I don’t know why everyone is hating on this babies-r-us? I don’t have any kids but a few of my friends have popped some out, so I have ended up here. Ladies are always friendly and smiling. I wish the registry they print up for you, would be in color. The black and white pictures kinda look like blobs. But it’s nicely organized and easy to find everything. I’m always in and out. Some of the prices kinda are high. I can find a lot of things cheaper at other stores. But overall I have never had any problems.

I think they’ve up-ed their registry game recently. My best friend is preggers and put her little wishlist together for us at Babies R Us. Now – normally I’d rather shop locally, but I’m not going to argue with a hormonal lady’s list of wants, thinking I know better than her. With that said, I jumped online, studied her registry and pre-ordered everything I wanted to be ready at the store for pick-up. I got an email, checked in through the link on the email when I got to the store and while I was waiting in line, a gentleman came up to me with my bag of items all ready to go. It was paid for already, so all I had to do was pick out my wrapping items and checkout. Very efficent! I birthed any children yet, so that’s just my take. Simple, efficient, very big-box-y, but they had enough items for my very picky friend!

This megastore is pleasant. I thought the Kids R Us down the street was the Babies R Us. When I walked into Kids, I thought«hello, third world country.» Seriously, I felt like I should be padded down for weapons and be ready to present my food ration card at the customer service desk that faced the entrance; this place looks like a war zone. I was excited when I realized I was in the wrong store. The real Babies R Us was very pleasant to shop. I found the registry easy to follow and I could navigate the pastel aisles without fear for my personal safety, or fear someone would club me for my supply of toilet paper I had to wait 12 hours in line for.

Not the worst Babies R Us in the world, which I guess is saying something because usually, Babies R Uses are pretty bad. It’s smaller than the one on SOM Center Road, because it’s not attached to a Toys R Us(thank god). They do still have a pretty nice selection of toys for babies and young kids though. I didn’t have an awful time here.
