One Stop Framing Shop

I had three pieces I wanted framed. If you have any pieces you want framed, i suggest you don’t take them to One Stop Framing. I’m not sure who in the store tried to assist me but he failed miserably. He clearly wasn’t interested in helping me pick out a suitable frame. He seemed annoyed when I didn’t agree with his choice of a shiny new frame for an antique print I had. This guy doesn’t get it and he doesn’t care to.

I came in here to get a couple things framed.- my daughter’s school/​class photo and a picture I had blown up. I was extremely impressed by the level of professionalism, courtesy, and helpfulness. I did not expect to be given so much attention, especially in discussing options. Shmuel did not try to sell me anything that was beyond my budget and actually gave me a great price. He did not insist on his own style/​preferences either, even though he has amazing artistic tastes. I should mention that I have been to a few other local frame shops/​galleries and the three other places charged more than double for a similar job. The work was done within the promised time, and it looked stunning once completed. I look forward to coming back here, for another framing job. Beautiful job at reasonable prices. Thank you so much!

I can’t say enough about this place. Let me start by saying that the owner is a fantastic guy. He’s friendly and straightforward. I had four paintings of enormous personal value, and he showed immense concern for how the work would be done to bring out the best in each one. There were some pretty significant challenges because each canvas had been cut down to accommodate travel, but the work was meticulous and results were stunning. They look amazing in my new apartment!
As for service, I was impressed from start to finish. The owner is honest and easy to talk to. He called me as soon as the paintings were ready for pick up, on the day specified. They wrapped up the canvases for transport and even attached little handles so I wouldn’t scratch the acrylic by holding them too tightly.
Finally, he gave me a really fair quote, especially considering the quality of his work. I will be going back!

I was looking for an affordable framing store in Manhattan, so, after visiting different stores, we’re the prices were exorbitant, I found this store and finally Mr Shah gave me a good price and the final result was beautiful. My painting looks amazing and the costumer service is superb. I highly recommend One stop framing for all your framing needs.

This is not the right place to come if you need quick framing. My job was admittedly pretty small, but they were only able to give me one option for a frame (plain black) and were going to charge $ 80 for a 7×10 picture to be done in 3 days. When I asked them if they could just cut the mat to a standard size for me so I could purchase a ready-​made frame, they basically said it wasn’t worth their time given how much other work they had to do. I wish I hadn’t bothered to walk there in the rain!

I’ve been going to this place for years now, and the prices have always beat anywhere else I’ve found in the city, and the people working there are very friendly. I’ve recommended them to friends and will continue to go there!

I went here to have two framing jobs completed over the last couple of weeks. The first one was a rush job that they accommodated me for without extra charge!
Their prices were also quite reasonable. Shah, the owner, was both pleasant and professional. I explained to him that I had gotten a quote from an upper west side frame shop that exceeded $ 370. Shah had a comparable frame on hand and was able to do the entire job on time and for less than half what the UWS shop was asking!
Very satisfied with their service and would highly recommend.

I had a last minute, super rush framing job. I’m a procrastinator + and artist, a deadly combination.
2 days before my art was to be installed at a client’s house, I decided I wanted to frame my canvases. I emailed a bunch of framing shops in Manhattan + Brooklyn with a crappy description and a low res photo of another frame I found online — to see if anyone would even accept the job. One stop framing were the 1^st to respond, and in the end gave me the best estimate for my job too.
I needed 3 canvases framed with floater frames. They had the size frame I needed in stock, in the right color, and were willing to do it in 24 hours.
One of these 3 canvases was extremely delicate. I was nervous handing it over, to say the least. I was terrified that 6 months of work could be damaged, but I shouldn’t have been!
When I came in to pick up my pieces, I was delighted. First of all — all three were beautifully wrapped up. Shah, who I think is the owner, unwrapped each one carefully, and showed me the finished product. He then had the two other guys working there install the hardware. He kept saying «careful, careful this is an original». My tricky piece needed a different set of hardware installed, and Shah reassured me it was no trouble at all. All three guys worked with precision, right before my eyes. The backs of my canvases were trimmed after the hardware was installed. My tricky piece had cutouts and I was thinking of attaching another piece inside. Shah already started measuring out the area, and grabbing extra tools to properly attach this last minute addition. I was blown away by how much he cared. I literally showed up 5 minutes before the shop was closing, but my final art pieces were more important to him than getting out the door in time. For an artist, with an original piece of work — what more could I possibly have asked for?
He then waited for me to call an Über, and carried all 3 canvases out into the car. I felt like I had a friend on my side. And to think how nervous I was dropping off my canvases just 24 hours before!
In the end, my art looks 100% more polished thanks to the amazing frames, and I know I’ll be coming back to one stop framing for all my future framing needs!

I had an extremely positive experience at One Stop Framing Shop — wonderful service, fair prices, and a genuinely nice, helpful, honest owner/​staff. I wanted to frame an old magazine cover for a birthday gift, and Shah set me up with beautiful matting and frame that will preserve the old magazine and display it nicely on the wall. The framing came out perfectly, fast service and they were so pleasant to work with. The best place for framing in NYC, and very convenient location right at Penn Station.

Between my husbands and mine doctorate diplomas, multiple licenses and avid passion for collecting art, we had multiple pieces framed here. Everything turned out ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC ! Our wall of diplomas looks amazing. Most importantly our art looks beyond incredible !

Was looking for a custom frame to hold a custom art project. Went online to look for a shadow box frame but decided to call One Stop Framing Shop to see if I could get it faster. Thank God, I did. Mr. Shah asked what frame was for & said it was best to come in and show him my project. In this fast-​paced, automated online world, it was refreshing to be asked questions. I went in & Mr. Shah recommended a more suitable frame & even had it completed SAME DAY! And it was beautiful! I highly recommend One Stop Framing Shop, Mr. Shah & his staff. They were helpful, knowledgeable, & very quick!

This place is shockingly wonderful. I put off getting something framed for like a year because I thought it was going to be outrageously priced, but then I found this place. The workers are fantastic. They will quote you on anything over the phone, and they stick to it. Their prices are great (like you can get a magazine framed for as low as 27 dollars) and they don’t try to get you to upgrade to expensive stuff. I can’t recommend it enough.

Definitely recommend! The shop is conveniently located in Midtown and services were faster than I expected. I brought in a print on Thursday to apply matting, glass and frame treatment. Even with the MLK Holiday weekend, the job was done and my newly framed print was ready for pickup on Monday — MLK Day!
This is the first time I’ve gotten something framed on my own and I didn’t realize how pricey it would be; but it seems like One Stop is a less expensive option in the industry! Helpful and friendly service, definitely not pushy. Happy to have my beautiful print up on the wall.

This is a wonderful framing shop. We bought 5 high quality frames (without glass or backing, matting) from a friend and needed professional help to frame our wedding photos. The store was incredibly helpful since we were clueless on how to match the 5 diff pictures with matting and frames. Shah has a great eye in pairing the pictures with the right matting and frame to really bring out the pictures. He took time to individually test the combination of each photo with different mattings so we can visualize the final product. Example, he would recommend a winter green color, which looked much better than our boring suggestions of offwhite or black. You can tell Shah enjoys the process and he wants you to LOVE the picture, not just be «okay» with it. Price wise — They listened to our concerns for budget and never pushed «higher prices matting on us». He started us with the basic matting first, then because we disliked the look we asked for more expensive texture matting. The higher quality matting cost more (But ABSOLUTELY worth it depending on your picture frames). Example, we got this jet black suede matting to bring out a black and white photo. Final product looked incredible when compared to the boring paper black matting. Also they were speedy, we needed the frames before the NYE party and they completed our frames quickly without compromising quality.
The prices were definitely fair esp since we had very large frames (43X30 inches), 3 large frames (30 X24) and it required more materials. Plus the prices depend on if you choose expensive matting or glass (museum vs regular). More importantly, they took a lot of care with the frames and our photos. We were extremely pleased and he made our wedding photos look even better. We loved the service and went back afterward to get a few more wedding photos framed for families.
Also, he gave us a recommendation on a professional that will hang up our heavy frames (Gill from A&G Artwork and Mirrors installation). He was great too, professional, good price, and hung all our pictures, gave great recommendations!
We definitely will go to him for any future framing projects.

This is an amazing framer. I bought a pre made frame online thinking I could save money, but when I got the frame it was a mess! The frame was part of a gift for my husband, so I needed to find a framer fast to help. Thankfully, my search took me to One Stop. Not only did they fix my frame, but they did it for FREE. I’ve been living in NYC for 20 plus years and never experienced this kindness from a store owner. I will return again and again and will make sure everyone I know, knows what an amazing job they do. THANK YOU ONE STOP FRAMING SHOP! My husband loved the picture, you did an amazing job!

Shah or Mohammed will help you with your framing needs. They don’t try to up sell you things you don’t need but certainly have the most expensive framing options if you want them (museum quality glass, etc). They are always pleasant and helpful and I have had 3 pieces framed by them without any issues. You do have to call to make sure your piece is ready (they sometimes forget to call you) but otherwise they are excellent.

Highly recommend this framing shop. Easy and fast service (only took less than 48 hours for 2 pieces). Price was reasonable and the quality of work is top of the line.

This place is awesome i came in almost a week before Christmas and they were able to frame 2 items for me by Dec 23. I have been to other frame shops and have been charged ALOT. They were honest and gave suggestions that were moderately priced that would complement my painting and print. They also were nice enough to wait for me if i was running late after closing time. This will definitely be my go to place.

«I have a guy for that.» is what I would say about the trusty mechanic or plumber you’ve known and used forever because you know he/​she does a great job and have confidence in him/​her. Shah is our framing guy.
This framing shop is fantastic! Mr. Shah has a great sense of style, and goes out of his way to satisfy his customers. My wife and I have been customers of his for 3 years, and he has done a number of custom jobs for us. There was never a job too big or small! The end result is top of the line professional work for bargain prices.
When I came to Unilocal to lookup his phone number again I saw that he only has 2 reviews here. As a longtime Unilocaler this is my first review, I felt he really deserves recognition for the great work he and his staff do. I believe citysearch has more reviews. I cannot recommend this store more highly.
