Before I lived in Florida, I lived here, in Rochester, NY. In the time since then, I have eaten MANY a pizza, and have yet to find one that can match the Shack. Totally unassuming, the Pizza Shack’s talent for making a perfect pie is way bigger than the small corner of a gas station they call home. The crust is perfectly baked(not too crispy, not too crunchy), the pizza is LOADED with toppings, and the sauce is like nothing I have ever tasted on a pizza to this day. When we visit family back in Rochester, we always order one large with pepperoni and one large with pepperoni and mushrooms, to go(there is no seating here), plus buffalo wings, which stay true to the original Buffalo, NY, recipe. Once I’ve had my fill, my trip is complete, and I can go back to Orlando completely satisfied. Give me a couple slices from the Shack, a few wings, a wet-nap and a Diet Coke, and I’ll be set.

Pizza is out of this world. If you like a thick and heavy dough, The Shack is a must. Their sauce is awesome, and they seem to just be able to throw it all together like no-one else. Perfect amount of cheese(on the more side)… and same for the peperoni. Their crust is awesome as well and seems to have something to do with the extra squirt of olive/veg oil they throw all around the edge before throwing it in the oven. Never had a bad sub their either. White pizza and hawian pizzas are very good as well.
