I’m big on customer service, customer service here left me feeling some type of way. I was pleased with the quick service, but disappointed on customer service. Roseeyo was preparing a order, looks at me and asked if I had ordered, mind you, I’ve been there for 3 min. I place my order, I pull my credit card out and she snatched it from my hand, asked if I was ordering anything else, I say no, I’m surprise she’s just taken my credit card without even telling me my total, finally she says the total, mind you I’m still in disbelief she’s snached my CC. Who does that? Last time I worked in the customer service, you smile, greet the customer, take order, give the total and wait to have payment handed out

So I come here all the time and for some reason the service was slow. Jair the green eyed cashier hands me my bag of 6pc wing and had to ask for a new bag cause my spilled every where in the bag as he handed it to me. He had the nerve to say«oh, its only the sauce» ! I asked for another bag and he just put the filthy box in a new bag and handed me wet naps! And had a attitude

If there was a –1 I would .This place has the worst customer service ever the cook Luis got upset with Leonor because she added green onion to my order, which I specifically said no green onion she asked him to fix it and he got mad he said to Leonor you fix it… really where is the professionalism sir… then the cashier was so unfriendly Elizabeth no customer service at all !!! Please Yoshinoya management train your staff and go that extra mile you need to but effort in finding out what is going on with your business read reviews. The key to a great business and keeping a good report with your customer is great customer service. I would never go back to this Yoshinoya again

cheap, local, super fast service and always hits the spot. i write this after eating beef bowl consecutively for the last couple of days. either talk of japan with the friends made me want a sukiya-ish dish but for some reason i kept getting the craving. expect the expected when it comes to this location. employees are efficient and never once fucked up my large beef x clam chowder with a ton of ginger on the side to go lol

Worst service I have ever experienced. We walked in and the two employees on that shift were sitting down in the dinning area. They stared at us. Then got up. They didn’t even greet us. The cook then walked by us to go to the kitchen and didn’t even acknowledge us. Then the cashier walked up to the counter and didn’t even say one word! I had to say hello and he just stared at me. Didn’t even ask how he could help or anything. We just walked right out. Very disappointed because Yoshinoya is great. But this location sucks really bad. We will never go back to that location. This isn’t the first time that the service was bad. But this will be the last that we will be treated with disrespect. They should hire people that actually want to be there. Or at least train better. Again, I am very disappointed and dissatisfied.

I’ve been coming to this place for about 8 – 9 years and the past 2 years have been terrible! Every time I come, the cashiers are very rude and talk about irrelevant stuff like parties to their co-workers while their packing my food togo! Yesterday, I came in at 10:00PM for a regular beef bowl and a combo bowl for my mom and the girl was mopping the floor and talking to a sister or friend. The conversation went a little bit like this «Hi what do you want?» «Hi can I have a-« And she cuts me off! Talk about rude saying that they didn’t have rice and she turned to the cook inside and starting giggling. We had to drive to the other store in panorama. I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone. In 2006-11 was still nice but this location really went down.

While Yoshinoya is not horrible, its not great, and this location is not one of the better ones. Service not so great, store kind of dirty and run down. Fish really watery, not tasty at all. I do like the veggies, my son the chicken and my husband the beef, but here it was all a bit off. Prices are fine, so are portions, they often send out coupons or you can join their club for more discounts. Pass on this location next time.

(Dined 06÷24÷15 W @ 12:30pm): One of my favorite restaurants of all time was walking distance away, but this Japanese fast food place was always a viable option regardless! I found myself at this Yoshinoya as I treated our longtime handyman to lunch after a long city inspection of a nearby rental property my family owned which I now helped manage. When I lived at and managed another family rental property barely two blocks away back in the mid-2000’s, this was my go-to location. Situated on a quasi-industrial street, this place used to be gritty with shabby décor, and I honestly never came here for late-night eats(I saved that for Sanamluang Café down the street). It was nice to see that both area and restaurant have since cleaned-up a bit. Armed with a «BOGO free regular bowls» coupon offer, how was this trip down memory lane to a another previous neighborhood of mine?: Regular-sized Teriyaki Chicken Bowl($ 4.79×2) — The chicken, diced green onions, and rice portions were fresh and plentiful. However, the sesame seeds, teriyaki sauce, and steamed fresh vegetables were minimal. Great value in this case, but the equal-parts veggies added so much more to the entire meal. Don’t get me wrong, I still loved it! Cheesecake($ 1.79) — Our handyman seemingly loved this pre-packaged dessert since he always ordered it when I treated him to lunch. I didn’t try it this time, but it at least it looked appealing. Caramel Flan($ 1.79) — One of my favorite desserts, I thought it odd this was on the menu. I thought, «what the heck!», and I was pleasantly surprised by this also pre-packaged item. It had a nice smooth and thickness to it, wasn’t drowned in caramel sauce, and nicely chilled. Surprisingly good as it was, I probably wouldn’t order it again since it was more of an impulse buy. Service — It was a busy lunchtime crowd, but the cashiers got through the lines quickly, and our food was ready in less than five minutes. They had a rover who cleared the tables of any trays and trash(fucking lazy customers!). It was a smooth operation — great job! Parking(Free) — They had a narrow private lot with less than 20-spots. Otherwise, there was plenty of metered and non-metered parking along the main drag of Sherman Way and on all surrounding streets. Atmosphere, décor, ambience — Pretty basic like any fast food place with a tinge of donut shop, the layout was a bit small and filled with booths, tables and chairs in a «Blue Man Group» color. Some framed pictures hung on the pale-colored walls along with promotional posters stuck on a few of the windows, and a visual menu on the wall behind the order counter. Plenty of indoor electric fluorescent lighting and decent amount of natural lighting(street lights in the evening) came in through the many windows. There were no TVs but music played in the background. Improvements had been made since my last visit over 8 years ago… and no homeless people. Attire — Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops if I weren’t actually working. Overall, the Yoshinoya at the intersection of Coldwater Canyon and Sherman Way in North Hollywood had come a long way and was still a viable place for affordable healthier fast food at any time of day. The food quality was decent and filled your belly, but just don’t expect much more(please add more veggies and less rice). With two properties in the area and always coupons in my bag, this was another option for cheap eats. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above(total bill was around $ 14.00BEFORE discount; no tip required). Although they accepted credit cards, not mine of choice… AMEX! 4.0STARS

Tried there New steak bowl nothing special about it! Bought a chicken and beef bowl too but everything was taste less. I don’t think I’ll be going there again. Too pricy for the qualty of the food not to mention the customer service! They really need to improve there food and there staffing. Don’t recommend it to no one. Across the street is Waba grill the food taste fresh and tasty highly recommend it.

Not sure what happened, but customer service tanked! Use to be regulars until a cashier started giving us attitude for no apparent reason. Usually find the employees getting high and drinking in the parking lot. Great job guys!

My husband and I walked in tonight to get some food because we were both hungry. We were greeted from like 5 yards away and asked«what do you guys want»? First off you need to have professionalism 100% even around closing time. We asked for two chicken bowls«SPICY»… She also assumed we wanted to take it home … Ok so we get our order and she says only ones spicy and she yelled in the back to get a side order of the spice if I wanted a side order I would ask for it but I didn’t. I didn’t like her attitude and we left…

I was every displeased with this establishment. First time ever going to this restaurant not so displeased with the food although it wasn’t that great but it is fast food so what you expect. I was more displeased/disgusted with the staff. There was one staff member that was very very nice name is Jesse working at the front but his coworker who was a female was extremely rude and rolled her eyes at me repetitively not sure why. Right in front of my roommate and I they gave a customer a bag of food and the customer left the with the bag of food. After the customer left the building the two workers said oh shoot we given the wrong food and took off running out of the building after the man. That made sense to me. If you give someone the wrong food it would be best for you to quickly try to catch them before they leave to give them their proper food so you don’t have an unhappy customer. That was not a problem with me, I thought that was very good. The problem with me was that I watch them take the food that they already gave the man out of the bag and sit it on the counter. After is sitting there for a few minutes They rebadged it and then give it to my roommate and I. instead of remaking our food for us they gave us food that they already gave to another customer. I understand it was still in the bag but regardless that was disgusting. That man could have touched it or picked at it. So after getting somebody else’s food and attitude from the girl that was working at the front I think I would never go to this restaurant again.

This is my first time trying Yoshinoya cuz I was desperate to try something new. I ordered the beef bowl – the quality of the meat and the flavor are so bad that I took one bite and tossed the whole thing in the trash. NEVERAGAIN. How the hell does this chain survive is beyond me.

I haven’t been to a Yoshinoya in over 20 years, and when I took my first bite yesterday, I remembered why. I will give Yoshinoya this: the food is VERY consistent. It tasted the same after 20+ years. Nothing has changed — from the low prices, to bad quality meat, to the gelatinous teriyaki sauce. I only came along because I was at a work training and my co-worker took us here for a quick bite for lunch. I didn’t know what to get, so my co-worker recommended the infamous combo that comes with chicken teriyaki, beef something, and vegetables over rice. I couldn’t eat the beef at all — every piece was laden with fat and googliness. My friend said it tasted great and couldn’t understand why I was so disgusted. For people who think this is Japanese food… please, NO, it is NOT. The Japanese would never eat here, let alone recognize this food as being Japanese. Since I hadn’t brought any food from home, I was pretty much stuck with this mess. I ate some of the steamed rice, the veggies, and the chicken after first having pulled off the skin. I felt sick for hours afterward. The 1 star is for the miserable food alone. Service was nice and the restaurant was relatively clean. I’m pretty sure this was my last visit to any Yoshinoya… for at least another 20 years.
