Red Mango

I really love the juice here and have come often since they opened, however the last 5 or 6 times I’ve stopped in they have been completely out of many ingredients and whole items with nothing more than a shrug when I inquired why they have been missing so many basic items (aka oranges, apples, lemon — even soup even though they have them posted on a chalkboard?!)
The person managing the inventory needs to better regulate and manage the store.
This location would do so much better with a friendlier and more engaged staff and a better management of inventory.

This place sucks for the following reasons, and trust me, my review is 100% accurate, also check other reviews to confirm.
1) Staff
Completely brain dead and/​or major attitude. They could not (the girl) or didn’t want to (they boy) answer the simplest question about the ingredients of their smoothies. Then they give out wrong info, saying they don’t have protein, when there is a can of powder clearly visible. Their excuse for not knowing and wrong answers: «We just work here» with an attitude. Not much longer, if a competent management is reading this. And I was not berating them or anything.
2) Product, specifically the protein smoothie:
a) Has sugar added, which you don’t want and isn’t listed on the ingredients, thankfully I caught it before it went in. You just don’t need to add sugar to a smoothie that’s done right, ever.
b) More importantly, the protein amount they add is a complete joke. It has to be the tiniest, microscopically small spoon that I have ever seen. I would guess we are talking sub 5 grams of powder and even less protein. You would think they add pure cocaine or something, from their stinginess. There is probably more protein in the ice cubes. An absolute joke for a $ 4.95 «post workout smoothie». This is against the company/​franchisee (?), not the staff. the ingredients also list protein AND amino acids, I didn’t see any aminos going in.
Thankfully I only resorted to them because I was out of protein powder, I realize how much better my own smoothies are, as well as cheaper. I wont go there again.
(PS, Froyo is totally unhealthy, but that’s not against this place, just saying…)

Sour frozen yogurt did not like taste. Went to get frozen yogurt and when I pushed down it was empty.

Terrible! it is always so dirty here, but it was better when they first opened. I agree with everyone else that the people working there are so miserable and just hate being there. Can someone replace them? The one guy yesterday didn’t even give me a receipt, and when I asked him for it looked at me weird and reluctantly printed it out. HIRE SOMEONE WHO CAN CLEAN UP! It’s disgusting! Fire everyone there now. There are a ton of employees there always, but they just walk around the place with scowls on their faces, doing NOTHING.

This place has no AC at all!!! The staff are unprofessional one of the guys was leaning on the cashier counter watching youtube while I was about to pay my yogurt at the cashier. No one is friendly did not get a greeting or a sign of acknowldegment at all

I was SO excited that one of these opened near my office. I was hoping to have fro-​yo breaks here all summer, but unfortunately this location is TERRIBLE.
It’s always filthy and the employees seem bothered when you walk in the door. I asked about a frequent punch card and they had no idea what I was talking about. The worst part is the flies all over the toppings and everything spilled everywhere. For such a small location, you’d think they could keep it clean. Alas — coffee breaks will have to do!

I don’t really come to this location for anything except for the raw juices. Their juices are made after you place the order and taste great. I like that they offer you a discount if you show proof of NYSC membership.

I am happy that this place decided to open up a block away from my gym, because this location needed the good stuff. Prior to them opening up, I was constantly preparing my smoothies from home. I always wished there was @RedMango near by. My prayers have been answered.
Anyone that desire in visiting this establishment, but not sure what to ask for, I will advise you to ask the staff on duty. They will give you a list of recommendations that you may be interested in, so don’t be surprise you purchase more than one item. A Unilocal review stated that the customer service was terrible, but I don’t see it. The staff went out their to deliver excellent service and that proved to me never believe everything you read.

Have been to this place a few times and each time the staff is the most unpleasant people u will ever meet. For that reason, i will no longer go there.
For a new business– this place sucks when it comes to their staff.
U would think they would look happy and be friendly when a customer enters the store. Nope! They look at u with a dirty look and take a few mins before even asking if u need help. Last time (and final), I was in there I literally walked out, because i was standing there, not being helped. Take your $$ somewhere else… its NYC… there’s plenty of other places that value their customers !!

I guess I’m conflicted. I love the froyo here and the topping bar looked well kept and clean. However, the two employees — a guy and a girl — behind the counter seem absolutely miserable. For the ten minutes I sat and ate my froyo, they uttered not a word to eachother.
The place was empty as I sat and ate, but it is deafening in there. The source of noise? A fridge cabinet right in front that holds the drinks and pastries. It constantly is running. The noise made it very uncomfortable to sit and snack on froyo.
The lucky taro flavor froyo is very good! This is more of a grab and go spot, rather than a sit and enjoy spot.

So happy they opened one of these near us! Staff was very helpful and sweet. The owner even came over to see how we were enjoying our yogurt. My son loved the healthy green juice we had there also! Lots of variety. Something for everyone.

It would be nice if the one gloved sales person would change that glove before touching food that wasn’t going to have a heat source. Watch the workers there, they are unsanitary. It was disgusting she is touching money with her glove then touching the unwrapped food she is throwing in my drink. She then takes some of the food to the back to get a knife. Don’t know what went on back there, so can’t make accusations but she didn’t look happy I asked her to change her glove. NEVER AGAIN!

Brand new, friendly service and an all around nice addition to the neighborhood. Have some nice flavors of self-​serve yogurt, fresh toppings and offer smoothies and juices à la Jamba Juice. Cold Lavazza coffees and pastries too. (Owner says hot coffee on the way. Only weird thing is the bench seating has lumpy cushions, and they just opened.
