I went here based on a recommendation of work colleagues. My issue with them is there lack of knowledge regarding their processes. I needed to understand my blood type on a fairly tight time-​line. I made this clear before making my appointment, the person on the phone claimed to have verified that the results would be available immediately. I go to the appointment the next day and the nurse practitioner (mind you I made an appointment to have my physical completed by a doctor) tells me no sorry it’s not a same day thing but it will be available in 24 hours. At this point I am told I need an abundance of blood work, a metabolic test, an x ray, and a physical therapy evaluation (I’m thinking this is a bit excessive being as I am fairly healthy and exercise regularly, besides the point…). They said come in tomorrow morning and we will take all of the blood work. I have the blood work done before my metabolic test, which is a physical test, they then tell me they withdrew a lot of blood so go downstairs and get some orange juice to get your levels back to normal (5 minutes before the metabolic exam). I then take the metabolic test, which gives me abnormal results (obviously because I just took in an excessive amount of sugar before hand) the person giving the exam even said I should not have ate before this. Now I am annoyed because I have paid for an exam that has been administered incorrectly. The next day I come back for the x rays, more than 24 hours have gone by so I ask for my blood type. The receptionist tells me sorry that takes a week, I reply sorry but I asked your nurse practitioner and blood work technician (not sure what they are called) and they both confirmed it takes 24 hours. Her reply, «oh let me go check». Waiting… Waiting… 10 minutes later, «Oh she is reaching out to the lab and she will get back to you today, if you don’t here back from us today call tomorrow». I call back the next day, ask for my blood type, the person on the phone «sorry it takes a week». I ask to speak to the office manager at this point, of which I am told they are not in today, ha of course. I ask can I speak to who is in charge today, get put on hold. The person comes back on the phone, «that person is busy right now, can they call you back». Honestly at this point I am annoyed so I say no, finally I ask when are they going to call me back, to which she replies «sometime today». I ask for a specific time, her reply «I don’t know, sometime today». At which point I ask her to ask what time. Realizing this is just going no where I say okay. I can’t speak for any of the doctors at this location because after being here 3 times in 3 days I haven’t met one but the staff is unorganized, but nice, but still unorganized… I still don’t have my blood type, I needed it yesterday, maybe I should have just gone to donate blood and gotten it there.

I can’t say enough good things about Performance Health. The doctors there are truly life changing. I work specifically with Naomi for Massage Therapy and Ade for physical therapy. Working with the two have them has helped erase pain that I have felt for years. They have such positive, upbeat attitudes and make going to sessions a pleasure rather than a hinderance.
If you are even on the fence about going, please put all doubts aside and give them a try. I cannot believe how much they have helped me and continue to help me.

My mother in law went in for an ailing knee condition… and the doctors at PH put together a treatment plan that really altered her entire life. Shes able to play with her granddaughter which she wasnt able to do before. Not to mention she can finally climb stairs normally. She was unable to climb them at all before. Thank you for giving her her life back. My daughter has an amazing relationship with her Grandmother and it wouldn’t be possible without you.

the first time I went there, they reviewed my insurance and said I will not have any out of pocket expense and today I received a 1000+ bill from them!!!

Deeply disappointed. Met a rep at a health fair at work, who told me that they take our insurance. I gave him my insurance information, which he verified. I was told that I would have no out-​of-​pocket costs so I set up an appointment.
When I got to the office, I filled out a stack of papers and was eventually ushered to the exam room, where a young woman took my blood pressure, weighed me, asked me about my concerns and said that a doctor would be right in. Instead, someone from the front office came in, and told me that there had been a mistake, that my insurance only pays as much as Medicare, so they wouldn’t be accepting it after all. I asked how much it would be and wasn’t given a straight answer, but the implication seemed to be «a lot.» In an incredibly awkward moment, I realized that that was my cue to leave, and I just got up off the exam table and left.
This pointless appointment took 45 minutes. I’m baffled as to why the rep would show up at a firm whose insurance apparently doesn’t pay enough for them and I was so frustrated to not be able to speak with a doctor after all of this. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

Again big props for Dr B for adjustments — he’s such a caring and warm person. He actually listens to his patients. If you are uneasy about having your neck adjusted — he will respect your decision. Dr B is a healer!
I like the Heron location the best but I’m already warming up to Launch on E 56^th.
The new massage therapist Naomi is really amazing at trying to get my shoulder mobility back to normal range. It hurts a lot but she explains things we are trying to accomplish and that helps a lot.
As always Nora, Veronica and Julian are just amazing at trying to work out the rocks that my shoulders are.
Doctor Alexander is great at administering the shots.
The crew at the front desk in all locations — let’s give the props to the ladies who work so hard to keep our schedules sane.

The absolute best place for all things fitness, weight loss, sports medicine and chiropractic! I first visited Dr. Scott because of constant knee pain from running. He set me up with a comprehensive plan that included physical therapy, manual therapy, and exercise therapy. I’ve been going for about 6 months and I’ve seen great results. The trainers, massage therapists, and administrative staff are very friendly and professional. I’ve sent many friends here and they all love it.

O.M.G! I went here for a massage last weekend. I found them through Candle Spas and it was just based on the massage aspect of the business. I was a little surprised when I walked in and saw that this was like a community of doctors.
I was early and waited a couple minutes after my appointment time, but then Veronica came to greet me. She was so sweet and understanding. She asked me how I was feeling today and I told her about my minor back issues from a car accident and how it’s been bothering me recently. She listened and asked a few other clarifying questions. She left the room so I could undress.
When she came back, it was bearing gifts: a hot pack, which she explained she would leave on my back to work it’s magic while she started with my limbs. Then the real magic began! This massage was awesome. She moved the heat pack around on my back a few time before working her magic there. She pinpointed problem areas and focused extra attention there, and did so effectively. She asked questions and gave soft guidance as needed. She also let me know what she was doing when spending extra time on an area and why.
When it was over, I wanted to cry! This was very literally the best massage experience I’ve ever had. I walked away feeling loose muscles that are usually in a constant state of stiffness. I will most-​definitely be back!

I’ve been going to Dr. Scott for over a year at a different practice. I was so excited to see him upgrade to this BEAUTIFUL office. This place does it all. They have helped me deal with a chronic back problem through manual therapy, exercise therapy, chiropractic care and trigger points, but also offer tons more.
The PT Trainers and Staff are awesome. I get the BEST workouts here and the admin staff were able to check my out-​of-​network benefits (and were as understanding as humanly possible getting the billing set up).
It definitely gets a bit packed after work so make sure to book in advance.
