Acupuncture is the ideal way to treat many conditions in a safe and natural way. By using sterile and hair-thin needles to balance an individual’s own Qi, or energy, acupuncture stimulates the body’s extraordinary ability to heal and self-regulate. Used for thousands of years to effectively treat conditions of physical pain and mental or emotional distress, acupuncture is a full system of medicine recently gaining acceptance in today’s modern world.

Samantha was trained in four styles of Acupuncture:

Traditional Chinese Medicine, or TCM, is the most widely utilized form of acupuncture, both in the East and West. Japanese Acupuncture is a gentler, more meridian based approach that uses the finest gauge needles for gentle stimulation to restore balance to the body. Trigger Point Acupuncture (also known as ‘dry needling’) is a Physical Therapy based approach that uses acupuncture needles to stimulate and release tight and bound muscles and connective tissue, and is particularly helpful in chronic pain and injury recovery. Classical Chinese Medicine is an ancient approach that draws upon the Taoist roots of Chinese Medicine as it was practiced over 2,000 years ago. Samantha draws upon her wide training to tailor treatments according to the needs of each of her patients. Her specialties include the treatment of chronic pain, migraines, stress and anxiety, and also uses acupuncture to facilitate her patient’s personal growth and evolution.

Samantha Y.

Business Owner

Samantha was drawn to study acupuncture after being successfully treated for migraines ten years ago. She received her Master of Science degree from Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City, where she was trained in four different styles of acupuncture to treat conditions including, but not limited to, chronic pain, muscle and tendon strain, anxiety, stress, insomnia, headaches, gastrointestinal issues, and women’s issues. Wanting to explore more healing practices, Samantha became certified in Reiki energy therapy as well as Craniosacral therapy, a type of gentle bodywork stemming from osteopathy designed to manipulate the cerebrospinal fluid in order to bring balance to the body. Additionally, Samantha utilizes the techniques of Hypnotherapy to help guide her patients through their own healing process in a positive and self-affirming way. Samantha sees each person as having many layers, so work can be done on a muscular level, or on a deeper, more spiritual plane.
