History
Established in 2008.
Nana’s Irish Pub is dedicated to my mother, Bridget O’Brien (1927 – 2003). A woman who was Nana to so many. She opened her home with her love of cooking and her generosity and hospitality to all those she met. She was quite a character who would sing a song for you or recite Shakespeare at the drop of a hat.
Nanas Irish Pub is owned and operated by Limerick City native Philomena O’Brien. The family moved back to the United States in 1990 after spending ten years in County Clare, where she and her husband Brian expierenced the pleasure of raising their three children in the Irish countryside.
After moving to the Oregon Coast from the Shenandoah Valley, Virginia, Nana’s Irish Pub became a part of the Nye Beach community of Newport, Oregon in January, 2008.
