I was referred to Dr. Resnick by my dentist. He is amazing. His hands are light as a feather. The office is immaculate with state-​of-​the-​art equipment. Wonderful staff. I walked in miserable and left elated.

I dare you to find a more pleasant, calming, professional dental practice. Dr. Resnick listened to me, explained everything in great detail, and had a warm and caring bedside manner. His staff was wonderful and the office is stunning a immaculate. I had an extremely positive experience here and I give Dr. Resnick and his staff my highest recommendation.

I was referred by my dentist for an urgent root canal and was seen by Dr. Resnick in less than 24 hours. I was in a lot of pain before the procedure. I did not have pain during or after the procedure. It was less painful than getting a filling – really! I could not believe that was possible. He is awesome, considerate and clearly highly skilled. The best of the best — in NYC, if not the planet!

Each of my visits to Dr Scott Resnick at New York City Endodotics for a root canal were the very best they could be. Even though my first visit was at the urgent request of my dentist I was treated like a client whose appointment had long been on the books. The very personable office staff expected me and knew my name and had prepared a Tablet for me to complete with my personal information (and they didn’t blink when I messed up and needed assistance inputting it).
Very shortly I was escorted to Dr Resnick’s office and met the doctor, which was really a pleasure. As his assistant took x-​rays he read over the notes I had brought with me and consulted with the dentist who sent me. He then examined my tooth and agreed a root canal was required. Even though I, fortunately, was not in pain I was still asked if I would mind that my root canal was not scheduled for the next day as a big blizzard was scheduled and the day after seemed a safer bet.
My root canal itself was completely without pain during and after the procedure. When it was finished Dr Resnick showed me the x-​ray that shows the roots clearly visible in white and I was shocked because the three roots looked like a pitchfork that had been twisted by a tornado. How he ever could have followed those infinitesimal, twisty little roots I cannot imagine. I don’t have the technical expertise to write about all the equipment used for my root canal but I can say that it was awesome. Dr Resnick is truly a wonderful person, the way he speaks to his staff, his sense of humor and of course, his great talent.
And a word about the offices — they are simple and tasteful with a lovely view of Central Park and the gentle accompaniment of classical music.

I’ve had a few root canals performed by Dr. Resnick and he was great. I have a long, problematic dental history, and have seen many dentists. The first time I had a root canal, I did not realize I needed one. I was in extreme pain, and my face swelled up over the weekend. My regular dentists saw me on the following Monday, and sent me to New York City Endodontics, where Dr. Resnick saw me within an hour on the same day, having made no appointment in advance.
Dr. Resnick was gentle and caring, and seemed to possess a genuine interest in his work, and was intrigued by my abnormal roots. He explained things as he went along, and the procedure was relatively pain-​free. The only slight discomfort was the dental damn stretching my mouth open the whole time so he could get to the rear molar that was being worked on. The chair is very comfortable and has a great view of Central Park.
The two other root canals I had were less dire, but the doctor’s professional attention was the same. Only once did I have soreness afterward (the following few days), but that is probably typical.
The only drawback is that his office did not accept my insurance and the bills were always above $ 1,500 or so. That required a different approach to «pain» management. I was afraid to see other endodontists, fearing if I paid less I’d get less. H
