Had the opportunity to deal with Manny at Valencia lighting. Great facility and super helpful. Incredible value and was able to take advantage of sale items also. Availability was prompt and was able to pick up all of my lighting within 10 days. Finally… the selection was amazing!

It is very rare to find a store that has a great selection, reasonable prices and outstanding customer service. Valencia Lighting excels in all three categories. I had ordered a fixture well over a year ago and completely forgot about it. I went to the store and 10 minutes later, they located my fixture. I was also able to find a post light pole that home improvement stores didn’t carry at all. I won’t make that mistake again. Manny was so honest and helpful, he has made a customer for life!

Great lighting store! The. amicable staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable! It’s best to visit the store during the week days (M-​F) when the staff can spend more time with you, answering questions about their lighting selections.

We recently redid a couple bathrooms and wanted some updated lighting. These guys came highly recommended by a friend and decided to go by and see what they had to offer. For years I have driven by and just never have much thought into their building. Going in was the best thing we could have done. Not only is their customer service top notch, their knowledge is just as good. They also match pricing, which for what we purchased it was cheaper through them anyways. For any lighting needs we will DEFINITELY be back. Thank you to Jesse and Manny. Top quality business.

Why go anywhere else? I spent quite a bit of time looking online for the perfect ceiling fans for my home. Little did I know that a local business would have exactly what I was looking for. They have a rather large selection and their prices are competitive. The best thing is the customer service. Manny and Jesse helped me select the right fans for my taste. No high-​pressure sales. In fact, they made some recommendations on how to be happy with my selections. For a dining room lighting option, they advised me to wait to buy my dining room set first before choosing a chandelier. So, you know they’re not out to make a quick sale. They want you happy and satisfied with your purchase. Jesse installed all 4 of our ceiling fans and did an awesome job. I will not go anywhere else for fan and lighting options!

Jesse and Ky were a big help in selecting lights for the front of the house. They know their inventory and products. I recommend anyone wanting to find good quality lighting come here. They treat you right. Great customer service.

I walked into Valencia Lighting and Design this afternoon carrying one of those retro black metal can uplights that sits on the floor. I love this light — it’s old and wasn’t working and it’s worthless compared to the light fixtures for sale in this store — but it has major sentimental value to me, plus which they don’t make them like this anymore. First choice was to get it repaired if possible — I was hoping the store could at least steer me in the direction of someone who could maybe repair it if I didn’t find anything for sale there that was similar.
The store has a ton of different lights of all types and for all uses — a really nice selection but I was focused on just that certain type of light. I didn’t see anything remotely like it so I walked up to the counter — showed this light to Manny (found out later on Unilocal that he is the owner) and told him it had been intermittently working for months and finally stopped working altogether. I asked if he knew of a repair shop that could look at this light for me. He took a quick look and instantly said he thought the on/​off switch was probably loose (one of those on/​off switches that’s like a little wheel in the middle of the cord) and said chances were good to have the light working again with no problem.
He asked if I had ever opened up the switch. I said no — and he said he would open it up and secure it back together the way it should be — and that there would be no charge whether it worked or not — but he thought it was going to work for sure. He immediately grabbed a little screwdriver, opened up the two halves of the switch, made sure it was clamping down on the wires the way it was supposed to — closed/​tightened it back up, screwed in a light bulb and took it over to an outlet to plug the light in, all the time smiling and saying he was thinking that fixing the switch would get the light to work again.
Yeah, when he plugged it in — INSTANT LIGHT ! — and instant grin on my face, like ear to ear. Manny seemed stoked (for me) that it was working — definitely could tell how much I wanted it back. I absolutely couldn’t believe he instantly knew what was wrong, how fast he fixed it, how nice he was to me. He said the switch could even be replaced if needed, also cautioned me to be sure to keep dust out of it and not to put anything on top of it to avoid fires.
I would’ve paid a decent amount and/​or driven a long distance to have this certain light working again — to have it happen with no charge and so close to home and to be treated so kindly with what could really be considered a piece of junk was a bonus for sure.
I am so very happy about having this old light back tonight after I thought it was broken for good. We don’t need more lights or fans right now but I would return to this store in a second if we do — such a good first impression. Manny wrote a comment to one of the other reviews saying that they want to provide old fashioned world-​class service — he did for me this afternoon, no question, and I really appreciate this so much.

Awesome customer service. Jesse was great and super helpful. I decided to go ahead and buy some ceiling fans since our electric bill was pretty high last summer. I was pretty much new to the ceiling fan world, but Jesse helped us right from the start and was awesome about answering all my questions.
We initially bought 7 fans but after I installed the first fan my wife wasn’t happy so we went ahead and decided to change the order on the remaining fans. Valencia lighting was super accomodating with our order change and we were able to select different can’t fans.
I also installed a 4 speed control switch on the wall and it shorted out after I installed it. I came in explaining what happened and Jesse went ahead and replaced the switch.
Can’t say enough great things about the store. And the prices are awesome as well!

Very clear why they have 5 stars! Too long of a story but I ordered lamps that in the few weeks between order and pickup it turned out I didn’t need. I planned to just take and give away or sell… but the owner offered to return them no problem, he offered, I never asked. What a guy!
I will always do my lamp, fixture shopping at Valencia lighting!

I have been hearing about this place for years and finally decided to give it a try. It’s a little overwhelming with all the choices, but I am so happy I did! Manny was so helpful. He gave me some suggestions and and showed me all my options available. They have lights in every price range and their prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be back again!

We wanted to find a good fixture for our guest bathroom as it is being remodeled now. I read reviews of this store and paid a visit. We saw tons of different types of fixtures and lights which we would have never found at other stores. Compared to shitty stuff you find at Lowes and Home Depot, this place is a mecca for lighting shoppers. The staff was very nice. WE found a fixture for $ 59 on clearance and it was originally prized $ 149 or something. They have their own parking lot too on the left side.

This is my second 5 stars review for this place. I went back to this store after buying 5 ceiling fans and a light fixture for our dining room. This time I got light fixtures for the front porch and back yard. Manny was so kind and I was able to test a few samples before buying my final choice. That was definitely so helpful!
I absolutely love this place.
This was my 3^rd visit and will go back soon for more light fixtures I still need.

My wife cant stop talking about this place! Very good service, friendly staff and a great selection. Prices were better than most places we checked out. We have more lighting needs and as far as I am concerned Valencia Lighting is our one stop shop.

Frustrated with the minimal offerings we were finding at the local box stores, we discovered Valencia Lighting & Design with an internet search for lighting businesses in the Santa Clarita area. We’re glad we did.
This store is full to the rafters with just about any light, indoor or outdoor, that you could ever need. There’s a huge selection. The people working there clearly enjoy their jobs and have a wealth of knowledge that they gladly share with anyone needing it.
This is a local, mom and pop business owned by a friendly, hardworking man named Manny. I prefer to use local businesses when I can because the money I spend stays in my own community addressing our communities needs. In addition to that, your money supports deserving local businesses, most of whom are struggling in a tough economy.
In addition to a great selection, my wife and I were amazed that being a lighting specialty store, VL&D’s prices were so reasonable.
VL&D allows you to take home the lights you might be interested in so that you can hold them up (we were searching for porch lights) to see if it’s going to work for you. More surprising than that, they do not require a deposit or any other security to make sure you’ll return with their products. That’s a level of trust I haven’t seen since I was a kid (and that’s been a few years…).
Our sales guy was Jesse. He’s been working at VL&D for around 10 years. He has a wealth of knowledge and his guidance made our selection way easier than it would have been otherwise.
I highly recommend VL&D for all your lighting needs, you won’t be disappointed.

Great experience. We bought under-​the-​counter LED lighting for our new kitchen. Price and the product were better than the big box stores. Fantastic customer service. We will certainly buy from them again.
