Quality Hotel & Suites At The Falls

PROS: Excellent price of $ 50 total with tax. Superb location. Walk straight down Old Falls Street right into the Niagara Park to see the Falls. Opposite direction a short walk to the Seneca Casino. Free open lot parking, but only big enough for about 20 cars. CONS: Everything else. The facility badly needs a complete renovation. Everything is worn out well beyond its useful life. I cannot begin to give a list. The owner clearly doesn’t care.

1 star reviews are the hardest to write, because i really wish there was such a thing as half a star which in this would have justified the situation. Very rude staff, specially the tour guide person Claudia from (ticket center). They dont even treat customers like this in third world countries, needless to say managers at the property were not much more helpful. Rooms were not clean, too many loud noises, feels like the entire hotel needs a complete rebuild. If you have option i advise strongly to stay away, as you’ll have a horrible experience.

This hotel needs a complete rebuild! It is so over priced for the condition this hotel is in. From the moment you walk in, the dark, dingy, musty smell overwhelm you. The carpet hasn’t been swept for weeks. The beds and beddings were atrocious. Stains on the beddings. You can feel the springs in the mattress. The mattress squeaks on every movement. The bathroom is soooo small. There is no room for your stuff on the sink. Other guests brought their pets. The room across from me had a dog that was barking relentlessly until the owner came. Since they don’t vacuum I hope I didn’t bring any fleas home from my luggage. They should not advertising free wifi. There is no wifi. The other reviews included pictures dated back in 2007; well, as of 10÷15÷15 nothing has changed since 2007. I was sent a survey from the management of this hotel after my stay and I said the same thing as this Unilocal review. Management reply was «hope you come back so we can make it better for you next time.» Come back next time? Only if under new management and a complete rebuild of the hotel! For the price they charge they can do a complete rebuild! Who’s pocketing the money? Certainly not the housekeeping nor the other staff members, otherwise, they would take pride in their work. The one star is because I accidentally pressed a star.

We stayed here just for one night as we joined a tour of the east coast. The location was very close to the Falls and the Boat Tour. Overall, the hotel was a bit rundown.

We needed a place to stay for the night that would allow us to bring our cat and we wanted close proximity to the falls. It doesn’t get any closer than this Quality Inn! A mere five minute walk from the Maid of the Mist ticket center, this hotel couldn’t have been better suited to our needs. We checked in around 2 am and the front desk staff was alert, attentive and helpful. There is a restaurant in the hotel which is extremely convenient, too.

Big hotel, lot of services.
The staff is very friendly and professional.
they have their own parking lot, in the hall there is a bar too and a coffee machine for free coffee.
The position of the hotel is perfect, only 5 minutes walk from the falls.
The problem of the hotel are the rooms.
Big, very big, but old very old and dirty, did not like it there.
I even found a bug in the corner of the walls and a little of dust on the forniture.
Furthermore the room was furnished with a very very bad taste.
Sorry about the rooms, everything else was very good.

Thia is the second time me and my husband have stayed here. We used points we had accumulated from staying at Choice properties and using their Credit Card. The price was incredible. We stayed in a suite room it had a balcony with a view of Canadian skyline. The room was veet spacious and clean. This property has a gift shop, a restaurant, bar (super friendly and helpful bartenders and great customers) which we have always had fun, indoor pool. My ONLY complaint is the tiny, and I mean tiny parking lot. There is a parking deck just across the street for which they will validate your ticket. We our preferred Choice customers and do quite a bit of traveling and we really enjoy this Hotel
Rooms are clean and the employees are very helpful and accommodating. We will stay here again and again

Great for the price — nice location, really super friendly staff, spacious rooms. The concierge was a highlight, she memorized my daughters name the first day and said hi to her every time we passed. The shop was closed but she opened it for us so we could buy some gloves since my daughter dropped one in the snow.
Pool was indoors and open with a spa, the beds were okay, the only issue we had was that the walls were very thin. Other than that we had a great stay!

The only reason why this hotel has a two star is because of its location since it’s near the Niagara Falls. The hotel is messy like the elevators where they try to put a carpet which just make it looks bad. The room was alight but it really needs to be updated. The air conditioner is really old and really loud and also needs to be clean. The bathroom that I had seemed like a health hazards because the Ac in the ceiling was literary covered with dust, the shower water will always go hot then cold back and forth with no consistent temperature. This hotel is cheap to stay but it shouldn’t be this cheap

Go ahead and book it. Good value, clean, close to the falls.

The positive: All staff is professional and friendly. Rooms are ample and clean. VERY close to the Falls, casino, and other attractions. Good value on the off season and no 2 night weekend minimum.
The negative.: Décor in hallways and rooms very outdated. Wi-​Fi is free but spotty at best. Parking is cumbersome and VERY limited, upon check in I spent 15 minutes stalking the 2 lots waiting for a spot to open.
Over all in off season it is a good stay however in peak tourist season I wouldn’t even consider staying here between the parking, increased rates, and 2 night minimum weekend stay

Worst hotel I ever stayed. I got married here and my 40 guests had to wait over 3 hours to check in because I had to be there with my credit card. I reserved 11 rooms over the phone with my credit card and was told guests only needed confirmation number. But not so, they allowed the first guest that arrived at noon to check in and everyone else had to wait for me over 3 hours in the lobby driving in a snow storm. The rooms are deplorable, never cleaned, never replaced towels and wash clothes. The weather comes through the windows and heat don’t work. Toilets, baths and water pressure terrible. Cable tv in and out. 1 guest was moved to another room shower didn’t work. They charge your room when you check in so don’t expect any compensation for all the issues you are destined to experience. The mgr printed a list of complaints we felt was serious enough to call about and said the other issues should have been reported to give maintenance the opportunity to fix and to have a nice day. They obviously know the hotel needs updating and wait for complaints to put a band aid on problems. Who wants to spend the stay complaining to front desk. From reading the reviews these issues are ongoing. I tried to explain that I was there 2 days for a wedding and was embarrassed to have put my guests through such an ordeal. My husbands mother got into bed and found sunglasses in it. His brother got a free Gshock watch left in his bed. All I wanted was clean Lenin and proper plumbing and this place cant accommodate that. DONT STAY HERE THE HEALTH DEPT. SHOULD SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN

I enjoyed my stay there, though it was only for one night (but I would gladly stay longer).
The room was nice and reasonably clean (there were some crumbs on the floor which was of course disturbing, but somewhat expected from a lower quality hotel. There weren’t many, and everything else was clean). The beds were a little saggy, but nothing that would make my back uncomfortable (and I’m a really captious sleeper).
The curtains were dark enough, and even though our room was facing the morning sun it was ok. The view from the window was nice and refreshing. Also there was some sort of AC which was set on «fan only» setting for the night and somehow provided the room with fresh air, which is crucial to me.
The walls did seem thin (we heard some muffled voices from the adjacent room, so if your neighbors turn out to be very noisy I imagine it can be an inconvenience). But nothing a pair of very simple earplugs wouldn’t solve. Unless you are coming there to spend a lot of time in the hotel, it should be fine.
I liked the fact that there were a lot of towels and I also liked the bathtub, it’s a really convenient make.
Breakfast was included in our stay and it was fine as well. Scrambled eggs, cottage cheese/​yogurts, some pastries and bagels, jam, conserved fruits, tea/​coffee/​juice (coffee was bad though, but again that’s expected), something else that I can’t remember now — you’ll have a more or less decent breakfast. If it’s not included, you can buy it on site for something like $ 10.
I didn’t try the bar/​restaurant, so can’t speak to that.
And of course the location — very close to the Falls, gift shops, Canadian border. There’s Hard Rock Café, TGI Friday’s and ⁷⁄₁₁ nearby.
All in all VERY nice experience for the price.

Meh… this place is okay… I guess. I’m going with 3 stars because of how it compares to other hotels in the area.
They have a really nice lobby with a bar and other amenities. Fantastic location for travelers and tourists. Free parking is a plus. They charge significantly less than other chain hotels in the area. The actual rooms and corridors could definitely use some updating. I found the beds to be okay in terms of comfort, but nothing great. Based on my experience and bang for your buck though, I would choose this place over the Sheraton down the street any day.

The smokey lobby, the filthy carpet, the dirty stairwell, the moldy-​smelling bathroom, and the rude housekeeping staff all combine in a perfect storm to make this one of the worst hotels I have ever experienced. Unless every other hotel within 50 miles is full, do not stay here.

Guess it depends on what you are looking for… It is no Hilton, or even a Hampton, but the price was good compared to others in the area and the selection of beers at the hotel bar was excellent!

If you’re staying here, please do yourself a favor and pickup some earplugs and a blindfold.
My room was clean, but loud and bright.
The walls in this place are very thin, and the drapes are not very dark.
Other than that, the place was a fine 2-​star hotel. It’s not a very nice place, but it’s not priced like a very nice place.

Niagara Fails! I’m no picky traveler, but this hotel was, by far, the dumpiest dump I have ever stayed in. Had I not been booked into the room by somebody else for a wedding I was attending, I would have never stayed here.
THE UP-​SIDE: The one and only good thing I have to say about this hotel is that it is really close to the American falls of Niagara Falls, NY.
THE DOWN-​SIDE: Where to start??? I called ahead to verify my check-​in within a few hours and to make sure my key was available. As part of a wedding, the groom had checked me in and had the key held at the desk. Upon arriving, the key was nowhere to be found. After a long time, they found it.
We headed up to the room and the key didn’t work. The desk staff zapped the card and said it was good — try again. We did. Nothing. Turns out they had given us a key to a room strangers were sleeping in. Good thing the door didn’t open!
Our actual room was a floor below. After an hour of messing around trying to get into a room, we opened the door to find a stink-​hole. Dank and downright depressing, the room looked as if it hadn’t been updated in years and years. The lighting was horrible, and it was difficult to get a good view of anything there — probably a blessing.
The heating and AC worked only sporadically, and when it did, it had a strong smell of urine. The windows were sealed shut, so no relief in sight. The handle came off the sink faucet, the iron didn’t work right, and breakfast was just terrible.
THE SUM-​IT-​UP: Stay here only if you are on the run from law enforcement and need a place where nobody would look to find you. It’s a disgusting, dank, dark, smelly place with a clueless staff.

Not bad. It’s way off season (middle of winter) so the price was right: $ 62 for two doubles, big enough for our family without being terribly cramped.
Best part — location. We walked over to the Canadian side for dinner and a killer view of the falls, and in the morning we’ll walk to the park on the US side.
Average parts — indoor pool (small, but a worthwhile distraction for our son); rooms (nothing special, but clean).
Worst part — WiFi (never did work, I think the DHCP was blown and it needed a reboot); 1^st floor room (up the steps from the lobby, no elevator, rendering the luggage cart packed with a whole family’s worth of luggage useless).
All told, it was well worth our $ 62 (before tax), but I wouldn’t feel good about paying triple digits during high season …
