Well, got there on a Saturday night. The place looks really cool but the service. We sat at the bar unnoticed for 10 minutes and left. The staff simply ignored us although the waitress looked directly at us at least twice. It was quite frustrating

continuing to eat my way around the block and as usual, im coming up disappointed. failed to find one good thing to eat on my street corner. i think all the spots get their pizza ingredients from the same dude because all the crust sauce and cheap ass pepperoni tastes the same to me. like iv eaten this pizza before in an alternate time, space and reality. hmm… déjà vu to some other underwhelming pizza. but yah a big fat greasy mess. the cheese was shit, the sauce is good — spicy even — which is the saving grace, and i was honestly tearing pepperoni off it because it was too much quantity zero actual quality. can we not talk about the food, ugh. this is Unilocal right, where overcritical foodies can get badges for whining :) its not all bad tho. when i have a shitty experience, i usually veer back to buying groceries, so i save money that way lol.

rocky’s you old rascal, you keep me coming back. for the past 5 years of my life when visiting this city, i always end up here at some point, always after 2am, sometimes with a crying investment banker. you can’t hide the truth about your shitty life from rocky’s because it knows. money can’t buy you happiness sir, but it can buy you a penne a la vodka slice that you will find in your bed the next day. rocky’s never change, i love you.

Shit pizza. Shit service. Shit prices The guys here don’t cook there individual slices for long enough. The pizza itself tastes terrible even when it isn’t cold. The prices are ridiculous, I’ve only ever been here out of necessity since I work close by. I hope this place gets shut down ASAP and a real restaurant replaces it.

I got a chicken parmesean sandwich, the bread was burnt and they still served it to me. I didn’t care much for it as i was pretty darn hungry at the time. They only took notice when they saw i had discarded much of the bread onto my plate. They did offer me a slice of pizza though. Thanks but no

Quaint, slow restaurant with ok service. I thought the service would be better since there were only 3 other tables sat when I was there, but the servers were friendly(just slow and a bit inattentive). The grilled chicken sandwich I had was great tho.

I may have been overtly hungry but their pizza was delicious. Chicken caesar on a cheese garlic pizza? Bacon and tomato with ranch? Delicious. Price made it even more delectable.

Stopped for a quick bite and happy hour. The portions are huge! My friends ordered the chicken caesar salad pizza, I can’t eat pizza but I ate the salad off the top and it was awesome! The drinks were great and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend this hidden gem!

I work by the area, I come here for some wine and pizza from time to time. Pizza is okay, drinks are okay. Overall, its just good for a quick bite and drink not for a Friday night out.

Wouldn’t let me use the bathroom even though I explained to them that I wished to be a customer and the need was urgent. They were shockingly rude throughout the entire interaction. Don’t support communism. Go elsewhere.

Sounds cliché but they serve the best pizza. The sauce is sweet and tangy, I get extra on my slice.

This place has good service, good food and the place is newly renovated and a nice cozy place for lunch or a mid day drink.

I came to Rocky’s Bar this past Saturday to watch the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight(which was a snoozer, but that will not affect my review). Anyhow, the place is a relatively small, bar/pizza shop I would suppose. I saw about 6 tables and a couple of long couches. The pizza is on the opposite end of the bar and was okay to say the least. The staff were nice and friendly and i have no complaints.(Beer was 7 bucks and drinks were 12, I found that to be a bit high for the this type of establishment, but what can you do) I may possibly return for another boxing match, but otherwise would not return here… P. S. They desperately need to work on their sound system. There were multiple issues with hearing the fight and cutting the DJ off so we could hear the announcers.

Great pizza! Absolutely the cleanest restaurant/bar in south west Manhattan. Gotta visit! Bartender poors a mean drink

Really like this place. The pizza is very good, the staff is very nice, and the beer is inexpensive. Also, the restrooms are surprisingly pristine… you don’t see that very often for a bar in NY. I will be going back.

We had a party here. It was great the bar tender was real nice and we even got discounts on drinks. The drinks are moderately priced.

My boss and I decided to swing by and give this place a try. I walked in and saw a line of about 5 people along the counter where the pizza is displayed. There’s a salad bar at the corner and a customer was having their salad prepared. For like 2 minutes I’m peering behind the pizza display looking for someone to take my order. It began to dawn upon me that the one guy that’s preparing the salad is the only person behind the counter. After the salad is done, the custoemr walks to the front of the line to retrieve the rest of their order. No one else popped up behind the counter to take orders or help . I wasn’t going to wait around. Lunch time is limited and Difara’s this is not.

Stopped here while waiting for a Megabus to leave(your options are here and the McDonald’s across the street) and it was an odd experience. Nothing was wrong, the restaurant just felt physically empty and gave me the feeling of a model house that hasn’t actually been used. There were a few tables of people, though everyone I saw was only drinking. There were some pizzas(3) on the far side of the restaurant sitting out that I didn’t see touched while we were there. Pretty standard domestic and import draft beer selection at reasonable prices($ 10 for 2 — I believe it was happy hour?), but nothing really stood out as being unique or even inviting. There was one employee running the bar, and that’s all I saw. Service was prompt and effective. All in all, I’d only recommend stopping if you’re in the area with some time to waste. Not a bad place to kill half an hour.

Live across street and with great excitement we watched as they did reasonable job remodeling. Anyway… The pizza was fine. But the neighborhood was hoping for a neighborhood night spot . They(maybe just me?) not sure if they want to be lunch restaurant or a hangout bar. Well it will never be night spot… Décor all wrong. It is what it is. a good place to get a slice in the afternoon. Therefore it fails as a bar night spot. 1 star. pizza was good enough but not nearly as good as Caverlo on 7th.
