Benefit Make Up Counter

This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. As a loyal Benefit customer for 5 years I have never been treated this rudely. I went in to get my eyebrows done as a drop in and one employee said she could fit me in, as she’s about to begin, another employee Laura, condescendingly told us we would have to wait a half hour because another customer who «actually purchashed product» would have to be done first. Never have I been treated with such unprofessionalism, I will not be returning.

They really do an amazing job here! I’m not a big makeup person and I hate wearing foundation, but I need to. So I first met up with Carissa and she was amazing! She showed me a tea tree oil foundation that I use everyday! I recently went in because I felt like the foundation was making me look sick, but it was really helping my skin. So when I went in and told her what was going on, she showed me the Hello Flawless Foundation and I LOVE IT! The color is perfect and I don’t feel like I’m wearing foundation and I don’t look like I’m wearing any! The girls here do an amazing job!

All of the girls at this counter are great with makeup. I personally don’t like wearing much and they listen when I say «go light». Harmony is so friendly and is one of the reasons that I continue to come back. She got me hooked on the lemonade eye primer! Their brow bar is also the best place in town to go. They use wax and tweeze, and leave some shape to your brows so it does not look like you sharpied them in.

I’m writing to review the Benefit counter at Macy’s at Fashion Island. I was out running some errands one day and needed to get an eyebrow wax and saw that they had a brow bar. I saw Ari and she did the best job I ever had. Not only did my eyebrows look fabulous but she was one of the sweetest, nicest people I have ever met. I get to see her now every week and a half to two weeks and I look forward to it, like a lunch date with a girlfriend. During my time I’ve been going there I’ve gotten to know the other girls at the counter. They are always so helpful going over new products with me during my touch up or explaining how to use the products. The products are amazing and Benefit is one of my favorite lines. I highly recommend checking them out, you won’t be disappointed!
