Went in for a mani/pedi. Pedicure was ok. Got a gel manicure — worst manicure ever. She cut my cuticle too deep and caused some bleeding. I had to *ask* her to wash the blood off with water. The manicure is terrible — painted over the cuticle, color not even, and took forever. I left a small tip due to my bad experience. The tech laughed and said«normally 15%.» I explained that it was a bad manicure. She said«ok» and looked away. Never. Again.

I got mani and pedi. Work is poorly done and they barely exfoliated my feet. The lady asked me whether I wanted ten minute massage for extra money. I said no and she just dabbed lotion on my legs and just wiped it right off with the towel. Haha What a waste of time and money

Service was the worst I’ve ever experienced. I gave an appropriate tip for the $ 26 I paid for a mani and pedi even though I felt the work was poor. The women complained and was extremely rude and disrespectful saying people usually tip $ 5 instead of $ 4. She went as far as to say that if you tip well you get good work done. She then went on to very obviously talk about me in a complaining tone to her coworker. I felt completely disrespected. I will never go back and I don’t recommend this place to anyone. As for the work done it was sloppy. My big toe nail was cut crookedly. And she hardly exfoliated my feet during the pedicure. It was lazy work. Hence why I wouldn’t tip more and felt $ 4 was already generous considering the poor work I received.

Pretty angel nail spa was one of the worst nail salons I’ve been to! First off, my nail polish peeled off after only 3 or 4 days(paying $ 30 for that). Second, the people working there would talk between themselves in their own language, and I felt that they were always talking about me, so yeah I felt uncomfortable. I honestly do not recommend this place at all!!!

Okay, so I get that the mani/pedicure is $ 26.00, but I wouldn’t pay $ 5.00 for it. I don’t need your attitude Stephanie. Stephanie was rude, kept pulling on my foot, and was abrasive. I just wanted to get out of there. No thank you, nothing. Forget this place. There’s plenty of places under $ 30 in the upper west side, down columbus, on 83rd and some on broadway. Thanks, but no thanks. Also, the place is supposed to be open till 8;30. They turned off the lights while people were in there. Maybe you shouldn’t take clients so late if you’re in such a rush to get out. Lame.

$ 24 mani and pedi on a Sunday. Quick efficient job. Short but nice pedicure massage. I’ll come back

This place is okay. But I don’t like how they try to upsell you on additional services while you’re getting your manicure. language barrier is very significant here and I’d go to another place… but all the other places are much more expensive.

One star is too much! The nail tech barely(understatement) filed, pushed back cuticles, pumiced or massaged. It was an 5 minute pedi and the lady got mad because I accidentally bumped my toe and she had to put in an extra 30 seconds. I agree with other reviewers on the upsell. On a positive note, the salon has a nice selection of colors.

$ 25 for a Mani pedi on the UWS seems like a relatively decent deal. Unfortunately I was unimpressed. I hate places that constantly try to upsell you and that is exactly what they tried to at every intersection. Unfortunately that ruined the experience for me. The pedicure itself was done well. As for my french manicure, they used some old white polish that didn’t dry completely through for hours, and my manicure chipped by the end of the night.

the ladies are nice and they know which clients are good. When I say good I mean not crazy, picky, bitchy, and cheap! some people got a lot of nerve to come into a «nail Salon«and demand service of a four star spa hotel! THEN tip $ 5 for an hour long service! come on. who really works $ 5/hour in NYC… please lets keep it real… in upw the average Mani and Pedi is $ 30 plus $ 10 – 15 tip. Whatever, I always get the spa pedi $ 45 includes scrub, mask, callus treatment and 10m light massage. I always add 10 min to the feet, sometimes add a mani &10m chair massage while my nails dry. I always tip more than 20%, usually $ 20 if the services is about and hour long because they recognize you after the second visit and always gives me extra attention.

I really like this place for a cheap, quick mani & pedi. I’ve been frequenting all 3UWS locations for 3 years & have never had a problem. The price is right & they give a really nice spa pedicure for around $ 50 with a paraffin treatment & callous remover. If you are looking for fancy — do not come here! For your weekly mani, this is the place to go!

I stopped in here on a whim while on my way to work, which is conveniently close to the salon. Man, did this place make me miss my old nail salon back in L.A. I just paid $ 30 for one of the most mediocre, lackluster mani-pedis I think I’ve ever had. The polish is all over my cuticles and I had to tell my pedicurist twice to please actually scrub my feet(rather than gentle brushing them with the pumice stone). It’s a PUMICESTONE. It’s supposed to be used to exfoliate the dead skin off… not scratch an itch. I’ve also received much better hand and foot massages. I mean… I didn’t get one at all. Apparently, if you don’t pay for the extra 15 minute massage, that means they just rub the lotion on your hands and feet and let it air dry. They get points for having a fantastic color selection and using primarily Essie and Opi polishes. I don’t think I’ll be going back unless I find myself desperately needing a manicure while near my job.
