Local morning hotspot, what more can I say? The counter seems understaffed, and they’ve been out of sugar twice last week. How can you sell $ 4 coffee and run out of sugar? Bathroom is on a par with public restrooms in Central Park(translation: enter at your own risk). I really wish the manager would address some of these concerns.

I stopped by this Starbucks when I feel like having coffee or some fresh drinks. My favorite coffee is Blonde Roast, lightly roasted coffee that’s flavorful with hazelnut. I also liked Valencia Orange Starbucks Refreshers TM Beverage. This orange beverage is combined with floral and fruity notes from orange peel and Green Coffee Extract. Their pure Orange Juice is fresh. The location is convenient. The service was good but music was a little loud

I unfortunately go here way too often. Need to time it just right as the mornings can either be fairly empty or complete pandemonium. The servers are generally very nice and efficient and keep the line moving. The food is good, especially the reduced fat bacon sandwich. Love the new cold brew. Make sure to check availability because sometimes the signs says it’s sold out but they have it(good for me!). Otherwise it’s clean and spacious with a lot if tables and a nice view of first avenue. Seems to be a neighborhood hangout place, especially after work. Starbucks is Starbucks but $ 3 for a cold brew on the upper east side is comparable in price to the smaller, independent coffee places and hands down far superior to Dunking Donuts. Well worth the visit.

Worst service and least helpful staff I have ever experienced. I asked two simple questions about a tea and they could not give me a straight answer! I ended up just throwing the drink away. How do not know if something is caffeinated? How can the person who made the tea not be able to answer if it is sweetened or not? Seriously?

The girl who helped me was sweet. However, drink making skills are wayyyyy under par at this store. My Cold Brew Ice Coffee was too watery and the extra caramel drizzle in my Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappucino was a sludge on the side of the cup instead of distributed evenly in an orderly manner-and I know what I’m talking about because I work at Starbucks. In Manhattan you’re probably better off going to a local coffee shop because I’ve noticed Starbuck’s in Manhattan seem to lacking in the area of quality and in some cases customer service. Jus’ sayin… A shame that Jersey actually has one up on NY in this area.

I always get a simple tall Americano with room for one cream and one sugar. Typically, Starbucks can handle my order within one minute max. However, while this establishment has friendly customer service and great atmosphere, I CANNOT overlook the glacial pace with which my beverage was prepared. I’m looking forward to faster service in the future and am happy to give this Starbucks a second chance

Why does it take so long to order at this location? Very disappointing because it’s a great location with plenty of space inside to hang out

The staff is terrible and obnoxious! They are so loud and very disturbing to the people in the café! They need to be more professional!

Went in for my first cup of pick me up off the floor, it was made well but I gave them a low eating because they only had one barista and it took over 9 mins!!!

Decided to walk a little further to Starbucks today since the line was out the door again on the one on 2nd avenue. This was not as busy and much faster.

This upper east side location is horrible. Employees are young, rude and extremely stupid — mouth breathers. Very strange as I’m usually impressed with Starbucks employees The place is also overrun with neighborhood tween-agers and little kids — no supervision whatsoever — is there no manager ever on duty??? Awful vibe

Spacious and clean but the baristas especially after 11am are not friendly and very UNPROFESSIONAL. I don’t expect the guy behind me on line to receive his drink before mine just because the Barista knows them personally… Drinks are always messy and no «goodbye or thank you, come again.» Though I live up the street after the third attempt to receive better service, I’ll visit the nearest competing vendor instead.

This is a great location and huge… I come here often to work on projects because I the space and outlets at every table, which frequent Starbucks patrons know that is hard to come by !

This Starbucks has always been one of my favorites ! It’s big with plenty of seating and it’s never so packed that you can’t find a table . Yesterday morning before work I stopped in to get my usual iced soy caramel macchiato, I was so excited when I walked out and took a sip but it was warm and sour eww so I ran back in and told the nice girl who made it for me and she was very apologetic but I told her it’s not your fault, sometimes it happens with the soy, I wasn’t mad at all, I just wanted one that tasted normal lol, so she made me a fresh one and asked if I would like this one to be a venti but I kindly declined since I didn’t want to bounce off the walls all day, she apologized like 5 times and then gave me a coupon for a free coffee to use for next time, very nice of her Thank you :)

this spacious starbucks is no different than any other starbucks you’ve ever been into. They have a cozy seating area and a wrap-around bar seating area along the windows. Depending on the day or the hour the baristas are friendly. I have been there when it appeared the last place the baristas wanted to be was at work, but generally, I leave smiling. They have great food selections and the coffee is, well, as you’d expect.

One of the better Starbucks locations that I have been to on the UES, and it’s also one of the largest. Open and airy with plenty of space to stretch out in. Lots of spots to sit at from tables and chairs, a large communal table, metal stools by the window counters, and even comfy padded leather chairs to kick back in. It even looks like they put some design element into this one with art on the walls, brick walls, nice lighting, and even a drop wooden ceiling suspended above the communal table. Friendly baristas, nice music, and clean bathrooms going on when I was here. Full arsenal of coffee products and items for sale as with all Starbucks. Had no problems getting my coffee, finding a seat, and charging my phone while surfing the net for a bit. Even though I was here during early morning prime time hours it really wasn’t too crowded, and the wifi hogs had not taken over every available seat. Maybe it’s because this location is all the way over on 1st Ave and kind of hidden away over there.

This is actually quite a good Starbucks. WORTHNOTING: One of the few Starbucks stores with a Clover machine. Clover machines are awesome. They cost about $ 20,000, or at least they used to, until Starbucks bought the company. SO, if you want Clover coffee, it’s Starbucks or nothin. Clover is worth it, though — they have single origin beans here, and I think they’ll also do it iced, though it’s not cold-brewed. So that might be a waste.
