History

Established in 1936.

Harry Zarin started Harry Zarin Co. out of a pushcart on the historic Lower East Side in 1936. When the Lowe East Side was the decorating center of the Northeast, Zarin had four locations in this small neighborhood for decorating, fabric, trimmings, drapery hardware and upholstery supplies. Today, the third generation continues the tradition of providing high quality fabrics and decorating services at the Zarin Fabrics three-floor superstore!
