Although the job I wanted quoted was beyond the scope of what this company does, Steve was very responsive to get back to me requesting pictures, and quick to get back to me recommending someone who was more suited to do what I wanted.

The Eskimo is amazing, he exceeded my expectations. He is truly a world class individual and marksman at his craft. I am very happy and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs his services. He is mobile as well and text friendly. He is so amazing! I am very happy!

He’s amazing! I called Friday for a quote and text him pictures of my scratched car. He quoted me and said he could come out the next day. He was there on time, came to my house, was done in about 30min. Nice & honest guy! My car looked so bad and embarrassing before and now it looks so much better! Would definitely recommend

Made the appointment with Steve a week ago and he showed up on time. Took him about 40 minutes to fix up my bumpers. You can still see the knicks with the rough edges if you look up close, but it looks 90 to 95% better than what it looked like before. He also buffed out a few spots for me, which look much better. It won’t look brand new but it looks much better than before. Thank you Steve. Very happy!

Service was great! I had a scratch with a small dent that happened when my boyfriend pulled into a car garage poorly. I was really upset about it because it happened to my months old 2015 Kia Optima, so my boyfriend found this guy and a great living social deal for his services. It was very easy to schedule an appointment, and once he was here he finished the job in about 40 minutes! He even spent some time filling in some little chips and scratches around my car. As for the scratch that I was worried about, it looks like it never even happened! I was so happy! Of course, there is still a dent that I’ll have to worry about later, but he did exactly what he promised and more!

Quinn was a pleasure to work with. He was very professional, amiable, and the service he delivered was top-​notch and absolutely worth every penny. Fixed some paint ships on my 2003 Lexus IS300 SportCross which only had 2300 miles on it. Very clean work! He’s a great giy as well.

Looks amazing! Steve did a fantastic job with repairing a paint chip on my car! He went above and beyond by even repairing a few other smaller chips on other areas of my car for the same cost without me even asking — it looks so much better! He also gave me an estimate right away when I emailed him photos of what needed repair (a great price!), and it was very easy and convenient to set up an appointment. And the actual repairs were fast! On top of everything he’s nice, honest and clearly a pro at what he does. Hopefully I will not have to call on him again, but if I do ever need future paint chip repairs — and hey, it’s LA so unfortunately I probably will — he’s the go-​to guy!

Very honest, knowledgeable and fast service. I had a little chip on my passenger side door and he covered it within a couple minutes. Don’t expect the chip to disappear though! It’s just not noticeable when standing within a few feet from the car. He made sure that i understood that it won’t disappear completely but that he will do his best to cover it up. I’m happy with the result. It’s cheaper than a body shop respraying the door. Will do business with again!

For all of you in Southern California who have problems with paint chips on your car, count your lucky stars! I live in nation’s capital, so one might think, «Hey, Jonny V., you’ve probably got some pretty good options for that kind of repair out there,» but they couldn’t be any more mistaken about this.
Quinn the Eskimo is obviously a titan of his field, but not only is he hands-​on (which I can’t ‘speak’ to), but his consulting is top notch, too. He was willing to work with me over the phone (via text), on a holiday, to boot!
He addressed my issues, came through with a clear and easy plan of action, and virtually held my hand to get the job done.
I wish that there were an East Coast equivalent to Steve, but having access to him telephonically is definitely the next best thing!

Steve is the definition of «professional»: timely, pleasant, knows what he is doing, and does it well. I have a BMW. It’s hard to fix scratches and dings that don’t show, but he does as good as job as is possible without having to spend a lot more money at a body shop. And he does it fast.

Very pleased with Steve’s work. He did more than we agreed on up front. Covered up most of the imperfections, chips, scratches, etc. If I hadn’t first applied Dealership touch up paint myself it would look even better. He had to undo my sloppy job first and then he applied his magic. He is a genuinely nice and interesting person. Trying to make a go of it as a sole proprietor so If you like his work remember to tip him. He is very reasonably priced and as I understand it the average car costs about the same or less as getting your car «detailed».

Very professional — did a great job on a hard-​to-​match color. Wasn’t too sure about this kind of service, but afterwards, it was well worth it and did everything promised. We have a few cars and I will definitely be using him again. He was very quick, thorough and amazingly good. Can’t say enough.

Steve did a great job. The one paint chip still shows but it’s not as noticeable. He polished out many fine scratches and cleaned up the fog on the headlights. He also touched up chips on the edges of the doors that I hadn’t noticed. As he told me it’s all about the aesthetics. While I can zero in on specific spots and find defects the overall appearance of the car is much better. He’s currently overbooked and it took over three weeks to get together but it was a pleasant experience and a great professional job.

We exceptionally pleased with the job Steve did for us, removing road chips and several surface scratches from our car, we’ll certainly use him again. He arrived on time and was very professional and personable, and was done in less than hour. Although Dr. Colorchip advertises do it yourself kits I’d recommend using a professional like Steve to get the best results.

Go buy touch up paint at dealer and save yourself $ 100+ dollars. The results don’t justify the additional cost. Scratches still obvious and touch up paint does not match perfectly and applied past the chip/​scratch area. Not impressed with results. Save the money towards professional paint job.

Steve did a fantastic job on my car. I bought my car new and it was bigger than my previous car so I had quite a bit of oopps around the outsides from parallel parking and such and he touched them up all so beautifully that you can barely tell anything was there. He also fixed the rims that had been scratched from parallel parking as well and they look beautiful. I highly recommend Steve for all your car paint touch up needs.

Steve saved me when I had dilemma with a car that wasn’t mine. Scrapped it pretty bad out of a tight parking area (to the metal). Met up with him at a dealership lot and he patched it up really good. Instead of shelling out $ 300 to get two panels repainted at a body shop, it only cost me about $ 50 – 60 with Steve. And the car passed inspection ;) yes!

I recently bought my dream car, a 2008 Aston Martin Vantage, that overall was in excellent condition. However after getting it detailed I was still not happy with the road chips on the front end, spoiler, hood and an occasional one on the fenders or other locations. The dealer told me that I had to live with it since it was a used car, and they recommended either touch up paint or repainting some of the car. Not satisfied with this response I started researching how others in the exotic car market and in the show car market were dealing with this. One issue that came up often was the use of Dr. ColorChip kits. People seemed to have great success with these kits but I was uncomfortable buying a paint kit for such a high end car and sought out someone with expertise to actually apply the kit to practice. Lucky for Me I found Steve (Aka Quinn the Eskimo)!
Not only did he come to my house to do the work but he was excellent. He has a casual but professional attitude and he really understood how important my car was to me and how close to new I wanted to make it. Approximately 2 hours later my car looked magnificent and it was much better than I expected. Touch up paint from the dealer could never accomplish what this impressive technique accomplished.
To be fair if you get up very close to the car and inspect it closely you can still see some of the indentations that are now filled in with paint but from a few feet away they all disappear! I can honestly say its the best money I have spent in years on a product, and a service that really works! After watching the Eskimo work I am confident, even as handy as I am, that I could not have done this quality of work and even if I did have all the supplies (brushes, spreaders, acetone mix etc) it would have taken me forever to get these kind of results. I highly recommend that if you are going to use the Dr. ColorChip system, which is very good, and you live in Southern California, that you hire someone as talented as Steve to do the repair. You wont regret it.

I scraped the hell out of my car backing out of a parking lot one morning before work :-(Being that it was my first car, naturally I panicked LOL All the body shops I consulted suggested I get the entire panel repainted. Um no bueno. I consulted my trustee Unilocal app and found Steve. I texted him some pics of the damage and he said he could make it look much better for about $ 100. Better is the understatement of the century! You can’t tell I scraped the side at all! He came to me and within 30 minutes my car and ego were no longer bruised :-) I HIGHLY recommend his service. (Oh and his dog is absolutely gorgeous).
