I hesitate to write bad reviews, but I had a bad experience at this salon. It all started out great. I don’t remember the stylist’s name, but she did a mineral makeup consultation for me. She was so sweet and I ended up with several things to purchase. I took them to the counter and the receptionist started to ring them up. It was about $ 150. Cathy the owner was at the counter as well. The girl rang all the items but one item I told her the stylist gave me as a free sample. This apparently set Cathy off. She said «NO that should be $ 5 not free», she walked over to the stylist and from across the room I could hear her berating the stylist about giving away makeup. She walked back over and threw it in the bag. I’m not normally a confrontational person, but this was ridiculous, so I said to Cathy «You are very rude and that was not right to do to your employee». She then yelled at me «YOU’RE RUDE! I SELL THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN COSMETICS, WHY WOULD I CARE ABOUT A $ 5 SAMPLE!?» I just shook my head, turned around and left. Well Cathy, apparently a $ 5 sample is worth more to you than keeping a client because I’ll never come back. Hopefully that stylist has moved on to a more professional salon as well, she deserves better.

I have been coming here for about 3 years. I get everything from facials to waxing. Their staff is so friendly. I got some mineral makeup a few months ago. It is AWESOME!

I came by on a whim needing my eyebrows done. I’ve had both threading and waxing with this being the fastest & painless experience EVER! Great customer service & I will definitely be a regular.

Cathy Isaacs is amazing! I Recently received permanent makeup and it looks Fabulous! Could never imagine waking up everyday and looking like I had part of my morning routine already done. Makes me feel wonderful! I was so happy with how they turned out I returned to get my eyeliner done too. In addition I did a dermabrasion and chem peel. Everything is looking better. Just needed a little TLC. Also amazing. I am her customer for life. She is also amazing on basic services like waxing. So nice when you come to her shop. When your in one of the rooms, takes you to completely different place. I love that they don’t forget who you are like a lot of other places. I highly recommend Cosmetic Concepts. You will not be disappointed. You must visit this place!

Just had a wonderful cranberry facial with Michelle. It was very relaxing and all of the staff was very nice. She told me what she used on me and what she recommended for me to buy but she was not pushy at all. The facial I had was the special for the month so it was $ 60 which I think is a great price. I would definitely recommend this place.

You will love any facial that you get here. They have awesome microdermabrasion’s and photo-​facials. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and will make you feel pampered. They also have an amazing makeup and skin care line. Definitely give it a try! You won’t be disappointed!

They’re custom made mineral makeup is amazing! I’ve been using it for seven years and wouldn’t ever use anything else! They put a little rice powder in it to help absorb the oil on my shiny face and it makes a huge difference.
I also used to go there to get my eyelashes dyed and its great! I’m very blonde and sometimes I just don’t want to have to put mascara on and they do a great job. I get a dark brown color that just helps my eyelashes pop a little.
I don’t know about any of their other services.

I’ve been a customer for 15+ years. Prices are very reasonable. Cathy and her staff have always taken good care of me (and my skin). I routinely get waxed and have also added glycolics/​microdermabrasion/​photo treatments to my regimine.

just had the most amazing massage today!!! cant wait to book my next one… the massage therapist was great, the atmosphere was perfect, all i could hear was the music while i drifted away!!!

I always play dumb when I go to a beauty salon and to see how ignorant or dishonest people who work at these so call skin care clinic. When I made the appointment for the «Cry Baby» eye lashes treatment. I have mentioned that I have very sesitives eyes and asked them, if there was any complaint about the product. They said no, if there is any problem, they will remove the product from my eye lashes. When I got there, I was reading a ‘somewhat a consent’ before the treatment. I asked the woman at the desk, should I do the patch test first, since I had very bad allergic reaction to eye lashes glue. She said I did not have to and just circle ‘no’ on the consent.
But when I talked to the actual esthetician who was going to perform the procedure. She said she will applied a small amount of the compound on my eye lashes and see what happen. Well, it stung my eye very bad.
Since they could not make any money on the treatment. She wanted to sell me ‘Ritallash’. I had no problem to try new thing and asked her a little more details on the product. She said the ‘Ritallash’ could last for one year. If I work for the Public health department, I would suspend her license right away. Ritallash only provides one single brush, that means the product will be contaminated after the first use. For example, Latissie, provides tons of single use applicators and it expires in one month. Please do all your research, before buying anything from them. And they mark the product very high compares to online price. I will not recommend anyone to go this skin care clinic and I am a Registered Nurse.

This place is a hidden gem! Shea is awesome she’s the one that does my photo facial and glycolic peels. great results and fair prices. I will be going to this place for a long time!

So disappointed in the massage I had the other day! When she asked what I wanted I let her know & it was as if she never even asked. She did her own thing. Didn’t do the areas I needed most! Even after talking about it. It was an hour full body massage yet she only did my back & the back of my legs:(didn’t even have me turn over! Never did my neck, arms & barely touched my feet!!! That’s my last massage there. They haven’t been good since their 1 & only good therapist left. Such a let down & I feel a HUGE waste of my money!!!

Purchased Screamin Deals for a VersaSpa spray tan. I made the appointment and went in. When I got there I was told that I needed to have a print up of the voucher. I told the girl at the front desk that I live in OC and not from the area, just there visiting a friend. She found my name on the «Screamin Deals list» they had, I showed her the voucher on my phone. She told me she had to call the Owner, which she did and still required the voucher and that it states it on the coupon. So I double checked the voucher and NO WHERE did it state that you had to have voucher in hand. The girls that worked there were extremely nice and helped me find a place where I could print up the voucher — 15 minutes later and another $ 5, I showed up with voucher in hand. The spray tan was awesome! Girls are super sweet. But the Owner needs to get her sh. straight — if that’s a requirement, then you need to state that on the voucher, and/​or make sure it’s mentioned when making the appointment.

I have had 4 massages there now with Carol. I buy my massages in packages since they are way more affordable. I get the package price so that I have a one hour massage for like $ 40 or $ 50 each. Carol is great. I am a huge wimp and can not take pain at all but Carol can easily measure how much pressure I can handle when she works out my many knots. I always leave relaxed and feel much better.

I’ve bought my mineral makeup here for years. Once in a while I’ll get my brows done here too.
They offer a lot of options and packages for facials and massages– at really good prices.
A few months ago I went to Cathy for a facials and microderm abrasion. And some other stuff — to be honest, I don’t really know what she did as I was kind of zoned out. At one point I do know she told me to move my Blackberry away from my body because I could get electrocuted. That part was space-​age and random, but I loved it and for a few weeks had great skin.
I would totally recommend Cathy and Cosmetic Concepts. If you want a day-​spa-​fluffy-​robe experience, this isn’t it. But if you want to go in, get your brows done, or keep up some skincare régime without cashing out your 401k, this is the place.

I buy my mineral make-​up here and have for years! They custom blend to match my skin tone, and will adjust the formula for winter & summer months. Fantastic price and the product lasts up to 6 months when used correctly. :)

Okay, so I’m a little late on this one but I’ll put it in anyway.
Had a deep tissue massage by Carol here about a year ago and it was AMAZING. Best massage I ever had. If you’re the type (like me) that likes your massages rough and tough, and have someone actually find your knots and KNEAD them out, this woman is the best! She even found knots I didn’t even know I had (and I inspect by back daily) and gently answered all of my questions. I
was practically falling asleep at the end of the massage. The only thing I wish she would have done is actually massage my actual spine more, but I guess that they don’t really do that because you can hurt someone, so the safety precautions are certainly there.
Price is EXCELLENT for the service that is provided and I plan on coming back for more massages as well as trying out some of the treatments (parrafin wrap, body scrubs, the works!).

I’ve only come here for the the eyebrow ‘shaping’ as they call it which is pretty much a wax. I have mixed feelings, but I do still come back here from time to time. I like the fact that they advertise that they’re eyebrow styling maintains the natural shape. I was always too scared to get my eyebrows done thinking that I would go home with a line. They do a nice job and the price is decent — I think its between $ 15 and $ 20 (I can’t exactly remember).
The staff TRIES to be nice. Sometimes I get a little bit of a fake attitude and feel like they really don’t want to help me but they have to to get my money. I am a fan of the place. It’s cute and they even sell their own cosmetics and some accessories. I would suggest trying it out.

I love this little place! They have awesome massage and facial specials. I am always satisfied with my services there and have gone for many years. They also do great eyebrow waxing. Their prices are very reasonable and it’s so convienient. If you sign up to be on their e-​mail mailing list you can really get great deals! I highly reccomend this gem of a place!
