WHAT A RIP OFF!!! George (owner of Nordine) is not a general contractor or any kind of contractor for that matter. He sub-​contracts all of his work. In other words, you as the
customer /​homeowner can hire the contractor directly without paying the added charge that George adds so he can not show up at your house to not supervise the sub-​contractors. So when I had issues with the quality of work from the sub-​contractors I had no one to speak with, and of course you call numerous times and no one answers or promise a call back, but dont hold your breathe. I only hired him because the bank I financed my house with needed me to repair the house I just purchased within 60 days.
STAY AWAY!!! BTW… They are the most expensive people in town! Cuz they sub-​contract.

We set up an appointment with George to discuss the cost of replacing the roof on our house, when we arrived for the appointment he was unprepared, had taken no measurements or gone up on our roof to see what was really needed, we heard all about his insurance for his laborers and how he runs his business. Not a good thing to do when someone takes time off from work to meet with you. He also mentioned how big our house was and threw out the figure $ 20,000 (our house is a 2000 sq ft 2 story not a 4000+ sq ft mansion) He actually asked us how much we wanted to pay for our roof. Come on… nobody wants to spend money on a roof we wanted to know how much it would cost him to do it! He also stated that he already had money into our project because he ordered a satellite image of our roof for accurate measurement (but, he didn’t have it to show us at our appt). We left the appt asking him to email the estimate to us, but now more than three weeks later we have not heard a word from him.
