We specialize in teaching Ballroom and Latin dancing to adults and kids. Social and competitive programs available.

For adults: We offer group classes and private dance lessons for adults looking to learn social Ballroom dancing, Salsa, International Latin and American Rhythm styles. Check our class schedule on our website for new classes.

For kids: Dance classes for kids (beginners) are held on Tuesdays at 6pm once a week for ages 6 – 12. Private lessons also available. Enroll your child today!

Wedding: We’ll make you and your fiancé look good on the floor. Over the years we helped hundreds of couples learn how to dance and prepare them for their first dance. First lesson is FREE to try.

History

Established in 2011.

Leon is a dedicated professional who studied dance for over 10 years. Specializing in Ballroom, Latin, Salsa, choreography and ballet styles. Leon’s Dance Center was opened with a vision to provide an inviting atmosphere to those seeking to learn or improve their dancing no matter what their goals are.

Business Owner

Leonid «Leon» Turetsky was born in Minsk, Belarus. From an early age, Leon immersed himself in extra-​curricular activites including soccer and martial arts. Then at age 12, looking for a new challenge, he had picked up Latin and Ballroom dancing. Soon Leon was dedicating most of his time to learning this new and exciting dance form. He competed and performed in Canada throughout his junior, youth and adult years.

In 2007, Leon moved to Boston where he opened his own dance studio and now teaches social and competitive Ballroom dancing to adults and kids. His passion is not just to teach, but to coach and mentor students to become their very best. What sets Leon apart is his ability to customize every instruction to his student’s goals.
