St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Obstetric and Gynecology

This place is the worst place in the world. I had originally been going to boro park ogyn in Williamsburg. My nurologist made an appointment with this office due to me being a high risk prengancy. I had previously went to two appointments in my regular gynecologist and this would have been my first appointment with them.
I first step in and from the beginning it seems that the office had no idea what they were doing. I had called my gynecologist and to see if it was possible to have them send me my results. My doctor said no problem tell them to give you a release form and to fax it to us and well do it right away. I told them this and they looked at me if I was the stupidest person in the world and they had never heard about this form or what I was trying to do. Later after calling my gynecologist and having them explain what the form was for they finally figured it out.
The head nurse was a big bitch she gave me attitude because she did not understand how I got an appointment since they did not have any of my paperwork and seem to want to send me away. I explained to her that my neurologist was a family friend and made an appointment for me and spoke to her boss. She told me to take a seat and I would me seem soon. 2 – 3 hours later I get weighed. Then was asked to take a urine test and then another nurse gives me back my urine sample without the lid and tells me to trow it out!!! At this point I think this place is a joke.
I’m then seen by a young doctor who takes all my medical records and then tries to see my baby with the cheapest sonogram machine I have ever seen. Then when she can’t she moves me to another room and tries with a bigger sonogram machine. She could not figure out how to use the machine and asks one of the other doctors to come inside and help her then the machine seems not to work so they brought a third person in a man which I assumed was a technician and later found out he’s actually the head doctor there. At this point there’s 3 people in the room no one introduces themselves of asked if it’s okay to come in, and I’m half naked.
They decide to take me downstairs to use another sonogram machine where a very nice technician helped me. At this point there’s 6 people in the room and I flip. «Why is there so many people in the room am I a freak show or something. I didnt give permission for you guys to be in here». They leave and then I get the bad news. Now my original 3 doctors tell me nothing, just say stuff happens, and you have 3 choices, I’m confused and they leave so I can changethe male doctor gives me a paper and then the sonogram technician explains to me what happens and gives me positive support. I step out of the room and my doctors disappear and don’t explain anything to me or tell me any advice or what to expect. I am disgusted with this place. Women do not go here, I highly recommend boro park obgyn.
