Deer Springs Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics

I’ve been coming here for the past 1.5 years. About 8 months ago, I decided to finally get my crown done after extreme pain started occurring from a cavity. This facility made me feel so comfortable even though I was super nervous about it and wanted to prolong the date even further.
So now I’m back again just to get a regular check up and cleaning. My original dentist, Dr. Ebrahimi, is no longer here so I was a little scared about having a new dentist. But I trust this place so I made the appointment anyhow. I now have Dr. Tran and he is amazing. So friendly, passionate about his job, and really cares for his patients. Emily, my dental assistant, was also amazing. She performed my x-​rays and assisted Dr. Tran during the cleaning.
I feel so confident knowing the health of my teeth are being taken care of by them. Thank you guys for phenomenal dentist appointment. I LOVE THE DENTIST!!!

Great staff… friendly inviting and super informative! Started going here due to a cracked filling where they also discovered 2 fractured molars in which I scheduled to have done at a later date. When I came back it was like the red carpet was out. The scooped up for an expected grueling 4 hour procedure in which I was only actually there for 2 ½hr visit. They let me know what was happening during every step of the process. Can’t ask for much more than that. Oh and did I mention my teeth look and feel better than they where before! Highly recommend this dentist office!

My initial visit was for X-​Rays only, 2^nd was for a quick cleaning & a very brief & incomplete consultation as she was rushed get to another patient. Dentist Cleland told me to return to my previous dentist to have some «loose ends» taken care of because she didn’t like their work. I was provided with a copy of X-​rays and sent on my way. She also said to follow up with their Orthodontist, Dr. Backstrom, which I did. He checked out my teeth & gave me a quote to think on as they are very expensive. I was concerned that they offer no Nickel-​free wire, as it is an allergen, but was willing to go ahead with it anyway to finally get my front teeth perfect looking. I went back today for a 3^rd appointment with Dentist Lee to get some loose ended questions answered that just didn’t make sense from the first consult, such as why they told me I still had metal in my mouth after going to a specialist to have it all removed. He said it was an error in the X-​ray readings. He then basically informed me their office would NOT be seeing me as a patient, again advised me to return to an old dentist which I haven’t seen in 2 years, oh — AND THEN tells me Orthodontist Backstrom, DDS, would no longer see me as patient either.
The worst part is that I am not only wheelchair bound & handicap, but that I live quite a distance from here. Having paralyzed legs is hard enough, but if they were just going to make me come in to tell me not to come back then why wouldn’t they have just spared me all the hassle for something that would have taken 2 minutes by phone? SHAME ON YOU, Deer Springs Modern Dental!!!
Oh, and one even better, my husband and I came into the original appointments together. They not only provided me with my dental X-​rays upon leaving today, but with his too! I guess we are both being banished??? All because I won’t go back to a dentist I left 2 years ago because I didn’t like his work? Who does that — tells you to go back to an old dentist you left previously — ridiculous! OR, is it just because they don’t want to deal with someone in a wheelchair?
I don’t believe they appreciated the review as I have already received «comments» from someone from their office about my review. On the plus side, I found an absolutely amazing dentist with an office just a short distance away whom I never would have found otherwise.

Hands down the best dental experience I have ever had in my life! Dr Lee and his staff are sincere and caring. After a while you just feel apart of the group. They are an awesome team from the front of the office to the back. They don’t make you feel like a number but rather a valued patient. Honestly I wish general Dr’s in Las Vegas would adopt the same environment for their patients because Deer Springs Dental has mastered what’s called the «Customer/​Patient Experience» no matter where I live in Vegas this is where we will always go for dental treatment.

Amazing office! Professional, knowledgeable and skilled group of people. The office is really nice, clean, cutting edge technology so they can easily complete services in just one visit. My favorite dental office.

This place blew me away. When they say modern they mean modern. Probing cameras in your mouth modern. Staff is super nice. The place is surprisingly big and clean. They were not pushy. Prices we awesome. Recommend to all my friends.

I would recommend this dental office to anyone. I had a very difficult procedure performed and everyone was great. They were professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and constantly caring.

Most painful cleaning I have ever had. I have not bled during a cleaning in several years. I also told the tech and the dentist that my jaw had previously been broken a few years ago. I give this information to all dentists to inform them that I cannot hold my mouth open for long periods of time. The dentist came back with «well I cannot prescribe you painkillers, you need to go somewhere else for that.»

I’ve had horrible experience in the past with dentists but the office was amazing. I have severe anxiety even going to a dental appointment. They put me at ease and did everything to keep me calm and informed. I would recommend this office to everyone.

Since we moved to Las Vegas, we have been searching for a good dental provider & by golly, we have found one! The overall service, comfort level, atmosphere, congeniality, affordability (w/​our insurance, of course), machines, staff, etc is topnotch. Props to Karen, Chris, Aaron, Claudia, & Doc Ebrahimi for their thoroughness and efficiency. They went the extra mile to straighten out my daughter’s crookedly-​installed crown (from a previous dentist) & it made all the difference in the world! I loved how they explain everything-​costings, projections, coverage, benefits, etc. Thank you DSMDO, we’re happy to get our dental needs care for by you guys!

I went here yesterday to get a tooth pulled but, Dr Ebrahimi told me that he could save my tooth. I was very greatful. I also had a deep cleaning done. The staff is very friendly, the office is nice and clean. I will definitely be back for my next cleaning.

I had an appt here about a year ago… it was ok. I needed to have a periodontal work done and they were able to get it done that same visit. I wish I would’ve waited because after the numbing (about 10 places in my mouth), and the cleaning, I went to work with my mouth in excruciating pain, blood dripping everywhere and my face looking like I just went a couple of rounds in a boxing ring. the following week I took my 2 yr old to get seen. She was very hesitant in getting in the chair to take x-​rays and instead of trying to comfort her they told me to just bring her back when she’s ready… needless to say when they called me to make a follow up, I told them my daughter was welcome elsewhere…

Sort of one of those moments where it feels like a robbery but you’re not sure. Simple set of x-​rays and less than 5 minutes with a very impersonable doctor resulted in around $ 1000 billed to my insurance, with about $ 150 for me to pay. It also resulted in an estimate of nearly $ 8000 in dental care that I had second and third opinions, both of which indicated they could see no clinical indicator of the need. Places like this give good dentists a bad name and are bad examples of modern dental care. I am happy to have enjoyed good dental health and care elsewhere. This place saw me coming (with very generous insurance), I am glad I got out before it went to far. Absolute worst in class.

My husband and I came to this dental office after not having dental cleaning for almost two years. My husband and I in need of a deep cleaning and myself in need of bridge/​crown replacement. After having a very bad experience with my numbing wearing off mid treatment and them continuing to drill with my last dental place I was very worried. Dr. Ebrahimi and his staff were very nice. Even checking on me every few minutes during my procedure and allowing me to wear my headphones to drown out the drilling noise. When the numbing started to wear off he immediately took precaution.
They were very upfront with what my insurance covered and what my out of pocket expense would be and even offered secondary options. Front desk reception was very nice and there was never more than a 5 – 6 min wait. Even more, when my kids were bouncing off the walls in the waiting room not once did they talk bad or even snicker about how loud they were. Thanks!

GREAT! This place is awesome gorgeous office, advance technology, open Saturdays, staff is great and of course Dr. Lee is so nice. My husband has serious anxiety issues when it comes to the dentist and it took me like 6 month to get him to actually go to the dentist. Everything was so slowly explained to him and not pushed into anything he was not comfortable with that he actually scheduled his procedure and I didn’t even have to drag him there. Now he is the one asking me when he is he going back to finish up his other work. I sent my roommate and myself to get wisdom teeth removed and all 3 of us are still very happy with the service.

If you don’t choose this dentist then you are making a huge mistake. This doctor loves his job, patients and staff. Been in Vegas for 15 years and bounced around from dentist office to dentist office… well this is the last stop. Professional and caring is too simple to describe my first experience today.
I feel fortunate to be in capable and experienced hands!!!

Friendly staff and i can not emphasized it more that I am a chicken when it comes to going to the dentist, but with Deer spring you can rest assured that you are in good hands. I admit I was scared, and with the pleasant personality of Dr. Lee and Cynthia my nerves did calm down. Deer Spring is a clean, new with modern technology so getting a crown is absolutely a breeze and can be done in one appointment. I have been here twice now and they will work with you as far as your insurance coverage go, everything will be explained to you with no pressure whatsoever.
And I absolutely recommend to anybody I know.

I called Deer Springs thanks to a Unilocal search after I swallowed a good chunk of my molar during lunch the other day. Today was my appointment and of course I was a trembling mess of nerves as I walked in.
The office is immaculate, and also paperless. The women at the desk greet you with a smile that’s more like a hug than anything. Karen really helped to ease my nerves. The doctor likes to get to know his patients a bit before sticking his hands in your mouth — which I truly appreciated. Courtney took approximately 647 832 x-​rays and it was really cool that they took every angle that someone can think of — all for the purpose of really being able to diagnose and also show you transformation.
Turns out I need a ton of work, but I knew that going in, because I was without a dentist for 15 years (11 of which I had a tongue ring that destroyed everything I had). They gave me some really fantastic options, walked me though each and every one and really made me feel comfortable about it all. The doctor wants to do as little invasively as possible, which tells me that he’s in it for your best interest, not for what’s best for his wallet.
Courtney gave me a thorough cleaning with a fluoride treatment at the end that she said will help to strengthen and repair my teeth; however, it tastes absolutely horrible. Haha. She never said it was going to taste good. :)
Overall, I’ve been happy thus far with my choice, I’ll let you know once the heavy lifting has been done: D
