CES (Consumer Electronics Show) hired RPMS to shuttle guests to and from Hotels on the Strip. with over 150,000 attendees and thousands of exhibitors, it’s bound to be a handful. We’ve all dealt with difficult people in our lives and working for RPMS with all these people trying to get home at he same time, I can understand you may run into a a few difficult people. I’ve seen fist fights, verbal fights, all sorts of fights break out because someone cut the line or bumped someone the wrong way.
Prior years the lines were incredibly long, like 1.5 hrs wait to get to the bus. This year, it was much much better. maximum wait time maybe, if even, 30 minutes. I was really impressed with RPMS’ service. Two years ago they found a camera I left on a bus.
This year, last day of the Show, it is Freezing out! We get on line #9 to the Wynn. The gate is poorly labeled so we walk over to #10 for direction on where to stand. The man (Hunter Shaffer) points in a direction and we walk over, its about 5 of us now. There is currently a bus at #10, it leaves.
10 min later another bus arrives at #10 but this one is labeled #9. YES! It’s here! We head over and the man shakes his head rudely at us and waves us away. I walk over to ask why we cannot get on. The #10 bus JUST left. There’s only 1 or 2 people waiting whereas our line has 8+ now. He says its a #10 bus. I say it says #9 on it. He says «no, its a 10». I ask if the bus was labeled wrong, he says yes and turns his back to me.
Another #9 eventually arrives… at #10 AGAIN! This time the #9 line of people beelines it over and bum rushes onto the bus before anyone can stop us. We’ve been waiting a long time in the cold!
Poorly managed. Hunter should have explained to us why Line #10 had a #10, #9 and yet ANOTHER #9 bus come and we had none, instead of giving us attitude. He was rude and condescending and requires customer satisfaction training.
