This was my first visit to HaHa… It is a good place to spend a night with friends, have a bite, savor your thirst with a few drinks, and enjoy the comedy show with full of laughter by a handful of comedians with improvised humor and some with greatly prepared material. I will attend again soon. Overall, the atmosphere is very enjoyable, the food was good, the crowd was friendly… and my food choice for the night was the Chicken Quesadilla… which I will have it again at my next visit. HaHa… Thanks for the good time!

If you like your comedy filled with stereotype’s, shouting punchlines or just plain lame jokes, than Haha is for you. Had four comps to see the«comedians» on a Sunday evening and the place was packed. They required a two drink or food minimum, which is fine. There were no seats so we had to sit right in front. I figured this could add to the entertainment value. Strike one. The host came up and proceeded to shout all of his act at us. Poor choice to sit in the front, it appeared that the friend I was with were the only two in the club as he proceeded to hone his act by presenting it to just us. I felt obligated to laugh. I didn’t. His jokes consisted of, «my mom is dead» laughter. «Why are you laughing, I said my mom was dead». Pause. «Just kidding». «My dad is prison…» Blah, blah…“my brother shot himself…” Ugh. I wanted to hang myself. Next three comics consisted of a guy who thought his idea of humor was to make fun of the obvious; his name. Bob Shoe or the translation in Spanish. Strike two. The next two were Asian and whoever was the genius who thought it would be brilliant to put these guys back to back, needs some serious therapy. Both of these guys proceeded to make fun of their own tribe by calling back to Kung Fu movies, lame Asian drivers and how his mom basically says Ah So, Ching Chong to him… ugh. Strike friggin’ three. We were gone, however, we left after the third comic and the host came back up, saw us leaving and had the best zinger of the night, «it’s 9:30 and the old people are leaving to get home». Good one. If only the show we stayed for was as original. Nothing against young talent, but come on, leave appealing to the lowest common denominator to Donald Trump.

The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is because I receive great service from Melody which works at the door. Other wise, I would have gave them 1 star. Terry is the most rudest person I have ever met and sadly to say she is the owner. I refuse to ever return or recommend the Haha café to any of my friends. The last person u expect to receive shitty service from is the owner.

Some of comedian were fine some of them just were talking about only drug jokes and very raunchy. The waitress is very pushy and menus only listed with alcoholic beverages and drinks were over priced. There is no parking lot for haha club. Thank you for reading.

My wife and I have been to Haha Comedy Club many times. We recently visited the new location and were very happy with the new theater. The bar and theater areas are bigger than before and they also now have a very nice outdoor patio area. It’s a very comfortable place to have a fun evening without being in an overly crowded area, and the price is always right. Drink prices are reasonable. The owner, Jack, is always a great host. We have seen some of the funniest comedians at Haha and my face often hurts by the time I leave. We will always find the time whenever we can to visit Haha Comedy Club and know that it will always be a fun night.

I’ve been to this place a few times and every time it just keeps getting better and better! You usually have to do a 2 drink minimum which isn’t even a problem and if you have a large group like we did then the tickets are really reasonable. They always have amazing stand ups. You will laugh all night long! This is such a great place to come in a group and just hang out. They do offer appetizers which are pretty good, I didn’t get them this time but I usually do and the guy at the door is hilarious and such a sweetheart! The place itself is not too big but it accommodates a pretty good amount of people but I still recommend to get there early. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Came here on a Sat night made reservations online for my groupon and it was very easy. Parking’s a bit of a challenge so make sure you get there early(found residential with no permits). Arrived about 5 min before show started and it was packed and a bit cramped. Comedians were very funny. 2 drink min and alcoholic beverages were pricey. Groupon came with a free appetizer and it was nothing special.

I have been meaning to write a review on the Haha café for a while now. It is my favorite comedy club by far. They always have a hilarious line up and very friendly service. The new location(newish) is great, really creates an awesome vibe, even to just get a couple drinks at the bar. The owner, Jack, will probably be there and he is a very nice and pleasant person. If your looking for a place to go or looking for a laugh, you have to try the Haha Café.

This place is awesome. The comedians are always great and you’ll always leave being glad you came to have a good laugh! My girl and I found it by mistake when wondering what to do on a Friday night. So good to have such a cool place in the neighbourhood. The owner, Jack, is a gentleman and is passionate about comedy, which is why this place has such a cool vibe.

What a great night! My boyfriend and I were in the mood for some laughs so we decided to try out the Ha Ha Comedy club for the remedy. They were billing«All Star Comedy» so those were pretty big words to fill. We found the location easily and felt a warm welcome from the start. A man named Jack greeted us and made us feel right at home. I’m not sure if he was the owner, manager, or other… But he was very nice. The decore was great upon entering, and the bar was funky cool. A bit retro. Good vibe. Jack tipped us off to grab a drink at the bar before we were seated, as it would be faster. That was a good idea because everyone arrived at the same time, and the servers were hoppin busy. The decore in the showroom was great and the seating was comfortable. We had already eaten, but most of the people around us ordered food. I asked the couple behind us how their food was, and they said it was awesome. They said they come here all the time and all the food is always really good. I think they were tacos. I will definitely come hungry next time! The servers were attentive and always quickly delivered another drink whenever we were ready. The MC for the night was Ben Morrison. He killed it. Super funny. The first two warm up acts were great, but the last two headliners were awesome! I think it was Jason Stuart and Steve Trevino. We laughed our asses off over, and over! One of the best comedy shows I have been to in a long, long time. We can’t wait to go back! Thanks Ha Ha! 5 Stars!

I went to Haha comedy club on a Thursday night 02÷25÷16 and it was pretty good. The comedy and the comedians were OK. Nothing to die for. However I did enjoy the last 2 comedians. If I am not mistaken their names were Brady Mathews and Jeff Garcia. They both made me laugh a lot. Having a good sense of humor and cracking a good joke to me is like Universal language just like music. Some people get it and enjoy listening to it and others don’t! The place was nice. Not too small, and not too big. Very convenient location and comfortable seating inside. I liked it. Food was very delicious! I ordered their fish soft tacos with rice and beans and a pena colada. Both were made to perfection! My server Kristine was very kind, sweet, knowledgeable and on point. I really liked her service. I am very pleased with Haha, but I wish that their comedy interested and entertained me more to a point that I peed in my pants:) That’s ok, maybe next time. I am willing to go there again, hopefully this time other comedians would have a better topics to talk about and hopefully make me laugh louder and harder!

(4.5 stars) My sister and brother-in-law got us a pair of tickets as a Christmas Gift last year, in which we used as a cute Valentine’s Day date. The ticket voucher they gifted was actually good for 4 people, so we invited 2 other friends. To be proactive, I called ahead of time to double check that I can redeem this voucher on V-Day, as some places would consider this date a «blackout date», but when I called the venue to ask they it was redeemable on 2÷14− I was told YES. Here we are on Valentine’s Day, and when my party of 4 walked up to the Will-Call window, I was told that«because it’s Valentine’s Day, these tickets are not valid for tonight.» Mind you we drove from Ventura County, through dumb LA traffic(sitting in a car for almost 2 hrs) to be told we can’t get in, needless to say I got irritated right away. The ticket lady communicated the situation with her manager, who first practically turned us away… changed his mind shortly after and said we can redeem our voucher since it wasn’t a sold out show. For the show not being sold out, I was thankful. We actually ended up with pretty good seats, mid-front to the left of the stage. Anywhere you sit, you’ll get a good view since it’s like stadium seating but with tables. So here’s the low-low, this venue requires a 2 drink minimum per person, with drinks averaging a steep price of $ 10. Are the drinks stiff?! Not really, so I would highly recommend pre-gaming before you come to the venue. They serve food; common bar food: fries, wings, etc. Is it worth it? No. Plan a dinner before or after; show usually ends shortly after 10ish. I know my review may have a negative tone to it, showing 4.5 stars, but the star review is more for the comedians we saw that night. They were ALL super funny comedians, I was truly surprised. More than a couple times I had tears coming down my cheeks, good, good times! Would I return for another show? Absolutely! The comedy topics were the common: racial jokes, Jewish jokes and inter-racial relationship jokes. You have to have an open/flexible personality because I can see how someone serious can get offended, but it’s all good fun. Personally being in an inter-racial relationship I was able to relate and the jokes were hilarious!

What a great night out with good friends and Haha Café Comedy Club. We’ve seen at least a dozen shows between the old place and the new place. We always get a great laugh! A few comics we recognize and a handful of new ones. Always a fun night! Beer on tap is reasonable. A few of their food items are good and worth getting as your«two minimum item«purchase. I think I like the sofa seating better in the old place, but the overall feel of the new club is really nice. Get on their guest text list for great deals every week. Thanks Haha for a fun night out. :)

The comedians food and drinks are amazing here! Every time we have gone the comedy has been great, if not the best! The front desk/hostess on the other hand had no customer service skills. Our group had bought two groupons, even after reading and rereading the fine print when we got there the hostess declared more restrictions so we could not use one of our groupons. After buying two groupons we had to also buy another ticket on top of it. It was a cheap hustle that they have going on in the front, aka scam to make $ on groupon and in house. FINEPRINTTHEYDONTHAVEONTHEGROUPON: MUSTWAIT24HOURSTOUSETHEGROUPON (how we got around this: there is not a date on the groupon so make sure you tell them you bought it the day before or don’t say anything) THEREMUSTBETWOPEOPLEPRESENTATTHEBOXOFFICEORTHEYWILLNOTHONORIT! I really like this place. The comedians are always funny. Plenty of parking since you could park at the just tires. They are very accommodating. The food and the drinks are very good. I don’t mind the two drink minimum. What I do mind is the terrible waiting service. A server didn’t come to us until almost an hour of being there. We finally got our drinks and when the waitress came to check on us again she spilled my boyfriends beer. She got him, me and the woman sitting in front of us wet. Not only that, but she didn’t even offer to bring another beer. We still got charged for the spilled beer.

UPDATE — I dared to tell the TRUTH about what happened and since then I have received a response from the supposed manager Melbi accusing me of lying. I don’t lie. And the man sitting at the doorway, that kicked my friend out before he could perform, said he was the manager. So maybe Melbi is lying? But good to know that if you write the truth about this place, and it is not sterling, you will recieve a chastising letter from someone.

THATMOMENTYOUREALIZE… Over a year ago, a bff and her now hubby, invited me and a +1 to the Haha Comedy Club’s former location. It was your typical hole in the wall comedy club, dark, small, and intimate, two drink minimum, showcasing several comedians. There was a clear distinction between the newbies and the more seasoned comedians. Overall, we had an ok time. Fast forward several months, I received a text message inviting me back to their new location and a free show. Recalling my former experience was not altogether that great, I was extremely selective on who I invited. Wanted someone who, regardless of the show, we would find something to ignite the laugh-o-meter and keep it running. Not long after my last visit I received another text inviting me back again. Having loved the show more previously, yet still hesitant on invitee list, I beamed out a text blast to several fellow Unilocalers who, I remembered, regardless of the comedians, we would still love spending time together. After a hearty meal nearby, we checked into the Haha Comedy Club, where they are strict about arrival time. If you have a free pass and you miss the arrival time and you get scolded and have to pay the $ 10 entry fee, which is what happened to one of our late comers. Thus, don’t be late for a free show. We kicked it, while indulging in a tasty adult beverage in the modest sized waiting area, which has a full bar with stools and tables and decorated with autographed framed pictures of well-known comedians and celebrities. Shortly after the earlier show, let out, we were escorted to our seats inside the comedy room. IN A KNEESLAP: Parking in the area is challenging, but manageable. But make certain you read the posted signs. Staff members are friendly and ready to deliver beverages, but a little ho-hum, if at all, to bring the check. On our last visit we had to ask for our check in the waiting area. The ladies’ room is overly hot, not well lit, and is in need of much upgrading. Needless to say, both visits were surprisingly enjoyable. From the words of the emcee, «are you ready to laugh?» I realized I shouldn’t have taken that last bite of dinner. Oy!!! I laughed so hard that it hurt. One Unilocaler wrote in her review, «This place was hilarious! I mean, we were really laughing out loud, doubled over, and having a great time!» I think I cried at times, I was laughing so hard. The emcee ignited the laugh-o-meter and kept the audience laughing in between comedians.

Grab a Groupon if you can! Discounted admission and free appetizer. The savings will help with the 2 drink per person minimum… which aren’t outrageous in price($ 6ish for a beer, $ 12ish for a mixed drink) but the food prices were a little more steep. Comedians were great and the amount of time allowed for each was perfect.

Haha comedy club is lots of fun and the comedians are ridiculously funny! I recently celebrated my birthday last Saturday night. Arranging my guest list, I worked with Heripsime and Jack {owners} in making sure everything would be smooth for all of my guests(13 girls). You must sit in the front row to have the comedians pick on you, a guaranteed funny night. The whole staff was super friendly especially Dikran. He made sure we all had what we needed promptly. Food and drinks were yummy. I had chicken tenders and tacos. Both were very delish! I got a free birthday shot on stage, that was also the surprise cherry on top. Thanks haha! Everyone should try this place for a birthday party or a date night! A true gem in the valley.

Everyone needs to read my review. This place is the worst comedy club I’ve ever been to. They Charge you 10 dollars at the door, with a 2 drink min.(Which btw, my boyfriend and I got water, the arrowhead brand, and each bottle was $ 6.) the arrowhead brand everyone. And the only reason we didn’t have to get 2 drinks, was because our waitress waited until the last comedian was almost done with his set to visit our table for the FIRST time. We got water because all the alcoholic beverages were above $ 13. Now the comedians, were terrible. They would point out everytime no one laughed, and would call people out at inappropriate times. This was supposed to be a good time, and I’m someone who NEVER writes a bad review. But damn. OH, and don’t give your contact info to the place if you decide to ignore my review and visit anyway, because they will spam your phone forever with tickets to come back and waste more money.

Came here for a double date recently. I’m not generally a fan of comedy clubs but we decided to visit because of the great reviews. General info: –There’s a comedy club and a separate bar/waiting area outside –There’s a 2 drink minimum inside the comedy club. It generally cost between $ 5 to $ 13 depending on the drink Pros/Cons: –The owner was really friendly and service was pretty good –The food and drinks were pretty good –They occasionally have really great deals on LivingSocial –I think it was just maybe the night that we went, but the comics weren’t doing too good and the crowd really wasn’t feeling it at all. The turnout wasn’t too good either, however, I did go at 7pm on a Sunday night. I would really like to try revisit, maybe on a busier night.

Soooo, I’d like to update my old review from a few months back I went back… My boyfriend, a friend and I came on Friday and we had a blast. The comics were wayyyyyy funnier and the show started on time! As for the service, it’s good. Not the best, but can’t really complain. The Haha club has food and drinks. It is a 2 drink minimum which usually isn’t a problem, your there for a while your ganna end up having at least two drinks lol. We ordered the nachos and chicken tenders with fries. They were both really yummy. The chicken was really tender and juicy. The waitresses were very nice and always came to refill my drink or ask if I needed another one and or anything else. Met the owner jack, he’s super nice and friendly, my friend was in a wheel chair and his place is very well wheel chair accessible. He helped us through the back to get to our seats. Sooo conclusion The place has gotten WAYYYY better! Food was great, the drinks were nice and strong, and the comedians were hilarious ! Everyone should try this place, it’s perfect for date night or for birthdays!

My friends invited me to tag along and go to a comedy show with them. The place is small and cozy. They have an area with tables and chairs and then they have couches along the back wall. Color changing lighting which was pretty cool. But boy those lights get hot and the A/C was really not working for us. Service was pretty bad. Our initial waiter said he forgot his pen and never came back. So we ended up with this lady and we had to ask several times about our drinks and food. It took her 5 trips to our table to finally remember our waters. The lineup was ok but I expected a little better. I’m giving 3 stars based on service and the AC not being on full blast.

I’m pretty particular about the type of comedy that I like. So, when a fellow Unilocaler invited me to check out a show, I was cautiously optimistic that at least some of the comics would appeal to me. Well, about two comics in, I realized that there was no reason to be concerned. This place was hilarious! I mean, we were really laughing out loud, doubled over, and having a great time! While I’m sure that the quality of the comedy varies from night to night with the lineup, on the night that we went, it was outstanding! Seven comedians performed, including K-Von from Last Comic Standing. The venue is small and cozy, with tables and chairs on the lower level, and large couch booths on the slightly raised level in the back. It’s relaxed and casual and the waitresses don’t hound you to order drinks for their two drink minimum requirement(or to pay, for that matter). After the show, our group spent some time with the owner — Jack Dorian — who was delightful. He filled us in on his upcoming plans to expand the space at this new location and to offer a few additional items on the menu. With the funny show, the cool comics who freely chatted with us outside of the venue after the show, and the friendliness of the owner and the bouncer, we had an excellent night. I wish I’d known about this place earlier as I definitely would’ve spent a few more nights being entertained by HaHa. It was a 5-star experience but 4 stars because I’ve only been once. Consistency is key!

Oh how much I love comedy clubs! Especially up and coming ones like this place. Great for a Friday night with friends. When coming, I would recommend only ordering a few drinks. Food is overpriced and portions are small. French fries were around $ 9. Drinks have their price too, but at a comedy club, drinks are mandatory. It is 2 drinks per person. Their margaritas are amazing. If you’re not sure, trust me: margaritas are the way to go. They have a great variety of drink options as well as non alcoholic or virgin drinks for underagers. Although I am bound to come back, I still feel like there is a lot more the place can do to get customers flowing. I understand it is a new location; there should still be a lot more deals and coupons to attract people to the club.
