Perfect Glow

Perfect Glow, formerly Saloon Success (no, that’s not a typo), is my favorite threading salon in NYC. Period. I have tried over a dozen salons from Delancey Street to Times Square and Perfect Glow remains a step above. Many threaders have told me that it’s impossible to sculpt a defined arch given that my eyebrows are a little patchy and all of the hairs don’t grow in the same direction. I know this isn’t true because others have been able to do it without the rigmarole. Jeet at Perfect Glow is one of those people. Most times I’ve entered Perfect Glow looking more wildebeest than anything and regardless of the state of my brows (and sometimes a 13-​year-​old boy’s ‘stache), I have emerged looking primer ready.
Service here is quick and pleasant. They also do hair and henna. Perfect Glow is somehow hidden in plain sight because it is a little downward set from street level. But don’t overlook this little gem; check it out next time you’re walking down 14^th street.
