our last visit, they gave us two invoices, one correctly reflecting the Medicare charges, the other required upfront payment of more than a $ 1,000.00 before they would see my wife. She had no choice at the time in accepting these conditions as they were doing a biopsy on a suspected malignant growth. We subsequently requested a corrected invoice. This has resulted in a dispute with the billing department of Murray Hill Radiology, which we are unable to resolve. I would not recommend this clinic under any circumstances.

I was a patient with the same doctor at Murray Hill Radiology for nearly 20 years. When I returned for my annual mammogram, my doctor called me in to see her with the results. Before I could even sit down she said,“You have cancer. What have you been eating?!” She spoke to me with such disgust I was speechless. There had been no biopsy yet.
The biopsy was negative. I changed doctors and Radiology centers immediately. It has been 2 years and I am still cancer free.
I cannot recommend all of the physicians who practice here. Interview personally any doctor you consider being your doctor. Burn out is something to look out for. This woman’s behavior was cruel and outrageous and created suffering and panic where none was necessary.

At the time of my first appointment, I was 24 and had found a lump in my breast. Having a mother who had experienced breast cancer twice in 11 years, I was not about to take this lightly. I went to my gynecologist who recommended an emergency mammogram and ultrasound. After completing these tests, he radiologist in NJ recommended I have the lump biopsied immediately.
Cue, Murray Hill Radiology. I made a phone call, explained my situation, and my referral, and they were able to see me that afternoon. I went it, they reviewed my films, agreed with the diagnosis of the radiologist in NJ and arranged to have the lump biopsied that afternoon.
Cancer is definitely something you don’t want to play around with, and both the staff and the physicians here made me feel as comfortable as a 24-​year-​old with a lump in her breast and a serious history, can possibly feel.
Turns out, everything was negative, but Dr. Zalasin was really wonderful to me. She walked me through everything that she was going to do before she did it so there were no surprises. I’ve now had one follow-​up ultrasound, with my next one next month. I’ve always had wonderful experiences, and would definitely recommend this practice to anyone needing any type of ultrasound/​mammography.
