I hardly give five stars to sports bar because the food, service, and atmosphere are usually decent but not exceptional. Woodrow’s definitely deserves a visit for their excellent service. We sat at the end of the bar. There were several flat screens playing the Argentina v Venezuela game.
We quickly read their solid beer list and ordered. Willie had Great South Bay Blood Orange Pale Ale from Long Island and I had the Radiant Pig Junior IPA from New York. After pouring out libations, the bartender took our food order. Willie had the stuffed Burger and I had the Angry Stuffed Burger. The bun was delicious. It was crunchy, soft, chewy, with just intensely rich flavor that didn’t get soggy. The burger was cooked a medium with slight amount of pink. The sirloin patty was unevenly stuffed with jalapeños and onions. In my opinion, it didn’t need to be stuffed because the toppings would have been fine as a topping. There was thick layer of melted mozzarella cheese. On the side was onion, iceberg lettuce and tomato. I found that the burger was delicious and filling. The Cajun fries were Housemade making them crispy and starchy inside. The seasoning was a bit intense but very tasty. Also with a Unilocal checkin you get a free basket of their housemade chips.
Bartender was attentive and made sure we were properly accommodated.
They have a painting and pints type thing going on in the back.

Pretty much the best place ever. And I hate everything. Literally. But literally, the best literally. Seriously.
But seriously, the burger was ridiculous. As drunk as I am, I’m going to hunt down my grandmother and slap her in the face for making such a sub-​par plate. She deserves it for cooking g such a shitty burger.

Walking in trying to make my way over beards of suits I found a helpful lady. She lets us know it might be a few for seats but we ended up getting a huge table. The waiter walked by us in ignorance until I had to let someone know at the front we hadn’t been helped. BUT we did get a great deal burger fries and a sangria for $ 10…and at the end our waiter asked us for a round on the house for a wait. Hellz yeah! Our experience was over all great

This bar was just OK. «All day happy hour» really means no happy hour at all, but decent prices, especially for the area. When I was here for a group event, I ordered a «non-​happy hour» cider and it was lukewarm, which kind of sucked. It wasn’t too crowded, which is a plus, and it’s a respectable amount of space with attentive waitstaff. I didn’t have any food, so I can’t speak for that, but someone else in the group ordered chips and those went pretty fast, so I assume they were tasty. Overall, not a bad spot for a group happy hour in this neighborhood, but personally I’m going to look elsewhere next time.

Three friends and I needed beer and food. Delicious burgers, beer and fries for $ 10. Connie was friendly and accommodating. Great place to relax and enjoy pub grub. And with 29 draft beers, can’t go wrong!

Good place to get lunch for a reasonable price in Tribeca.

My favorite bar around work. Great service! Lovely quiet tables in the back make it easy to sit and have a conversation. Some appetizers are good (home made chips, Thai shrimp appetizer).

Came here on two different Saturday nights for paint night. We had wings and things. It was aight! Lol! The onion rings were nice and crunchy, the BBQ wings were good and if you check in you get some free baked chips. All in all a good time.

My gf and I went here after visiting One World Observatory. It was on a Sunday morning and it was dead in here when we arrived. Throughout the meal more people began showing up.
I had a Bloody Mary and I don’t quite remember how it tasted, (which means to me that it was just a standard Bloody). We order the buffalo chicken dip as an appetizer and it was amazing. It was a large portion and it was swimming in buffalo sauce served with tortilla and pita chips. I had the Angry Burger as my meal which was another great pick. The Cajun fries and spicy ketchup were awesome. I would definitely recommend stopping in here if you get a chance. I’ll probably go back to try something new since their menu is huge and it’s hard to decide on one thing!

Great spot! Cozy atmosphere, great drinks, awesome food! They also have really good deals, such as their brunch menu and beer flight: 3 (7 oz) beers for $ 9.

Great place to grab a bite or drink after work. I ordered the peach margarita which was pretty good$ 5/​$ 8. Too much ice though. The service was great. we had Sam & she did an amazing job. So kind!
As an appetizer, I had the Thai shrimp. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! Soooo good!

It’s a good spot to catch up with friends and grab a drink. We sat in the back, which was nice because it was quiet enough to hold a conversation. The wait staff seemed slightly confused about the beer menu at times and weren’t super on the ball about making recommendations. The calamari is decent and the hummus plate is kinda meh (hummus seemed rather flavorless and dry) and was way over priced. Would come back for the beer.

Post-​tower tour, and needed a little mid-​afternoon noshing and beer. Mostly the beer, and we stumbled upon Woodrow’s.
It had a decent beer selection and good munchies. Was a great place to spend a couple of hours with friends on a Saturday afternoon.

Egg Woodrows is scrumptious. poached eggs are perfectly cooked and hollandaise sauce is just a tad sweet… delicious! Great brunch spot.

The beer selection was great and they even have an 8oz flight deal for the same price as a beer! (not including the good ones though.) And get the chips! Spicy BBQ chips they make in house! (and they’re free)
The bar is in an old building and has a lot of the character left which is pretty cool. It’s a nice pub on a cold day. The drinks are solid but the service is pretty awful. It took over 10 minutes to order and the same to get the check — while we were sitting at the bar?! The bartender was completely oblivious, very nice, but clearly in her own world.

The atmosphere was laid back and warm. My cousin and I had the burger special with fries and sangria for $ 10. She had the black bean burger because she is vegetarian for $ 2 extra and she said it was delicious! We loved the fried pickle spears which were $ 8. They were crunchy and amazing!!! Great hospitality! Where can you get an 8oz burger, fries, AND a drink for $ 10?!

Service is good once you start communication. When we went there was only one employee but she was fantastic. Got our orders in and it quickly and kept the drinks coming! Nice atmosphere too. A true pub.

This is a good little bar/​pub/​restaurant close to work. We usually like to go, sit at the bar and have a $ 10 burger/​beer special. You get a burger (duh) with a choice of Miller Lite or sangria. Friend’s who’ve had the sangria say it’s actually really good! Adding cheese is just a dollar and i’ve substituted the fries for sweet potato, truffle parmesan or cajun. Can’t go wrong at Woodrow’s, it’s been fun the last 2 weeks while it’s dead in the office.

Great place we stumbled on this on quick trip to the city. Most of us had special burger and beer or sangria or beer with fries for $ 10 was very good. Some upgraded to black bean burger which was good but a tad spicey. Overall good atmosphere, pleasant staff. Seating is tight but expected for NYC.

I had jury duty at the courts nearby and wanted a place to grab a burger and a beer. This place is close to all the courts (~10 minute walk), is a welcome respite from the austere depression of the courthouse, and is a solid value for your money. $ 10 gets you a burger, salad or fries, and a Miller Lite or glass of red sangria. I had burger/​salad/​sangria, and for $ 10, it was great. Since a value meal at McDonald’s will basically cost you between $ 6 and $ 9, this lunch special with an actual hamburger, a decent salad, and an alcoholic beverage is so much more bang for your buck. In six years when I have jury duty again in 2021, I will definitely be back for lunch. Might even come back before then. Great deal.

Great happy hour place after a long day in the office.
During HH, $ 10 will get you a beer, fries and a burger. That’s a steal in this part of town.

This place was very interesting. Kind of a low key bar that fit perfectly into the area.
I came here to meet someone and we shared the calamari and had a few beers together. The calamari was cooked perfectly. No complaints on that.
The beer was reasonably priced considering the area. The staff was also very nice. Although the place is a little out of the way for me I’d still come here.

Cute little bar with good prices but the food was really disappointing. The black bean burger was essentially a pile of mush and the service was so/​so. We went on the same night they had a painting activity so I think maybe the waitress was overwhelmed. Seems like a good place for drinks but not if you’re looking for a satisfying meal.

This is your standard pub-​type atmosphere with great drink deals, and I like it!
I needed a place for about 12 co-​workers to have a happy hour so I sent them a quick email and they responded within an hour. The downstairs lounge was taken but the nook area upstairs was great.
Our server was just attentive enough, and we ordered quite a few pitchers (it was pitcher night after all) and some shots. She brought us two dishes of homemade chips when we arrived which was a very nice touch. We had some nachos and fried pickles. The nachos had the cheese sauce (which I love…) but others would have preferred shredded cheese. The fried pickles were fantastic. My tongue is still recovering from the burn lol
I appreciated that the server simply asked for a credit card to open the tab but said she was happy to take as many credit cards as we needed at the end of the night. That’s a relief since that can be a pain with a large group.
I’d definitely stop in again after work!

Ahhhh… felt like home. We were busy being tourists in the financial district and were about to head back uptown, but then we saw sign and had to pull in. See, I used to work at a Woodrows here in Houston, so I couldnt help myself.
When I say it felt like home, what I mean is that there were people in there who were local, regulars, and then there was the crazy drunk lady at the end of the bar entertaining all of the rest of us. There was football on TV and a 7 and 7 in my hand.

This place was fine-​your average beer/​pub I would say. The servers were friendly and very attentive. I got the beef sliders and my friend got a regular burger and both were cooked like they should be and very good. The Cajun fries that my friend got he said were very good, however I was not a fan of the sweet potato fries but I also like the thinner kind and these are very thick.
The reason for only three stars is because as I was finishing up my last slider I noticed there was mold on the bottom of the bun. They did take it off the bill, but after seeing that I didn’t have much of an appetite. I understand that food goes bad and it probably would not of even hurt for me to eat it, but restaurants, especially in Manhattan should be checking their food products.

Not going to hide that i was slightly disappointed. Ordered the steak sandwich, signature stuffed burger, and the buffalo jumbo shrimp. I asked for a medium for the steak sandwich and was cooked to a well done so it was a bit tough. Signature stuffed burger was tasty but the jumbo shrimp was a bit overpriced for the quality and quantity of the order.
A big plus to the restaurant is that the waitresses were extremely kind and attentive. Probably need to go back again to see if the food will be better next time.

Nice little pub just a few small blocks away from the WTC. Seating was pretty limited the night we went, I think tables were sacrificed for the greater good of arts and crafts. Typical pub-​style food, and decent beer selection. Service was pretty slow since the bartender has to come out from behind the counter to cover the tables. All in all, not a bad choice.

I definitely expected more, but should’ve known better, considering they have such low prices in Tribeca.
Staff was very attentive — maybe too much so? Our server came to our table 5 – 6 times within 10 minutes trying to take our order. I’d understand if the place was busy, but we were the only ones at a table! Bar seemed to hold a regular crowd though.
It was pitcher night. $ 15 for 32oz of margaritas seemed like a fantastic deal, but it turned out to be 80% ice, leaving us with barely 1 glass each (for 2 people). Might as well have paid regular price.
We both ordered the Angry Burger, which is what enticed us to try Woodrow’s. Sadly it was very dry. Fries were good, though. Big, potato-​y, and seasoned.
The spot looks a lot nicer than the stuff they serve. Oh well.

Old-​school, friendly, cozy, rustic NYC neighborhood bar. Very unassuming establishment inside and out, and a great place for a casual meetup near the WTC PATH trains (and A/​C trains).
I went for a pint of Smithwicks (Irish Red Ale) and a bowl of chili — classic bar food combo. My pockets, stomach, and spirits were all satisfied. I’d absolutely consider coming back to Woodrow’s if the opportunity strikes!

3.5 for Woodrow! Cool spot to grab lunch and include add alcohol to increase the pleasure. Very modest pub that serves fresh food and favorable customer service.
I didn’t go to 4 or 5 stars because there was nothing extraordinary but I will definitely be back. me lioke!
