Lonny did a fantastic job designing, building and installing our custom closets. We’re first time home buyers, so didn’t know a thing about custom closet design. Lonny patiently educated us on the process and best designs for our needs. He was very transparent and honest about good products that meet our need and price point. In the end we felt like we got a very high quality product that meets all our needs. I will recommend Everything closets to my friends.

I hired Lonny to create a master closet and redo several others throughout my house about 8 years ago. We had remodeled a lot of the house and therefore I dealt with many different contractors, floor companies, electricians, etc. NOT one of them came close to Lonny in terms of professionalism, timeliness and pricing. He is honest and doesn’t push you into buying things you don’t need. In fact, he was always very conscious of my budget and tried to save me money in spite of my extravagant taste.
I recently moved and needed a bedroom converted into a walk in closet. As usual, he was prompt and came up with a great plan for the remodel and then seeing that our house was in disarray, he had someone deliver to us some portable racks for our clothes until the closets get completed. I can’t say enough good about him and his company. You will not regret it if you call him!

This is the best it gets. Lonny was extremely responsive and communicative from the start of our inquiry for installing new closets in our new home in Chicago. This was the first time I had gone down the route of having REAL closets put into a home, and I am so so so pleased we opted to do so. The quality of communication, product, service, and installation was top notch from the get go. Upon my prompt call back from Lonny, I was surprised to learn that all appointments are during the day and not evenings nor weekends. The tone I received from Lonny was curt and irritated as I questioned their policy on appoitments. This was a shock to me.

We had moved into our new house and desperately needed well-​organized closet space. We received bids from two other companies. Lonny’s estimate came below the price of the other two companies. He looked over the closets changed much of the design for the better. At the completion of the job, Lonny came out to examine the work. He refused to be paid until he knew that both of us were satisfied with the work.
Jeff, the installer, was professional and polite. He did good work and kept everything clean.

A friend recommended Everything Closets after seeing closet plans from the Container Store on my table. I previously had custom closets at my other home and when I moved I really missed how neat and easy it was to access all my clothing, shoes, and handbags. I gave Lonnie the Container Store plans and his price for the same layout but with his higher quality product, was comparable.
He was very attentive to my phone calls and messages.
The installers were also extremely neat and professional.

This is not a comment on their quality since they refused to work with us, but this should be noted on their website and advertising. Apparently, they have a minimum number of closets they will do. I needed a build for a 4-​foot wide pantry, and they told me they will not do such a small project. So unless you’re doing mutliple closets in your entire house, don’t bother contacting them.

We had Lonny come out to our new townhome and put in 5 closets… he is incredibly professional and takes pride in his work, his employees were respectful of our home and put down tons of blankets and the finished product looks fantastic! I would highly recommend Lonny and his crew for any closet or organizational needs; we had him measure our garage and will eventually have cabinets and organizers placed as well. Hire Lonny and you will not be disappointed!

They worked with me carefully on design which took a few drafts. They worked with me to get the install date and time I wanted. The installer was super professional and nice and efficient. All in all it went great. I will definitely use them again for closet design and install!

We ultimately chose Everything Closets after interview several other closet designers — was a recommendation from our builder. They were very competitively priced, and service was excellent. Lonny did a great job with the design, and they were super responsive throughout the whole process from design to AFTER completion — returning several times to do touch ups and tweak a few things. We love our closets, and it was a very smooth painless process to boot!

I met with Lonny at the end of January to discuss installing organized closets in 5 closets in our house (three walk-​in closets and two regular closets). Lonny was great from start to finish and even after the job was completed.
We met with three closet companies and decided to use Lonny for the following reasons:
1. He has received numerous great reviews on angle’s list and I was referred to him by various friends
2. Of the three companies I met with, Lonny was the least «sales-​y». I felt that he was genuinely honest with his products, his experience, his competitors and most importantly, he wanted to ensure I was choosing his company for the right reasons. The sales reps from the other two companies were knowledgable on their products but you could tell they would say anything to essential get the sale. I did not feel this way with Lonny at all.
3. Lonny is the owner of his company and I dealt directly with him, not a sales representative. He was and is always responsive. He would return my calls and or emails within hours. In addition, Lonny has hands-​on experience in manufacturing and installing closets whereas I only with with the sales representatives of the other companies I met with.
4. His prices are quite reasonable and his products are great.
5. Lonny is extremely patient. I pay very close attention to detail and I am pretty anal. Therefore I asked a ton of questions as I wanted to ensure we were getting the best use of our closets. Lonny never showed any frustration and even encouraged that I come to the show room to see various products in person since I do pay such close attention to the details.
His insights as to closets design and product finishes were extremely helpful. I could tell he truly knew what he was talking about.
He kept me well informed of the project status which was on par with what he had anticipated in terms of timing, etc. He also came to the house during the installation to ensure everything was being done to his standards.
The installation of the closets took 3 days and his installers, Sean and Garrett, were very professional, clean and kind. During the last day of the install, I decided I didn’t like something in my daughter’s closet and Lonny was happy to change it. I should note that what I didn’t like was a change that I made that went against what Lonny had originally proposed. Sure enough, I should have listened to him. Anyhow, he didn’t have an «I told you so attitude» at all. This change meant he had to send back one of his installers after the install was complete and he didn’t charge me for it.
Lonny checked in with me a week or so after completion to make sure we were happy with everything, which I thought was great. I actually had a small issue with the lock to my jewelry drawer and Lonny sent Garrett over to fix it right away and checked in again to make sure all was good.
My experience with Lonny, Sean and Garrett was great. I would strongly recommend Everything Closets to anyone who is looking to install organized closets in their house. In fact we plan to use them again to organize a few more closets in our house.

If you need a closet solution, it doesn’t get any better than this. Lonny came highly recommended to me and he did not disappoint. Great to work with; competitive prices; his crew showed up on time and couldn’t have been nicer or taken more care with the installation and cleanup. Thoroughly satisfied and enjoyed the process!

Lonny & his crew are amazing! The prices are more affordable than anyone else in the Chicago area for custom closets and the installation was quick and clean. I recommend them to everyone I know.

All around great experience. They beat California Closet quote for my bedroom by 10% and the quality is better. Installer was courteous, quick and did a great job. If you’re looking to remodel your closet, start with them.

Lonny and his crew did a fantastic job for us! We had priced out 4 closet companies over a few weeks. It was very refreshing to get a professional’s perspective vs a salesperson’s. His designs were the best out of all 4. We have a large, but odd shaped master closet which posed challenges to the others. But Lonny was the most creative. His prices were very competitive. So much so that we had him do our new baby’s closet. The installation crew that came out to our home were equally great to work with. They were professional, polite, cleaned up, and most importantly the work was perfect.
Lonny came back out the next day to check out the work — only because our baby was napping and he couldn’t get a good final look at the baby closet. Not a lot of people would take the time to come back out.
With the addition of «the little one» we needed to utilize all the space in our condo we have. My wife and I are SO happy that we chose Everything Closets. I would most definitely recommend Lonny and Everything Closets!

After buying a new condo, we were extremely excited to move in and unpack. Unfortunately, the closets were not as big as we would have liked — so we were a bit worried about the unpacking part. We called a few companies to see if we could get quotes and designs and Lonny with Everything Closets was far and above the best. He went above and beyond to meet with us and work with us on coming to the condo to do measurements before we moved in and even had keys. He was early to meet us, quick to provide designs and prompt with returning calls and emails.
After the initial design and proposal he even worked with us on tweaking the designs and was quick to respond with new drawings and thoughts. Lonny was professional and helpful and made us feel at ease. Not only did he provide great service, but the price was quite reasonable — if not a deal — for the quality of service and product.
Upon installation, Sean came to tear down the wire racks we had and put up the new closets. He was also on time, polite, diligent and clean. He informed me of any issues during the install and showed me how to move things around if I wanted. He even completed the installation a few hours early!
Lonny and the Everything Closets crew did an amazing job! We just moved this past weekend, and we were afraid we wouldn’t be able to get all of our clothing and belongings into the closet, but everything FIT! It looks amazing!

Lonny and his team did his and hers closets for our master bedroom this past summer. We are very happy with the results overall, including the design, installation and pricing. I appreciated that Lonny was flexible when we suggested a few tweaks to the design, and his team did a great job of installing quickly and professionally.
We shopped around a bit for closet folks, and I was amazed at how widely priced varied across different companies. I feel that Everything Closets is the best in terms of the combo of good prices and high quality. If we have any closet needs in the future, we will definitely call them again.

We shopped around quite hard for closet folks and these people were the best quality and the cheapest — mainly because they do most of the work out of their own shop! Which also means the timing can be rather quick. They ended up doing both our pantry and twin master closets. We were also pleased with the follow up service — a joist in the hamper built in became loose and they came and fixed it later that week! Highly recommend!
