This is my go-to breakfast/lunch spot on days I am feeling like I should gain another few pounds. Their bagels are always fresh, their service is always quick, their lunch specials are great and their burger deluxe is mouth watering(especially for the price). The only downside is their B rating.

The employees here are friendly, but the food is mediocre. It works for a quick lunch time break but if the food wasn’t so cheap, I would not go back. Would only recommend if you’re in a hurry.

I haven’t eaten here. I get iced coffee. They have really good hazelnut ice coffee. I am sure the other flavors are just as good. Smalls are one $ 2.25, and it is the cheapest good coffee you are ever going to get in Manhattan.

Ordered beef teriyaki online for pickup. The order wasn’t ready when I arrived, which was not a big deal. However, they mixed up my order and I got chicken instead. As I was debating between the two, it wasn’t a big deal and the cashier was apologetic. Like I said though, A-Okay. Unfortunately, the food was not okay. It was edible, yes, but it was a circular tin with one whole half of white rice, the other half was mixed vegetables, and I got six measly little pieces of chicken, which was overcooked to the point of being leather. I’d requested no broccoli(as the veg includes onions, mushrooms, and broccoli), so I somehow wound up with carrots, peppers, and onions. Which was odd. The sauce was also really watery, not the nice, thick sauce I’ve come to love. Disappointed, but because the place looked quite clean, I’ll probably give it another go and get the quesadilla as others have recommended.

Very good food. Quick delivery too. Pancakes were excellent. Ordered on a Saturday morning and was there within 30 minutes as stated. My friend got a bacon, egg, cheese sandwich which he said was good too. Overall a delicious way to start my day.

I’ve gotten lots of food here because my work is like two doors down. Very friendly people. You go up, order what you want and tell them how to make it, and they whip it out in like two minutes. My favorite thing here is the quesadilla and some days they’ll do a deal where you can get a free lemonade with the purchase of a quesadilla which is pretty sweet. Minus one star because I’m pretty sure I’ve eaten brown lettuce a few times and that’s never any fun. Still would recommend if you’re in the area and need a quick lunch place.

I work not more than 100 feet from Mustang Café, and to be perfectly honest there is not that much to choose from in this area. Mustang Café is quick, clean, and tasty which is all I can ask for on most work days. I strongly recommend the quesadillas and the salads, both of which are always fresh and ready in less than a couple minutes. They have a good selection of snacks and drinks, and I have never had a bad experience here. This is a great consistent restaurant that never disappoints, but it is nothing special or extraordinary. It’s good food, it’s quick, and it’s consistent but it’s not winning any Michelin stars…

i order from here at least 4 times a week, sometimes twice in a day. they’re quick, reliable, and tasty. the breakfast is a deal, the create your own salad is the most bang for your buck in midtown, and if you’re feeling adventurous i suggest the turkey bacon guacamole panini!

I am so disappointed I love Mustangs they have the best coffee and breakfast but lately everytime I purchase fruit its rotten in the inside :(a few weeks ago I brought an apple and when I bit into it the whole inside was brown and decayed. This morning I purchased a banana and when I peeled it my co worker and I looked at it in disgust cause it was rotten all the way thru? How long are these fruits displayed for? I wont be purchasing fruit anymore from here.

Huge salads with tons of add-ins — salad doesn’t arrive in a pool of dressing. Great wraps. Quick delivery & they’re good about customer service — if there’s a problem it get’s fixed. Once they sent me a salad with a couple of ingredients missing, told me to keep the one I had and sent an entirely new salad. Good spot for quick lunch!

Unlimited toppings in your salad = instant local chopped salad champion. I go here almost every day for lunch and the staff is lovely. Make sure to ask for your salad chopped before you add dressing though!

Ordered a salad due to all of the positive reviews. Mine was horrible, a big soggy pile of slop with absolutely no chicken. Chicken tenders were burnt and hard. Will never buy food from here again.

I work relatively close to this café. My coworkers love the food, quality, prices and taste and always highly recommend trying here. I have gotten one of their wrap special — where you get a pre-made wrap, a bag of chips, a pickle, and a lemonade for a little under $ 9. The wrap was tasty but I didn’t like that I got a bunch of squishy meat. I think it was just the wrap I got but I couldn’t get past throwing away more than half of a wrap because it was inedible. I might, however, try some of their other freshly made deli fare instead.

I ordered lunch from Mustang Café through EAT24 and I have to say it was a home run! The portions are generous and who in Midtown can beat UNLIMITED toppings! I ordered a large salad with a bunch of toppings, the salad was really fresh and they didn’t over do it with the dressing. The delivery was extremely fast less than 30 mins(then again i’m about 5 blocks from them). I also ordered a Jello also great, not too sweet. All in all I would definitely recommend this spot, great food, great price!

If you’re looking for a killer salad, go to Mustang! This is one of the better places to get a salad in NYC because who can beat unlimited toppings on a large salad for $ 8.66 including tax. They are generous with the portion sizes and I have never had a problem with bad service. They also keep ripe bananas instead of throwing them out, and that’s my favorite way to eat them.

I work two stores down from this delicious food spot. After coming here once for breakfast I’ve been frequenting this place at least twice a week for either breakfast or lunch for the past year. The staff are friendly and service is great. They take orders quickly and prep the food fresh before your eyes. The chicken soft tacos are well seasoned served with rice and lettuce. They also pack a side of guacamole, salsa, and sour cream. I usually come for the breakfast, which for me consists of an egg white omelette with veggies and a side of home fries. Whole wheat toast is also served on the side. It’s affordable considering how this is in the city. Never thought I’d find a place like this!

I love Unilocal.I just always find what I need here. So– in NYC and the hotel I am staying at does not have room service. I find that annoying but at least in NYC you never have to worry about delivery. The hotel provided a list of delivery spots and yet for breakfast specifically I didn’t see enough choices. I put in breakfast by my hotel address and this came up. I ordered an egg white omelette — plus large oatmeal and cappucinno. It was delivered pretty fast– about ½ hour if I am correct and it was awesome. The oatmeal was a big size, the omelette was great and the cappuccino– well, it’s not sbux but come on, it’s delivery. It did the job. I’lll likely order from them all week. Next time I will go with the small size oatmeal as this one was too much. Highly recommend them.

Solid breakfast, cross between deli and dinner. Looks like great place for lunch but grabbed quick breakfast. Hubby had French toast and I had bacon, egg, cheese sandwich.

to be completely honest, when trying to get cheap lunch around where i work(like 20 feet from mustang), i expect disappointment. that’s how i approached mustang today. i was surprised to find that the food is actually pretty damn good, and of a decent size for midtown. got the steak burrito and i think the steak was actually properly slow cooked, it’s delicious.

My boyfriend and I ordered breakfast from Mustang on Seamless this weekend. We had to wait 80+ minutes for our breakfast to arrive when Seamless said it could take between 45 – 60 minutes. When it had been an hour and we still had no food, I called and they said they were waiting for their delivery guy to arrive. At this point they also told me they didn’t have the caramel sauce to make my caramel latte. Why is this an option on Seamless if they don’t have it? I settled for the Mocha. About 20 minutes after I called, our food arrived. I feel that they made the food and sent the guy after I had called because the food surprisingly arrived nice and hot. I got the breakfast sandwich and my boyfriend got the Mustang Special wrap. I would say the food was 4 stars but because it took an hour and half to eat, it got 3 stars.
