Sweeping Beauty NYC

I am a NYC real estate agent who had a tenant moving into a brownstone on very short notice. Realizing we needed to secure housekeeping services immediately, we received a tip to contact Sweeping Beauty and opted to give them a try. The online process of booking and payment was thorough, quick and easy. As for our team of «beauties», we cannot say enough about Denise, Ray and Valentina. For starters, they were prompt, arrived to the correct address when they said they would and came armed with their own cleaning supplies. All three had a very positive and customer-​service, friendly, can-​do attitude. We walked each floor and I gave an overview of what was required (exterior basic clean up, some yard work, interior mopping, dusting, scrubbing walls/​floors, windows, bathrooms, kitchen, etc), and then I left them for four hours to do their thing. Upon returning, I opened the door to find a bright, fresh smelling home (previously mildew smell) and an immediate sense of «clean». Again, we walked the floors so that Dee could point out all that was tended to (including folded toilet tissue, just like a hotel!) and to touch up some last minute things she noticed. And did I mention that they performed the job without the aid of an air conditioner, let alone in 95 degree weather, and not even that reality dampened their work ethic or spirits. This former empty dwelling now felt like a home: clean and well tended.

I was hesitant to hire a cleaning service because I’d never done it before, but I really am in no physical shape to clean an entire apartment before we move in, so I had to find someone.
I saw they were voted one of the best in 2014 so I called them. The rep on the phone took time to answer all my questions, and they quoted me a fair price. I liked how organized they were about the whole process, paying upfront through paypal was easy, and then Denise came over and did a great job. She was personable, smart, detail-​oriented, organized and very very clean.
She took the time to disinfect, get into the nooks and crannies, and explained it all to me as she went along. I highly recommend Denise and the Sweeping Beauty service. I hope to get it done regularly!

I have hired Sweeping Beauty a couple times to do «deep» cleaning of the kitchen and usual cleaning of the rest. The company has been honest, efficient, the cleaners have appeared on time and done a more than competent job. This past time, however, a college student named India arrived and turned in an «over the top» performance, finding dirt I didn’t know existed, reorganizing my even orderly spaces, getting down on her hands and knees when she needed to. I’ve signed her up through college and would do so beyond, but that would deprive her future company of the superb CEO she will surely become. Thank you, India!

This is by far the best housekeeping service I have used in NYC. Things I love about Sweeping Beauty:

After me and my boyfriend’s room mate moved out, we had one of those spare bedrooms that suddenly became a very expensive not-​so-​walk-​in storage. As a fashion designer with my own personal image consulting business, I had dreams of having an organized, functional, home office where I would send rapid emails and tailor pants at the height of my productivity!
But alas weekends passed as I shuffled and purged my belongings making progress only to still have a cluttered room.
Until one day, a gift from the universe, Dee appeared in my life and told me about her Sweeping Beauty home organizing services. I had actually already decided I needed professional help but others on the market were expensive only offering to give me an «organizing plan». My soon-​to-​be-​studio and I got booked.
Dee arrived and surveyed my anxiety-​inducing disaster area with de-​light. Within 25 minutes, we saw floor. A couple hours later, paper was sorted. And in four hours, my home office dream was actualized!!!
You know, I’m usually not the romantic-​type, but Sweeping Beauty was everything I hoped.

Fantastic job. Not only am I beyond impressed with the quality, timelines and thoroughness of the work, but I also enjoyed the company! Beyond the actual cleaning, the service over the phone is very accommodating and friendly. Will be a go to cleaning service for the future, for me!

Sweeping Beauty has been cleaning our apartment for several months now and my review is well overdue!
They are so awesome, and I love coming home after Deniseea and her crew have been here. Although many times it is just Deniseea and I don’t know how she does it all by herself, and so fast!
She cleans our floors by hand, the kitchen and bathrooms are spotless, and she is so sweet and nice on top of delivering a great service. Additionally the price is much lower than over cleaners I have priced out.
I love that you can text or email them when you are ready to schedule another cleaning, rather than having to call, super easy and convenient.

Sweeping Beauty is extremely bad. I gave them all the information they needed when I tried to make an appointment. They told me to make an appointment for two workers of 4 hours. I paid the money for deep cleaning. However, when the workers arrived, they said that they couldn’t finish the job within 4 hours. I compromised and told them to clean as much as they could. The sweeping beauty workers worked terribly slowly and inefficient. They only finished sweep the floor and mop the floor and cleaning the bathroom within 4 hours. What’s more, they were 10 minutes late and spent 30 minutes about talking during the 4 hours. My friends tried to clean the floor themselves. They cleaned the living room much more cleaner than the «professional workers» within less than 30 minutes.
Sweeping Beauty is far from beauty. First, the workers are too inefficient. The money doesn’t worth it at all. I ordered deep cleaning, they were supposed to get the refrigerator, the oven cleaned. But they only cleaned the floor and the bathrooms because they said that the time was not enough. Second, The sweeping beauty workers are not professional at all. I ordered deep cleaning and hope them to clean up the stick stuff on floor. However, my friend could do better than all of them. They just cleaned up the dust and some trash on floor. I can do it all by myself. Third, sweep beauty didn’t finish the job within time. It got me into so much trouble. I was supposed to do the house inspection the very next day. Since they didn’t finish even the basic cleaning, I might have to pay a high penalty. Fifth, all the customers are asked to pay the cost before the cleaning. If you are not satisfied with their job, there is no way for you to get your money back or to get any compensation. This is so unreasonable.

Client from January 2013 to July 2013, scheduled one initial deep clean, followed by monthly standing appointment.
THE GOOD
The price — sufficiently lower than other cleaners I’d priced
Deniseea — does a fantastic job, seems to be a perfectionist, she’s the owner, but alas not the person who cleaned my place on regular basis, was just there once to fix things after the initial deep clean went array.
Staff Attitude — very pleasant and polite, felt comfortable & safe giving them house keys
THE BAD
Inconsistent & Unreliable. 3 out of 7 cleanings I scheduled were a fail.
1) NOT ACTUALLY CLEAN — The initial deep clean in January was a disappointment. It seemed like maybe they hadn’t allowed enough time, as certain things were done very well (my fridge has never looked so good, she had even plastic wrapped one bottle that was missing a cover, scaled my tea pot, did a good job organizing my clutter so the place looked extra clean & nice) and certain things were neglected. Aka two large shelves not even dusted, large dust bunnies in some corners (floors looked washed, not sure how the dust bunnies got on top of the clean floor), hairs left on the floor, etc. I would have been mortified had I invited anyone over that evening thinking my house would be clean. That being said, Deniseea, the owner, came out with the employee who had cleaned and they made it right. So, I continued to use them, feeling like anyone can make a mistake.
2) LATE — Cleaning person was late/​no show on one occasion due to personal emergency in May. They offered to have someone come the next day or day after. I did it myself on Wed evening after I got home from work, as I needed a clean house on Thursday. Decided to give her house keys so if, understandably, something came up or trains ran late this wouldn’t be an issue.
3) NO SHOW — Cleaning person no show. That was yesterday. I emailed Sweeping Beauty yesterday morning but no reply as of yet.

Sweeping Beauty is outstanding! The ability to handle everything by email or text, not to mention paying with paypal makes this the most convenient services out there. This is one of those well oiled machines like seamless that will keep you from ever moving back to your childhood neighborhood in jersey.
I believe they rotate cleaners, but Sasha has been doing such a great job with my loft that iv just had her stay on. So i cant speak for all their staff, but Sasha is awesome! As soon as she enters my apartment, all the dust runs for the back, and jumps out the window seeking easier terrain… or at least thats what i imagine happens while im out. She takes instruction very well and is EXTREMELY adept at managing anal ocd requests like lining up electronics, etc.
Like everyone’s already said, this place is a no brainer, and if your lucky enough to get sasha you’ll be in good hands.
At this point we’re not really reviewing the service anymore we’re just expressing appreciation for a job well done.

I had family coming in town and needed my apartment cleaned before they arrived for the weekend. I called the owner (who operates her business from her cell phone) and scheduled a time for the cleaners to be at my apartment at 2 PM Friday afternoon. She asked me to text her my email address so she could send me an invoice for the cleaning (Which she expects to be paid before the cleaning is done.) When Friday rolls around I was out running errands all day because I knew I would have to be stuck at home from 2 PM for four hours while the cleaners did their job. I got back to my apartment just before 2 PM and at 2:30 PM there was still no one there. I called the owner to find out if the cleaners were running late and I got her voicemail so I left a message saying that I was concerned and for her to call me back. At 3 PM there are still no cleaners so I called the owner again and this time her cell phone was turned off. I spent the rest of the evening cleaning the apartment myself in order to have it ready for my guests. Later that night when I was finished cleaning I got online to check my email and saw that they had sent me an email Friday morning asking me for my address. When I didn’t respond with my address they canceled my appointment and didn’t bother calling me or texting me to ask me for my address. She had no problem setting up the appointment over the phone and sending me an invoice and getting paid for the job but evidently actually cleaning the apartment was too much trouble for her. I bet that if I had not already paid her for the job they definitely would have called me and asked me for my address so that they could have honored their appointment!

Get to the Chase:
Pros:
1) Called at the last minute, and was able to schedule an appointment that very day! Extremely accommodating and polite
2) Very thorough cleaning! Never missed a spot
3) I was lucky to have the owner of the business clean my apartment! She was absolutely professional, and knew how to get the job done efficiently. My apartment looked brand new after she was done!
4) VERY affordable, and finding a service that does a fantastic job at their prices is rare! I will definitely keep their number on my favorites and am sure to be a long-​time customer.
5) This company makes sure their staff is professional and personable! You can bet that they’ll get the job done, and they love what they do! PRO-​STATUS right hur!
These were listed on the website, but may vary due to location, size of the apartment, amount of cleaning, how quickly you need the job done… etc. But regardless this company works with you to get the most reasonable price hands down!

Sweeping Beauty is AMAZING. After having many rounds of sub-​letters with varying definitions of «clean», I had a deep cleaning done this afternoon. They were on time, friendly, and incredibly thorough and fast. My apartment looks absolutely beautiful and I am so happy! Thank you!

Deniseea does a great job. She is always on time or ahead of schedule. She is fast… cleans my 1 bdrm/​700 sq ft apt in 2.5 hours. Does a great job on my floors, appliances, bathrooms, bedrooms. This company is also very receptive when you have requests, such as, paying special attention to your specific needs. They are the most affordable cleaning company I have found in town. I would recommend.

We live in a one bedroom apartment that we had, unfortunately, neglected for quite some time. Sweeping Beauty was amazing at scheduling a last minute appointment over the weekend and came in and transformed the place. We got the deep clean and they were very, very thorough– they even organized the cabinet below the bathroom sink!
Both Vee and Dee were really nice and so personable when they came and were really accommodating when showed them everything that needed to be done.
We just recently had our apartment cleaned a second time and we are definitely going to get them to come on a regular basis!

My friend’s apartment was getting cleaned and along with her stuff, MY CLOTHES GOT CLEANED! woohoo! This young lady is so personable, kind, generous, and so fun to be around. I couldn’t do such a thorough job myself. My only complaint? I am visiting from Texas and she is located here in NYC. Do yourself a favor (or do a favor for a friend — they will love you for it!) and call Sweeping Beauty NYC. The rates are reasonable and her schedule is flexible.

One of my friends paid for my apartment to be cleaned so that I came out of the hospital to a really clean and organized home. Deniseea was AMAZING and very thorough when she cleaned my apartment. She deep cleaned everything and tidied up — organized my apartment and mail, even! Seriously, this place is worth every penny. The service is just amazing — love it! Will definitely be telling everyone about this place.

Sweeping beauty is wonderful! Deniseea was super friendly, extremely thorough and also accommodated my last minute request as well. I was so pleased with my glimmering apartment, but also the small details, like the little chocolates she left on my pillow. I would absolutely recommend her service in a heart beat and i look forward to having her over again.

Deniseea is friendly, thorough, and efficient. She was very accommodating, as I needed her last minute. Her rate was reasonable and when she left my apartment it was impeccable. I couldn’t have asked for a better cleaning service. We definitely will be using her again in the future.
