Established in 2013.

We started business in this location in 2013. In November of 2014 we rebranded ourselves to become know as Newport Beach Skin Care Center. Same owners, same wonderful clinical Aestheticians and permanent make-​up artist. We pride ourselves on being specialists in serious skincare, helping our clients achieve serious results. All the while pampering them in the process. We feature quality medical grade skincare product lines and use a 3D Skin Analysis System to see below the surface dermis to assess the damage and issues currently making their way to your skin’s surface. Our goal is to stop, slow down or reverse this damage before it’s too late. Our Medical Director provides wonderful non-​invasive procedures to help you maintain that youthful look. As well we feature various laser treatments and body sculpting techniques to help our clients turn their dreams into reality.

I had a great experience here. I came in initially for an IPl facial however, Nancy RN explained to me it was not the best treatment for my issue. She instead recommend the genesis laser and explained in detail why it was the recommend treatment for my facial issue. She and the other nurse kept checking in during the treatment to ensure I was comfortable. Overall I was very happy when I left. I can already see a slight improvement and look forward to my next visit.

I made a mistake by coming here. I took a hundred dollar bill and threw it away. I got nothing in return for paying them my money, no results at all and when I brought this to their attention, they didn’t care at all. This place obviously doesn’t care about their patients or their reputation, only about getting your money. First and last time I’ll come here.

They are horrible. And all lies about the all services they have do not ever try to go there they are the big lier ever they just need money
They just gave me appointments in Newport Beach office and they didn’t even had the ultra shape here they just keep moving that from sandiego office to here and moving my appointments it took 3 months till I get my first treatment and I was trying to get my money back but they didn’t and keep calling me to keep me there. And they told me they gonna give me free package for my love handles and after I finish my whole treatment they said no we r not gona able to do it. They are totally
Ripe off. DO NOT GO TO TNIS PLACE AT ALL.

This place is so nice! From the décor to the staff, all great! I got the spider vein removal, and instead of doing a time limit, they do the removal by size of area. I know I should of called first to inquire, but I guess I assumed everyone sold this package by time slots, not size of area. I ended up spending way more money than I thought I would of, just to get everything taken of since I was already there.
I really liked this place, but was kind of disappointed in how the packages are set up.
Very nice place overall though!

I’ve known Melissa for some time now and she is hands down amazing! She has not only helped me skin but is very knowledgable when it comes to skin care. For those who needs a facial/​extractions, you must see her. I can honestly say I walk out a better person and she is the most genuine yet joyful individual I have ever met. Also, it was my first time at Newport Beach Skin Care and I had a very pleasant experience with the front desk staff. Exceptional customer service and reasonably pricing!

I am a firm believer that skin is the foundation of a beautiful face and everyone’s skin deserves TLC. This is where Newport Beach Skin Care Center comes in. I followed my esthetician, Melissa, to this center and I absolutely love it. The place is gorgeous, well-​kept and has a the MOST relaxing ambiance. As soon as you walk in, you know you’re in for a treat :)
Now on to the important part– The services. Melissa is amazing!!! She really takes her time to deliver the best treatments! If you’re unsure about what your skin needs, feel free to ask her. She is so happy to make the right recommendations and she is so noticeably knowledgeable and experienced. I wanted to treat my acne and scarring so for my first session at NB Skin Care Center she recommended a facial and micro. My experience was SO relaxing and most importantly– SO effective. Also I love that she is happy to let you know exactly what she is doing and why it is beneficial for your skin.

I am surprised the reviews don’t match my experience– especially in such a nice area.
I booked this appointment bcs a friend told me the esthetician is her friend. Come to find out, the esthetician quit, which I didn’t discover until I was there ready for my facial. I wanted to try this girl bcs she looked my age and my last facial was done by someone younger and I didn’t feel confident in their assessment of my skin.
While there, they had no cover up for me to wrap myself with and their microdermabrasion machine didn’t work (and I wanted microdermabrasion). The girl offered me a «water» treatment which she said would use water and suction and more or less do the same thing as microdermabrasion. It didn’t. The suction wasn’t working at all– and she knew it. The kicker for me, came when she applied their LED light stim. I’ve had it done before– and it’s a machine the size of a college textbook that opens up like a book and is placed hovering closely over your face. It goes through like 4 different lights that help w acne bacteria wrinkles collagen etc. What this business has, is a stick that looks like a clairsonic hand held brush that she moved around my face for like 5 minutes max. Normally with the other machine, you get like 15 minutes and your skin looks brand new and it’s the only other reason I booked at this place. I was specific in asking if they had this service available bcs that was the deciding factor. And well, yes I guess technically they do offer it and have it available but anyone who knows the difference would be just as disappointed as I am. I left thinking that I was too picky, but after thinking about it and giving myself a week to notice the difference in my skin from the facial, I have to say, it was not a good facial at all. I left there w red skin and didn’t get anything I was looking for when I booked the appointment.
Total waste of my time, miles, and money.

My first introduction to Newport Beach Skin Care Center was when I called for an appointment and spoke to Mari. She was polite, professional and warm. I knew this might be a great place to go and was excited for my appointment on Friday. I love the location as it is so close to my home. When entering the reception area it was pretty and inviting. I filled out a little bit of paperwork and was immediately greeted by Fernanda. The wonderful sensory smells and music along with her gentle touch and strong hands almost put me to sleep! She was engaging and excellent. We discussed some other future options which I plan on doing and am thrilled with my results. I like their approach. There was no up sell at all. Just a respectful, calm experience with a caring feel. I liked that they emailed and texted me my appointment reminder and that the customer service was excellent. This is going to be my place to go for all my skin care needs.

Hands down the BEST facial Ive ever had.
When you walk into the Newport Beach Skincare Center, you cant help but notice the cleanliness and pretty décor. This is HUGE for me because it’s very telling of how clean the treatment rooms are. Its beautiful!
Fernanda gave me a facial & also did Dermaplaining on my skin (she took a small razor and sloughed away dead skin, hair and sun spots!!!). I was BLOWN AWAY with the results. It was completely painless and super relaxing. She is a wealth of knowledge & had so many helpful tips on how to take care of my skin. The results I received were incredible and I am dying to get in there again soon for MORE results, amazing service & complete relaxation.
Oh, and the receptionist was fantastic. Checked me in quickly, made me feel like family & left me with a smile on my face :)
I will ONLY go to Fernanda at Newport Beach Skincare Center from now on!!!

I took advantage of a Groupon that your company was promoting, but anyone that uses Groupon knows that you tip on the full amount of the service. So yes, I have paid over $ 600. I’m not sure what «VERY steep discount» you refer to but my ‘mandatory’ 30-​day touch-​up should have been free. What distresses me the most is that you and I had a face-​to-​face conversation and you saw the terrible job that Merry had done on both my brows and eyeliner. But instead of standing behind your «wonderful permanent makeup artist’s» work and remedying the situation, you forced me to pay additional money to have Soudy fix the mess that your other employee had caused.
There were so many mistakes made by both of the aestheticians, and on permanent makeup no less, and terribly poor customer service choices made by the business owner. I now spend twice as much time in the morning trying to even out my brows. I can only speak about their abilities and products when it comes to permanent makeup, but it’s clear that the ONLY concern that the owner of this salon has is the bottom line, not the customer’s satisfaction or wellbeing. Again, BUYER BEWARE!!!

I heard about this place from Instagram and decided to give it a try. I had been breaking out in stress pimples and I was definitely overdue for a facial.
I originally scheduled a microdermabrasion but after my consultation with Paulene, we decided dermaplaning was the better alternative for my sensitive skin.
I loved the consultation! Paulene took a few up-​close pictures of my face and analyzed my skin with me on the monitor. She was able to pinpoint areas of dryness and sun damage and better able to assess the underlying problems with my skin. The different heat sensor images really show you how bad the sun is for your skin!
The dermaplaning was painless and left my face feeling revived and fresh. There was a bit of redness from extractions but that was expected. After my facial, Paulene gave me the best shoulder and neck massage while I laid there with a cold towel over my face.
I’d definitely recommend coming here for all your skincare needs! New clients get 15% off!

I was overdue for a facial and decided to give this place a try because they have a promotion. And I was so happy I did! The office is nicely decorated, clean and very friendly.
My Dermaplaning facial was done by Pauline, and she is truly an AMAZING Aesthetician who is very knowledgeable, gentle, professional and very down to earth. After the facial, my skin is now refreshed, clean, rejuvenated, hydrated, glowing and just simply youthful looking. I’m very happy with the service and would recommend Pauline and this spa to my friends and family. Thanks again, Pauline!

I had been meaning to try this place because I see it every time I go pick up my dog from the groomers in the same center. Yesterday I finally decided to pop in and see if they had any time before I take my engagement photos on Saturday. It ended up working out perfectly because Soudy had time to take me an hour later.
She began the facial session by taking pictures of my skin. No facialist had ever done that before. It was impressive how she could show me everything from sun damage to segments of my skin that had larger pores and such. From there, she led me into another room to begin my facial. I have to say I felt very pampered and very clean. The entire experience was really nice for me to unwind and recharge. The entire time, Soudy was very kind and very knowledgeable about skincare. She gave me a lot to think about before I walk down the aisle in August! I might have to come back in and let her fix me up some more.
For my first experience here, I can’t rave enough about it. Soudy was fabulous and very kind. I will definitely recommend her and this skin care center to my friends and family. My skin looks great and I feel great! Thank you again!

I’ve seen Fernanda Heckman at Newport Beach Skin Care Center for both a facial and for brow work. Whether it be color, shape or clean up she always does my brows PERFECTLY. I’ve never found anyone I’ve been happy with in the brow department, until her. As far as facials go, she’s amazing! She’s so gifted at what she does: she provides a calm and relaxing environment and is so knowledgeable about the products she carries and is honest about what you need. My skin is always glowing for days after I see her. I grew up in the spa business and like to think I know a good facial/​massage/​treatment when I get one… And hers are the some of the best!
As for the facility itself: the office is clean and bright and everyone I’ve had the pleasure of running into is so nice and helpful. Newport Beach Skin Care is, overall, highly recommended!

Last Saturday I just got my second Botinol Facial treatment at Newport Beach Skin Care Center and I loved it. I always get it, before I go to a special event. The process is so unique, so I asked the esthetatician to take some pics. This is actually very relaxing facial despite of what it seems to be! I would diffidently recommend it to anyone who’s looking for an instant change on their skin.

I got a gift certificate for Christmas to go here for a microdermabrasion and facial. I’ve never had a facial before but often wanted to lately which resulted in my gift. I knew about this place from walking by it after having coffee nearby.
The staff was really nice and a clean store front. My services were provided by soudie. She was professional and seemingly knowledgeable of the services she was about to provide. My only concern was that because I’ve never done this before, a conversation should have been had in regards to what I should do. IE: taking off my shirt etc. no biggie though.
It’s hard to describe what takes place but the end result was very good. I felt relaxed and the microdermabrasion facial left my skin flawless, hydrated and noticeably more youthful looking. Soudie was gentle and gave me skin tips as the services were provided. I end up buying hydrating cream on my way out. I’ll be back. Very good job.
