Our practice philosophy is to deliver the highest standard of service to children in a caring, nurturing environment. We facilitate successful communication through a dynamic, comprehensive approach in order to meet the individual needs of each child. We maintain a level of competency that will ensure the highest standard of service. Every child deserves to be heard loud and clear. Communication is the path to success throughout life, let us pave the way. Our practice provides speech and language services including evaluation, intervention, consultation, training, and enrichment. After an initial evaluation is completed, speech therapy may be provided one to three times each week focusing on highly specified, intricately developed goals. In addition to improving the communication of each child, services will also encompass parent training and consultation as needed. We welcome children and their families for treatment, consultation, tutoring and/or training.

A Long Island native, Ms. Hefets has dedicated her time to enhancing the quality of children’s lives by making it possible for them to communicate. Her goal is to find a way for each and every child to communicate, as communication paves the way to success. Our services are structured around a belief that learning to communicate should be fun and exciting, not a frustrating and overwhelming process.
