Color printing looks horrible. White came in yellow, grey came in blue. Even worse, they suddenly raised the price when I was about to pay, although they saw my design in the beginning and gave me an estimate. That happened to me twice. Plus, NYU student discount never works. I never would go again, and never recommend here to all of my friends.

Great place, the manager is really knowledgeable and will give you discounts. The workers, not so much. They tend to get confused a lot. I had to print 50 copies of a 20-sheet document in B/W. The normal price would have been around $ 140 but he knocked it down to $ 100. There was also a policeman in there making copies and he just did that job for free. Make sure you show your student ID.

I came in to make 1 photocopy at 8:30 pm on Friday and I walked in a cloud of smoke. Errr… Is it ok to smoke in public establishments in NYC? o_O Either way, this was a quick $ 0.10 copy trip and the gentleman at the counter did his job just fine.

Bonus points for 1) assuming that I was an NYU student* and 2) offering me a generous discount on my international FedEx shipments.** Though not the most efficient or helpful combination printshop/shipping center employees I’ve ever encountered, they got the job done and my FedExed boxes arrived promptly on the other side of the Atlantic ocean just two days later. I don’t envy any of the –actual– students who have to pick up syllabi and/or course readers here. – * Hey, flattery will get you everywhere. ** Sadly, one of my boxes didn’t make it in one piece and some of the contents were lost… including my beloved OXO stainless steel 2oz. measuring cup –a gift from the boy [ . Sadness. Good thing he loves me enough to buy me more!
