Just Tires

This place needs to be reported to BBB. They clearly have a procedure to try to price gauge first and lie to get unnecessary services. Do not go here.

I gave two stars as the counter person was very nice. I asked for a tire to be patched, and I was told due to the placement of the screw i couldn’t get a patch and was given an estimate for new tires. I took the car to another tire place and since it wasn’t in the shoulder or the sidewall it could be repaired.
SEXISM you say? I’m pretty sure if I was a dude my tire would have been repaired.

I got my last set of tires here four years ago, I wasn’t a very smart shopper then. I needed all four tires replaced and went there today. I was quoted $ 580 for a new set of Goodyears. I took the quote and sat in my car and called America’s Tire Company down the street. Same tires, $ 315. I ended up going a couple steps up with a better quality Yokohama tire (American made) out the door with 65k mile warranty and certified for defects at $ 364 total from America’s Tire. Don’t go to Just Tires unless you’re made of money, like throwing it away and/​or every other tire shop is closed.

Very unfriendly service from no smiles to yelling instructions rudely to a customer, to paranoid questions from front desk when I asked for their phone number (as if there is a customer out to get them) –I just wanted to come back later. But unfortunately for them, I won’t now. The only reason I gave two stars is 1) they are located safely right off the freeway for quick access and peace of mind; and 2) there’s a Latino gentleman who was very helpful and friendly.

Was told if I Made an appointment as to walk in it would take 30 min for oil change service. After 1 hr and 30min its still hasn’t been completed. I stopped by a day before I was told hour wait or more but with appointment less then 30 min. This is the last time I will be coming to this location. Wasted my mid day I took off from work. Honesty doesn’t exist I guess in this type of industry.

I took my car to america’s tire on lankershim and they took me right away and were courteous.

I got a rod the size of an African dildo stuck on my 19″ tire. Not a damn easy tire to find either! Andre helped me out and fetched my brand and size tire from another store, during rush hour! Andre saved the day and I waited in one of the best bars in LA next door! #andreforthewin

No one plans a flat tire on the freeway so when your employee tells me that I should’ve made an appointment for faster service I laughed. It took two hours for them to even look at my car and then ten minutes to change my tire. Oh and then when you take four other people in front of me two of which didn’t have appointments that really makes me want to frequent your establishment. F– you and you money grubbing establishment.

Overselling the customer on unnecessary services seems to be a trend at this Just Tires location.
My boyfriend has worked with cars for most of his life and is very knowledgable about repairs and maintenance. He got a flat tire on his lowered car on a Sunday that only needed to be patched (there was a screw stuck in the tread of the tire causing a slow leak).
Seeing as Just Tires was the only shop open on a Sunday, he took his car there and waited almost an hour for the techs to inspect his one flat tire and give him a quote.
He watched as the tech «inspecting» his tire stepped out to smoke a cigarette and chat on the phone as he sat and waited and waited and waited only to be told that not only could the tire not be patched for $ 25 (which is $ 10-​$ 15 more than most tire shops charge) but that he also needs all new tires and an alignment that was quoted at almost $ 1000!
He left extremely angry and was able to have his tire patched for $ 15 at another local tire shop with great reviews and service the next day.
This Just Tires location is full of crooks and cheats. Do not take your vehicle here unless you want to be scammed out of your hard earned money for unneeded services. It is pathetic that they prey on the less knowledgable to make a gross profit.

I went to get a flat tire patched. They wasted 2 hours inspecting my 20 year old vehicle just to hand me a quote for 1000 bucks, without even looking at the tire I came in for.
I then went to Ron’s Wheel and Tire down the street, they found the leak and patched it in 20 mins. As i waited another customer from Just Tires came in.
Just Tires in North Hollywood SUCKS!!! Go to Ron’s.

This automotive location is by far the worst I’ve ever been to. First of all, I had an appointment and the «service advisor» was clueless that I was coming down to get a simple oil change. Second of all, he began to get my information without even asking what type of oil I prefer (conventional, synthetic blend or full synthetic). Third of all, when I asked them what type of weight he had. He said only one kind. Lol. That’s when I knew that my vehicle was not going be serviced at this horrible place. My first time at Just Tires and by far my last. I wish I could give this place no stars.

I went here to get a nail taken out of my tire and they wouldn’t attempt to fix it and told me I needed a replacement tire not that cheaply, like close to $ 90. They weren’t that nice or friendly and didn’t greet me when I arrived. I was outside and the reception dude who was out there with another car. I made eye contact and he turned away. The workers in the garage didn’t even say hello, can I help you, you need to go inside for help. Nothing. I went inside and the same reception guy didn’t say anything to me. I had to approach him and ask him for help and he didn’t seem that eager to help. I went to Noho Tires further north on Lankershim and they were great and fixed the tire well and quickly for $ 15. Not coming back here!

Do not go here for a tire repair!
Dropped by here last Monday as my tire was completely flat after returning from traveling and I had been driving on the temporary wheel. They took the flat tire pumped it up and said they would need to put it in the tank to find the leak. 1 ½ hours of waiting later (in their office with no a/​c) they tell me that they put the tire in the tank, couldn’t find any leak and that it may have been kids who had deflated the tire. Seemed unlikely but I believed that they had at least checked the tire and found nothing.
2 days later of course my tire has flattened again. Go to a different tire place (big Q in Santa Monica on Lincoln) and in 5 minutes they’ve found the inch long piece of metal which is in my tire. Repaired in another 10 minutes for only $ 20.
Do not trust this place worth repairs, a deflated tire can be really dangerous in sudden braking scenarios and these guys won’t catch it.

Ew, bad vibes.
Not only did they not even have my appointment in their system (at 8am on a Monday, not a good time to annoy me) but the front desk guy was so obnoxious. They’re clearly just trying to sell things. I think they even may have purposely fucked with my car in an attempt to get me to fix it there.
He severely over-​exaggerated about the condition of my tires and basically said I would die in that car if I drove off the lot without replacing them all then and there. I felt like the dude was super sketchy so I went to get a second opinion immediately afterward where they told me my tires were fine.
I went in for a cheap oil change because I saw online that it was $ 19.99. It was actually $ 24.99, but whatever, if I find out later that they fucked that up, too, at least I’ll have a reason to get my parents to buy me a new car.

Horrible, terrible, avoid at all costs.
Go in for an oil change and first they play corporate computer twenty one questions and later decide to a diagnosis on my car too. Which includes pulling out an air filter. Which somehow made a bunch of debris fall into a compartment to make my vents clogged, make noise and not work.
And guess who doesn’t have a vacuum on site to pull out said debris?
The good news they found $ 3,000 worth of repairs needed on my car by doing this diagnostics. Yay! What a relief.
However to get the vents unclogged the owner actually suggested i go to the dealer! Eventually
I messed around with it enough and got it cleared with a house vacuum.
This is why you have to avoid dumb franchises like this. And this one specifically. They have absolutely no idea what they’re doing at all. JUST CHANGE THE OIL!
Don’t start messing around with stuff and taking things apart especially if you have no idea how to put it back together.

I write this as I sit in the waiting room, well after my quoted «1 hr» wait time to get my tire patched. I checked in at an hour and was told I was next. Lies. 4 people have gone in front of me. I asked to have my keys back and air put in my tire and I would just go elsewhere. What do I get? Major attitude. I’m told next time I plan to run over a screw to make an appointment. Jerk of the year award goes to this guy. When I express my disgust with his attitude, he takes my keys and drives my car (that 2 hrs later has a completely flat tire) like a race car up to the garage and then Jacks it up about sky high. where it’s been sitting for about 10 minutes. I have no intention of ever coming back, and if a tire was on my car I’d be gone already.
Pretty sure I’ll have to stop somewhere else on my way home to make sure this guy didn’t mess this up on purpose. Sad to say I get that vibe from here.

This place is sucks. Worst customer service ever. Waiting for more than one and a half hour to do the alignment on my car. These guys just squeezing in other cars and telling me that these cars have been here before me. Such a liers! I had a bad feeling just when came in, cause there was another guy being mad and yelling that these profs broke his car and refused to fix it just because the warranty on labor is expired for a month.

Came in for a flat tire and oil change. They were friendly at first and wanted to do an alignment check up and knew my car was fine with an alignment since I took my car in two months ago. They called and told me my front and back were out of alignment which I did not expect. The thing I did not like was when they slipped me a the paperwork for an alignment bill for me to sign which I said no to prior and caught him doing so. Also, when I got back my car the workers did not wash their hands obviously since my insides had black marks near the interior door handle.
I personally did not like the fact how they tried to slip an additional bill of alignment and dirtied my car. I wouldn’t come here again if I had a flat tire or anything. I think they thought since I was young they could trick me in paying more but that didn’t work.

Warning do not bring your car here for an oil change.
We have been bringing our luxury vehicle here for oil changes. On our last visit after oil change the check engine light comes on so it was taken to a mechanic that said whoever changed the oil did a horrible job and left oil all over the engine. We were told it needed to go to the dealership.
The dealership explained the same thing with oil being all over the engine and the oil pan loose and the oil filter was not on properly allowing oil to spill .
Its a costly mistake to take your car here.

Sorry to hear that people have had a bad experience. Luckily, mine wasn’t too bad…
Came here last minute trying to take advantage of some President’s Day sales, and Danny was able to hook us up.
Got 4 new tires (16″) with a 65,000 mile warranty + an alignment for $ 540. Sounds pricey, but after calling around, it was the best deal I could get for 4 quality tires ($ 490) + an alignment ($ 50).
My car was done in an hour. They even tried to help fix my brake light (gratis!), which was out, but stupid KIA makes it virtually impossible to do so without visiting their dealer. Boo!
