History

Established in 2012.

Founded by entrepreneur, Maria Pineda Dasilva from Connoisseur Consultants. Mrs. Pineda-​Dasilva, saw the need to provide educational services that could offer employment opportunities that met world market skill needs. Connoisseur Institute offer programs that are tri-​lingual and emphasizes the need to learn a second language.

Meet the Business Owner

Maria Pineda-​Dasilva D.

Business Owner

Maria Pineda-​Dasilva grew up in Manhattan. Graduated as a Drama Major from Fiorello H. LaGuardia HS of Music And Performing Arts in 1994. Graduated from SUNY Purchase where she received her Bachelors of Arts in 1998. She double majored in Political Science and Economics. She also studied abroad at Lancaster University in England where she studied Law, Political Science and Economics. She served as Constituent Liaison at Councilman Linares of Upper Manhattan in 1999.

After working at Builder’s Group as Assistant Comptroller in 2001, she continued to work for numerous firms. In 2005, she began working for RPM Development in East Orange, NJ. In 2006, she settled in Newark, NJ after marrying Wanderson Dasilva and giving birth to son, Winston.

It was during this family leave that she began her entrepreneurial career. She formed a construction company, PFHA Contracting, Origami Galleria, Connoisseur Career Centre (Connoisseur Institute) and Connoisseur Consultants.
