Environment is perfect and beautiful for some delicious tea and snacks. The staff is so informative and friendly that you just feel at home. You can really feel the love and attention given to the café. Perfect for a cozy get together with a friend or a day on your own with a book and lovely cup of tea.

The $ 3.54 Pineapple Linzer was indeed damn good (only ten available per day apparently, and all still seemed there when I arrived after 12pm), but this is a bit of a squandering of the space formerly occupied by Bonnie Slotnick (which they graciously mention in the space). Place was empty besides a proprietor on a laptop at one of their very few tables, and the male staffer making multiple attempts at talking about the weather and taking unnecessary care packing the linzer to go, but I appreciate the thought of each. Didn’t try any oolong, but a nice bunch of options on the menu if I wanted to return.

Te is quite the little gem, and I’m glad it’s still hidden because upon entering you’ll experience the truly artisanal, quality food and Oolong tea that I’m not sure I want the rest of the world to know about.
Alas, I can’t be selfish and contain my excitement for this place.
From the clean, yet warm interior design, the hospitable service, the selection, and especially to the owners of this business, I can’t express how much I appreciate this place.
Granted there are many tea shops/​cafes in the area, but none come close to the authenticity and specialty in Oolong (a tea usually from Taiwan that’s in between green and black with a wide long spectrum of flavors and benefits.) After speaking with Elena, the owner, who has an amazing aesthetic, I discovered she sources the tea herself in Taiwan! Like how much more authentic does that get? And Frederico, who creates the delicious bites for the shop, actually is a chef from Spain.
Seriously — when people talk about the bliss tea gives them, they are describing this place.

A lovely, intimate place with excellent tea and food. Everything here is beautiful and artistic — the furnishings, the menu, the tableware, the fresh flowers, the low-​key music — everything.

Té company is simply wonderful.
Their attention to detail is apparent, the staff are warm and welcoming, and the teas are delightful and affordable. It was a great spot to stop at on a Sunday morning and catch up with a couple of friends. :)

Friend of a friend sort of deal with intimacy and expertise in oolong teas beyond wildest imagination. This is truly a special place and one of only a few in all of NYC that keeps my hopes high The City won’t be overrun by mass volume major chains. In the sleepy streets this hidden tea shop is a gem worthy of all the visits you can afford.
Long live Formosa teas…

Elena is a native Taiwanese curator of teas and sells exclusively to high-​end restaurants so it’s a treat to be able to access her specialized teas in an actual brick and mortar that you can come in and sample too before purchasing. Oh the benefits and joys of living in NYC where the best of different cultures are able to showcase their resources and introduce it to new people while creating new experiences! Cheers to Te!

Stumbled upon Te this afternoon post-​brunch. What a perfect little spot tucked away in the West Village!
Very knowledgable staff, cozy not stuffy interior. All teas are of the oolong variety with plenty of options and intensities. Can’t wait to make this a regular stop post-​Brunch!

Such a reasonably priced and cozy place to stop for a pot of tea and a little sweet. Highly recommend it and the ambiance reminds me of Japan, where I live.

I’m a resident of the building and so happy Elena and Frederico moved their little tea room here. They’re truly wonderful and so is their tea. Sitting in one of the nooks with a hot pot of tea is such a relaxing escape from the hustle bustle of the West Village. You can tell how much thoughtfulness they put into every aspect of the space from the beautiful tiny flowered tea cups to the soothing music. I’m just so happy that it’s only a flight of stairs away.

«Té Company showcases premium handcrafted oolong teas, pure and without additives” – so pure in fact that one can taste the delicate flavors while chatting casually with the passionate and enthusiastic Elena and Frederico, who run the tea and food program, respectively. From the intentional design of their teas to the trays and beautifully crafted teapots, Té Company is truly the place to be for relaxation, for an escape.
We’ll be coming back for the oolong teas, the cold brew, the tortilla and the generous hospitality. As I speak, my girlfriend and I are already planning our next visit.

Who knew there was a designation for Taiwanese oolong tea in the w. Vill? This place is really cute inside.
I ordered a pot of the Graceful Hill oolong and enjoyed a pineapple linzer cookie. I was hoping for a pastry, since I’m more of a chocolate lover. But this was so delightful! I sat by the window and enjoyed this elegant tea and salty flaky deliciousness of a cookie. I’ll be back!
