History

Established in 2012.

Previously operating a masonry/​painting company for three years which lead to numerous requests for other trade services upon high demand from property managers, Benchmark was founded in 2012.

Wojciech K.

Business Owner

Wojciech Kozlowski has over 11 years expertise in masonry, roofing, and home renovations. Wojciech continues to have a hands on approach acting as Benchmark’s principle Project Manager with the work crews and deals directly with the client.

Wojciech is fluent in three languages: Polish, German & English. He has a degree in Marketing & Management. Married, moonlights as a Ballroom Dance Instructor and his favorite sport is Basketball (huge Bulls fan).

Our condo association just started a 20k+ structural repair project with Benchmark. Wojciech made the entire planning process easy — he’s extremely responsive to e-​mails/​phone calls and thoroughly explains the process along the way.
His crew shows up on time ready to work and has been efficient and friendly thus far.
If this is indication of the finished product — we will definitely use Benchmark again in the future!

Excellent work. Put in Blue stone porch and paver patio. Was very responsive to minor adjustments and will follow up after job is done, to make sure you are happy.
Quote was also competitive. Would recommend.
1 year later– have attempted to get follow up to fix some settling, but have not been successful setting a time. Very disappointed in follow up.

I needed some work done in my bathroom, and my property manager had nothing but praise for Benchmark. I went on his guidance and gave them a call.
I had ideas for what I wanted, but my plan wasn’t exactly solid. The guys at Benchmark were really patient with me, helped me with the design stage, and installed some additional accessories and hardware.
Overall, I was really impressed with the crew. Everyone was very polite, had extensive knowledge of materials and construction and indulged my curiosity at every stage of the process. They were great problems solvers and cleaned up after themselves really well.
The guys at Benchmark were great communicators, always following up on scheduling times, letting me know when materials were ready, and alerting me if there would be a change of plans. I really appreciated their honesty.
I knew I could trust my property manager, but I got more than what I expected and absolutely love my new bathroom. Would definitely recommend Benchmark to a friend.

I used Benchmark to replace my laminate flooring with re-​engineered hardwood. Wojciech was great to work with. The price was by far the best I was able to find and their service was amazing.
The order I placed for flooring was delayed in shipment and Wojciech accommodated the delay and was able to install my floor in time for Christmas!
I would recommend Benchmark and plan to keep them in my iphone Contacts list for future jobs.

Just to give you an idea on the response and communication from this company. I first spoke with Wojciech Kozlowski, project manager, when he was working on a neighbor’s rear stairs. I asked him to send a quote after seeing the great work that was done on her building. Within a couple of days I received the quote. Subsequently, I scheduled the job with Wojciech to begin about two weeks later. He sent an email the day before beginning the job reminding me that he would be here at 7:00 a.m. He arrived as scheduled with sufficient workers to complete the job in 1 day as he promised. They came by the next day to make sure everything was ok and to do any touchups if necessary. I would highly recommend them for any projects!

Working with Nick was great! He is a much more responsive associate than what I have worked with in the past. His communication regarding start times, end times etc was amazing. When his crew had questions regarding the project they came directly in and spoke with me to make sure that I approved of what they were doing and that the job was completed to everyone’s satisfaction.
We will definitely be using Benchmark in our future projects and based on my experience working with them I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.
