Cute store, fast, and satisfying flavors. No doubt that there are better places for bubble tea, but this is the most convenient.

Free bobas. Good price but I think they don’t use very natural ingredients. My stomach hurt after I had Taro bubble tea since I mostly eat healthy food!

since this shop is near my school and my after school places, I visit often when I crave for bubble tea. However, the many times I’ve been here I feel that the flavor in the Milk Tea products themselves are lacking. Especially when the regular milk tea which was pretty watered down a few times I ordered it. At first I thought it was because the ice melted and watered it down and after I place an order without ice and it was still pretty watered down, I learned this wasn’t the place for the regular milk tea so I sway to the flavored teas instead(passion fruit green tea of mango green tea). They also charge extra for bubbles(which I don’t think other vivi stores do? Correct me if I’m wrong) and i wouldn’t mind if the bubbles were great but they’re nothing except chewy. The good thing is the choco berry bubble tea! My friend suggested it to me and I really like the crunchy toppings mixed with tapioca.

My mind is blown. The black tea that they use here and that I taste at so many other places is actually EARLGREY. Say whaaaat? Vivi is obviously a chain and they have a bajillion other locations elsewhere, but this one was close to my gym and at a convenient location in Chelsea so I quenched my thirst and my bubble tea craving and decided to pick up a cup of regular black milk bubble tea. $ 3.81 including tax — I feel like I can get this stuff cheaper at other shops, albeit in Chinatown. You pay for convenience. Vivi is pretty much a monopoly in this part of town. What blew my mind was the following: I asked the cashier if they had oolong tea. She had no idea what oolong tea was and had to ask someone. Then I was like, oh, you guys have earl grey black tea(after seeing the sample of leaves on the counter and not knowing this was their standard) and she asked the other employee what earl grey was! She thought it was a brand! I mean, its not a real tea shop so I guess I shouldn’t overreact for a tea place’s staff not knowing a thing about tea. The tea itself was actually quite delicious and not too sweet even though it was at full sugar levels. What was really lacking was flavor in the tapioca. It was literally just texture, nothing else. Not soaked in honey and not the slightly bit of sweet. Bummer. Vivi is okay if you’re absolutely craving bubble tea and can’t get it anywhere else without getting on a train.

I have this a one star because I ordered Cappuccino flavored bubble tea which tasted yuck! And they won’t even change it. I tried the tea while still in the store, it was so strong. After taking a sip I asked if I can add a flavor to lighten up the strong taste, they refused, than as a dissatisfied customer I asked if I can change it, mind you still literally standing there! They still refused! I mean it’s just tea. I Should’ve stuck with taro, but whatever happened to customer service. I won’t ever go back here because they’re not very accommodating. High dissatisfied! So unless YOUDEFINITELYKNOWWHATYOULIKE, don’t try anything new because they won’t change it!

Finally a boba place in NYC that doesn’t have leftover or frozen boba from yesteryear. Other places to take note, it’s really not that hard.

MATCHAMILKTEA I’ve never had anything like this before. I’ve had matcha flavored things at home in San Francisco but nothing quite like Vivi’s. You really get that green tea flavor from this. It’s very refreshing. I’d come back for this whenever I’m around.

What can I say? NYC knows how to do Bubble Tea! Another joint, this one located in Chelsea, that didn’t disappoint.

I’ve come here multiple times because I’m a dedicated Vivi supporter but my typical order: Red Moo Milk is actually not made very well here. Particularly the boboa which lacks all flavor. I get my passion fruit bubble teas here however and don’t really plan on changing that. I really like it. Great people watching counters.

Super busy from such a small little shop. They got the orders in quickly, and my bubble tea was very yummy. I ordered a large passion fruit tea, iced, with aloe and herbed jelly. Slightly tart, slightly sweet – perfect. Not a lot of seating though, it’s really better for just a grab and go.

Too early for your nonsense… Please try back later once I’ve had my bubbles… I expected better from you Vivi! There’s vivi bubbles everywhere in NYC… their bubble tea can be in the form of a fizzy tea… or in the form of milk tea which is infused with natural flavoring such as taro… chocolate…mango…kumquat… etc… their«pearls» or basically sweetened small black tapioca balls are added… which sometimes float hence the term bubbles! they are chewy and sweet and compliment the infused tea very well… but their bubbles are a hit and miss… sometimes its great… and sometimes its the mushy’s tapioca i ever had… lots of different flavors to choose from… there’s always a line!

Vivi Bubble Tea is one of many throughout New York City. I was surprised by the milk tea here. I’m from New Orleans where bubble tea houses aren’t up to par with those of New York or San Francisco. I went with my friend Aaron M. and I also have the problem of not enjoying a drink that is overpoweringly sweet. I knew I wanted to try bubble tea in New York City so I sought out Vivi Bubble Tea. I ordered the taro milk tea and I was pleasantly surprised by the simple taste of the drink with Taro being the core flavor. Though not as good as what I’ve had in California, this place was the best I tried in New York(feel free to message me if you find better!) Vivi is reasonably priced and the product they sell is well worth the purchase. Check them out when you want Bubble Tea! FYI: Visa or Mastercard only

I have always heard great things about Vivi and so I finally went to try it out. The first time I had a strawberry milk tea, something not on the menu but can be made with strawberry tea and milk. It was a bit string but I liked it. The second time I went the women at the counter said that she couldn’t make that, which was annoying to me. i tried the strawberry tea alone and it was gross. My friends like the green milk tea

I really liked this Bubble Tea! They use actual tea, not powder, and the bubbles tasted fresh. One of the things I don’t like about bubble tea is that it often comes out waaaaaaay too sweet; definitely not the case here. The coconut one I ordered had subtle hints of coconut while providing cool, smooth refreshment. The girl behind the counter was super nice, and the place is right down the street from where I stay in NYC. If you want a bubble tea, definitely stop by a Vivi while in NYC!

Great, fast service with smiles and an apology when the cashier misheard my order. I ordered the strawberry yakult with tapioca, and my brother a chocolate milk tea with tapioca. They were very delicious! The drinks were very sweet by default, just the way I personally like it, but it’s definitely a note to keep in mind for those with less of a sweet tooth, but you can adjust the sugar level if you ask them. I hope to try their food next time!

I’m giving this ViVi five stars because, compared to some of the other locations I’ve frequented, this location always has consistent flavor regarding the amount of sweetness/tartness in a beverage. They also put enough boba in the cup that I still have some balls left on the bottom as I finish the drink. The sushi rolls are decent. Service is quick and friendly. My favorite tea flavors are strawberry, taro and passionfruit.

Decent boba spot! They offer the basics plus some fun flavors like Tiramisu Milk Tea! Service was fast, they had 4 baristas holding down the place.

Passed by this place as I was strolling through Chelsea. Very small stop & go type of shop, not too much room to sit & chat. I wanted the roast milk tea but they ran out so I ended up ordering the«3Q» which is black milk tea with tapioca, pudding, & herbal jelly. Overall it was good, nothing too special. I like my milk tea very strong & not sugary and it wasn’t too sweet without me having to ask for less sugar which I liked. Like most places, you can adjust sugar and ice level but I always like to try the original first. In addition, I also saw that they offer food options such as dumplings, sushi, ramen, etc.
