Today I came in this Subway and when I was ready to purchase I picked up the first bag of «Ruffles Original» and their was a big whole at the bottom. I knew it was from Mice because of the way it was torn, but tried to brush it off as I just bought food and didn’t want to make an issue of it. Then I picked up another bag of «Ruffles Original», and their was another hole at the bottom of it. At this point it was ridiculous and gross because these bags were high up near the food preparation station so many thoughts were running through my head about how uncleanly this subway was. 1. They have a mice problem. 2. They don’t care to check the product on the showroom floor. 3.The worker snatched it out of my hand(not in a nasty way, but more of I can’t apologize for this cause if I do it’s taking fault for«Subway’s» faulty mice ridden product).

Not going to get into it but very slow service and bad workers. Go to a different subway in the area.

This is the first Subway I’ve tried in the city and I’m very happy with what I received. I’m usually inclined to go to the store but I was very busy and decided to order for delivery. It only took about 30 minutes to receive(I’m located on the Avenue of the Americas between 53rd and 54th.) My sandwich was fresh; not soggy and my vegetables were actually fresh! I’ve never had banana peppers that were actually spicy. One of the personnel at the location called me to inform me they were out of the specific chips I required and I appreciate that he did that; it shows that they care. The delivery guy was very sweet and kind. I loved everything that I received today and I would continue to order for delivery in the near future.

Fast, friendly service. Always come here for lunch. This restaurant is definitely cleaner than the other restaurants I’ve been to in the area. Sandwiches are always tasty here… usually get the footlong Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki or Spicy Italian sub.

Pretty terrible. Ordered delivery during work hours because I didn’t have time to leave my office and it took them over an hour for a turkey sandwich to be delivered three blocks away. I called them to make sure it was still coming and they put me on hold for over ten minutes and then said it was on the way. It then took another 15 minutes to arrive. Ridiculous.

Let me just preface this by saying this is NOT my first time at Subway. I frequent New York City subways quite often and will tell you that there is a noticeable quality difference between them. The Midtown West Subway in New York City is by far and away the best Subway in New York City. Usually, I go with my usual(Spicy Italian w/no cheese imma lactose hehe) but today there was a wind beneath my wings and I went with the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki on a 12-Inch honey whole wheat toasted. A classic choice for many. I added a few of the quality vegetables from the bar and my sandwich was made! Just under five minutes!!! Is it magic? Is it fast food? NOOOOJUSTFOOOODQUICKLY. Before I get into the flavor blast of a sandwich my sweet onion chicken teriyaki was let me first describe the friendly wait-staff. A lovely Middle-Eastern man named Paco greeted me and asked me about me my day. It’s the little things people!!! Now onto my sandwich… Holding this 12-inch Asian infused hoagie was mouth-watering enough and I could not wait to jump right in. My first bite was loaded with taste. The sweet onion sauce made itself known right away. It’s a tangy condiment that comes highly recommended. The chicken was fresh AND succulent… a rarity these days. Additionally, my usual vegetable medley of black olives, jalapenos, tomatoes, and onions was fresh per usual(WARNING: may cause bad breath). Through 7 inches of my 12 inch delicassy I stopped, I breathed. All this euphoria can be overwhelming, so I decided to save some for later. 10⁄10 Subway!!! Kudos!

This Subway is one of the worst I’ve ever encountered. Be prepared to stand in line for a good 10 minutes(even if you called in an order — you shouldn’t even bother doing that. Call Lenny’s or something), the people that work there are so la-dee-da and seem to not know what they’re doing. I’ve been there TWICE where there was a line going towards the back of the restaurant and one of the employee’s decided to just go take his lunch break, vs. getting rid of the line(I take lunch between 1−2PM). The last time I was there, the guy working the register was trying to answer questions for the toppings guys customer, I had to actually tell him«I HAVETOGOBACKTOWORKCANYOURINGMEUP?» because he was standing there with his mouth open soaking in the conversation. …Never again.

There are a couple of miserable bad apples working at this Subway location that unfortunately spoil the entire operation. For every decent customer service person building your sandwich, there’s one more who wishes they had a better lot in life, and have no interest in being a decent service person. The manager taking cash at the register seems to care, which is the only thing saving this location.

Blazing fast service, A machine that is oiled and ready for heavy industrial sandwich making. I always get the $ 5 foot long, and for what it is, its a great value. Going for one today as a matter of fact. Staff actually pleasant and mild mannered.

This is a typical, run-of-the-mill Subway. Last time I visited(2÷10÷11), their toaster was broken. I didn’t realize how much the taste of their sandwiches was improved by a little heat. Cold sandwich = gross(even at only $ 5). Do yourself a favor and go to the deli with the red awning across the street. They’ve never let me down.

I’ve never had anything against the service at Subway, although some places definitely have nicer, more efficient employees than other. However, with all of the places in NY that have amazing sub sandwiches, there is no excuse to be eating at this chain. I mean, come on, tuna with an ice cream scoop? What’s up with their tuna, anyways? The bread, although freshly baked, is really nothing of note. It’s not even about money, either because you can totally find something a million times better for equal or less.
