Shanghai Cafe

Love this place! It’s a true NYC China town restaurant. They are fast, and know how to make really good dumplings! They are very busy and very popular so they want to get you in, fed, and out. My friends and I go here all the time and we love it!!!

please don’t go there service is horrible. we order to steamed tiny buns (小笼包). we did not finish eating one waiter came over try to take them away from us. Some staff are talking so loud, playing cellphone n put their leg on the chair. We didn’t like the service so i only put down two dollars of tips. Guess what happen the waitress came over n said is too little tip. So i told her is up to me how much do i want to tip. Then she say we have to put down 15%. So i put one more dollar down then walk out. This just happened tonight.

The service at this place is terrible. The food is good but the way they treat customers are awful. Waitress were yelling at each other across the restaurant, when they brought out the food they threw it on the table. Before you even finish your meal they brought the check to ensure you leave soon to give up table for other customers.
