My absolute favorite in the city. You can get fresh honey roasted nuts at this cart at great prices. I wish that I could bundle up many more bags and just have them at my disposable.

Two Words: I’m Nuts I’m nuts because I paid 4 dollars for a few nuts. They are quite skimpy in their portion sizes. I definitely got ripped off. If I had a child, and my child asked me to buy them this, then they would start crying once they saw the portions. Less than handful of nuts for 4 bucks. Holy crap, I am still laughing at the poor portions. I might as well go to a liquor store and buy some honey roasted almonds. I would get more and probably just as tasty.

Overall a not bad treat but somehow too sweet and sometimes not so fresh. As a street food it’s nice. I like coconuts the best!

Came to this cart on a recommendation from family. I went back to cali with 15 bags of this stuff for home. Has to be some of the best roasted nuts you can find. However, the coconut is to die for. I wish I brought more of that to eat. Definitely a great place to stop for a snack.

MMm, nothing beats the titillating aroma of some good ol’ New York Hot Street Nuts™ When I visit back home, people don’t seem to understand my affinity for this stuff. Granted, I usually exercise extreme willpower and resist, but on the rare occasion I give in to temptation, it’s always worth it. Sweet, sticky, and kind of a hot mess, what’s not to love? PROTIP: Just get a big ol’ mixture of nut types — it’s more fun when you’re not sure what’s gonna land in your mouth(bazinga!)

After a day of relentless running around the wholesale fashion shops on Broadway and sightseeing while hopping off and on the 1&2, a girl needs to refuel! What’s that lovely smell wafting through the air? It can’t really be funnel cake in the middle of the city… can it? It smells so sweet. It must be funnel cake. Starving… funnel cake, but no cake shop in sight… sigh. Excuse me, Mr. Brother Man, I really have to brush past you & your crew with your posters, signs, & megaphones yelling about«the man», cause I’m really hungry and I have to find the source of this sweet, sweet scent. I just know… I just … wait a minute. This cart in the middle of the pavement smells good. Not a person in line. Hmmm… nuts. That’ll do, but… wait… okay. Now I know. Toasted coconut. That’s it! That is where my olfactory trail was leading… I mean, it’s ingenious! Who would’ve guessed? Freakin’ nuts & coconut. The best combination… ever! I love being able to act like a country girl in the big city. This was the gastronomical highlight of my trip! Seriously, can we get these in D.C.

I have enjoyed these nuts for decades but this year I had a terrible experience with three separate vendors. All three tried to give me the wrong change by pretending that they didn’t understand me. All three times, the vendors tried to rip me off, one of them was so aggressive that I had to threaten to get a police officer and then suddenly he understood English very well. Some of the vendors have stale nuts so pick wisely and watch your change. Dont give any of them any bills larger than a $ 5.00

Simple concept, can’t give much of a full review as the different places have different qualities/prices,.gets to 3 bucks but can be as low as 2. Coconut is usually good but soggy in some places, almonds are usually good regardless, cashews are usually good. Mix bag is well a mix. I’ll give it a 3.4, there have been too many bad nuts.

Empire State Building… yeah. Central Park… I see you. Nuts 4 Nuts… NOWWE’REINNYC, PEOPLE. Every time we visit this amazing metropolis, gotta go to Nuts 4 Nuts’ carts and get their fantastic toasted coconut chunks. Nothing like walking around the city with a fresh hot bag of heartwarming goodness. Nobody does it better. I see the N4N cart and scream out, «NUTS4NUTS!!!» before diving right in!

Nuts 4 Nuts, we used to be such good friends. I visited you each of my trips to NYC, but after this last trip, you will no longer be on my list of go-to places. All I wanted was to pop you in my mouth while you were warm and crispy but instead I left with a cold, soggy, bag of mixed nuts and coconuts that were less than desirable. I’m not saying it’s over for us, but I will definitely proceed with caution the next time I see you on the street.

On a brisk Friday night, I was headed to Central Park for a little iceskating. I passed the Nuts 4 Nuts cart at Central Park S and Center Drive, and they just smelled so good! I had passed carts all day, and over heard people ordering the cashews. This cart offered one bag for $ 3, but when I handed the guy a $ 5 dollar bill, he said, «2 for $ 5» and I was in! Both the almonds and cashews were delicious! Try to bargain with them if you want a few bags of delicious nuts!

On a recent trip to NYC my friend and I decided to give these a try as the sweet smell emanating from the street cart was too good to resist. We had seen them throughout the city but finally caved in while shopping in Soho. Let me say I am so glad we did. My friend got the cashews and I got the almonds(you know attempting to be «healthy»). They were nice and warm which was perfect as it was a little cool out. I tried one of my friend’s and let me say as someone who normally doesn’t care for cashews they really weren’t bad. I loved the almonds though and actually had to try and not finish the whole bag in one sitting. I wish I would’ve gotten more to bring back but I guess that will just be something to look forward to on my next visit to NYC

Addicting. Gratifying. Must-Have. Cheap. For these sugar-coated hot nuts, I really am Nuts for Nuts! Prices vary, depending on location, but the regular peanuts range from $ 1.50 to $ 2.50 per bag. I usually get the peanuts or cashews. Cashews tend to be $ 1 more than the peanuts. I love that these Nuts 4 Nuts carts are all over the city. I can get my fix almost anywhere. On some occasions, I buy more than 1 bag. They have deals if you buy in bulk. Trust me, you’ll kill the bag quickly! The most clutch location is in SoHo near the Best Buy. The guy scoops them fresh each time AND he fills it up to the top so you can’t even close the bag. Other vendors have pre-scooped bags. Good enough but not the best. Most recently, I brought 3 bags back home w/me. I purposefully set the bags aside so I wouldn’t eat them on the plane but they were gone almost immediately when we got home. Luckily, my cousin from NYC was visiting the week after. She brought me 6 bags. =D SF is missing out on a big market — NUTS4NUTS and HALALCARTS!

Hot sugary coated peanuts! Yum! Carts all arond the city. Cheap little snack. Usually a stand right outside 86th street subway cart on UES. Always there, always reliable. Hard, warm, crunchy goodness. The smell is intoxicating and lure you to them. I actually miss these carts when away on business. Also cashews, almonds, and coconut, but I always come back to the old standby — peanut. Just simple goodness.

«Aint NUT-in but a G– thing. baaaby!» – G– Great thing that is… whoooooooo! These nuts are so good, you won’t want to share it with anyone. That good. Nuts 4 Nuts carts were on almost every corner in Manhattan. The smell of the sweet, semi toasted nuts in the air were hard to resist not buying everytime I walked by one. My boyfriend had to refrain me from digging in my pockets for an extra 2 bucks! ha! I’m a cashew fan. It has more a fresh taste to it. The combo bag is just peanuts with 1 or 2 cashews and almonds. + It’s a thoughtful and affordable gift to bring back to your Houston friends/family. I bought two bags before I made my way back to the airport. I was so tempted to eat some on the plane!!! $ 2 cashew, almond, peanuts $ 3 combo 2/$ 5

I love the Nuts for Nuts street carts! The concept is so simple, offer several types of freshly made warm candy coated nuts in a bag. I’d love to know more about them? Where do they come from? Do these guys buy or lease these carts? Do they get training from somewhere, first? Where do they get their nuts? What do they do with their carts when they’re done for the day? Even with all these questions unanswered you’re sure to get the same tasting product at any of the 100s of carts for approximately the same price(the peanuts being the cheapest, currently about $ 1.50-$ 2 per bag depending on your location). They are also one of the few types of carts that do you the service of posting their prices so they can’t charge you one thing and a tourist another which I can appreciate. The smell is fantastic(and does a great job traveling over long distances) and the taste is just as good. If you’ve ever been walking the streets of Manhattan and just needed a little pick-me-up but wanted something more nutritious than a pretzel or some other baked good then you know that a bag of these warm candy coated nuts can really hit the spot.

HONEYROASTEDNUTS!!! The«honey» part already caught my eye, and they had to throw in the«roasted» too… SOLD! 3 different types of nuts, $ 2/bag or 3 bags for $ 5. Warning: «bags» are tiny… about 3.5 inches in height These were legit. Roasted just right — crunchy but not too hard. Honey = sweet tooth heaven. We found the cart in times square next to Reebok store

Oh I can smell you and your nutty cart from 10 blocks away. I follow your scent and when we meet its such a beautiful thing. I hand over my dollar in exchange for your roasted peanuty goodness. What can you get for a dollar these days anyway? Not much thats for sure. Hint* sometimes if you catch them before they shut down for the night(9ish for most) they usually give you a good deal. I got 5 packs for $ 2 last time from the guy on Broadway downtown. That satisfied my roasty nut fix for a few days. In short– I love your nuts. Put them in my mouth.
