Great little sushi place with something for everyone. Staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is beautifully presented as well as delicious. The décor is warm and elegant. There is a bar with a tv, but it doesn’t overwhelm the place. The music playing is very relaxing. We will be returning here, I’m sure.

Came for Happy Hour. Its cool they offer one on a Friday. For a smaller location, the happy hour menu is legit. No smoking, which is a big plus! My sister is only into shrimp when is comes to seafood and the waitstaff was very accommodating. Water is servedserved with lime, which is a pleasant surprise. Appetizers were served before the meal, which was great! Most places I’ve gone to Happy Hour serve everything all at once. Miso soup is heavy on the chives and light in the tofu. House salad dressing automatically came on the side. Ahi Tower had a kick to it. One of the more spicy Ahi Towers I’ve had. A fruit fly fell in my wine, there was no issue replacing my wine. Overall a very lovely place!

Just had an awesome meal here. Started with some sashimi and both the yellow tail and the eel were amazing. We sampled some nigiri before asking our chef to surprise us. He did not disappoint. Especially high marks for the peppered tuna and the seared white tuna. Would make this place my go to for sushi in the area

Food: Good sushi, I believe it was a little overprice for the amount of food given. we ordered the tower and a roll of sushi and the tower was quite disappointing… We were expecting more Tuna but overall the flavor was okay… We ordered also tuna sashimi and the tuna was frozen on the middle which was a bummer because they had told us it was supper fresh… So we wondered what they meant by fresh. Service: it was okay, staff was friendly Environment: seemed clean and quiet which is good Overall experience: it was good but most likely will not come back

Amazing sushi, amazing service! We stumbled upon this place by chance and have been coming back ever since. They have a great variety of rolls and all of the fish is top notch. Compared to a place like blue sushi or sushi axiom this has equivalent food with a much quieter calmer atmosphere.

I make it a point to try every sushi joint I can. I eat phở and Korean food along with Japanese cuisine all the time. This place is some of the BESTSUSHI and overall asian fusion I have ever had. I wish I could give this place 10 stars but Unilocal only goes up to 5. Must try!!!

This is my husband’s and my favorite restaurant, hands down. We go here every time we are in a sushi mood. Sometimes we bring the kids. We have tried several other places but they never live up to Nikko’s. My favorite is the rainbow roll and the ahi tuna, and my husband likes the eel and the spicy tuna, and we both enjoy edemame and miso soup. The owner and chef are friendly and attentive, and the dishes are consistently well prepared and delicious. We like to sit right at the bar and see everything made fresh. Great atmosphere, romantic and peaceful, but also appropriate for family outings and groups. Weekdays offer a wonderful lunch buffet with much variety and a reasonable price. The fried ice cream is so yummy. I highly recommend!

Chad’s eSCAPE review. Service.(+). Stopped in with a coworker and was waited on immediately. The place was pretty quiet so we got extra attention. The waitress was fast, prompt and friendly. The owner/chef took time to come talk to us and even offered samples. It was the best service I’ve received in quite sometime. My coworker(from out of state) was totally impressed as well. Cost.(+). For sushi it was average. We were there at «happy hour» so the sake and beer was very reasonable. Add in our free samples, it really was reasonable. Atmosphere(+). Well decorated with plenty of sushi bar, restaurant or standard bat seating choices. Place was well lit and comfortable for a romantic dinner, a quick lunch or a business meeting. Palate(+). Food was fresh, tasted wonderful and was well prepared. Each different plate/course had some interesting palate cleansing herbs /vegetables(in addition to pickled ginger) that made it a very«flavorable» experience. They had fresh red snapper available that was an awesome addition. Everything Else(+). Again I can’t say enough about the service. It was my first time here and I felt like a long time regular. After traveling all over the metroplex for business lunches and dinners I am proud to say that one of my hometown NRH spots nailed it! I’ll be back.

Best sushi I have ever had! Great service, awesome music, and amazing food. Make sure you try the Aggie Roll, regardless of if its your alma mater or not. It is the best sushi roll I have had since returning from Asia! Delicious!

Best sushi I’ve had in a while! I ordered the Monster Roll and was so happy that that’s what I chose! The waiter was super kind and made great suggestions for my spice buds and the sushi chef was very cordial, helpful, and gave me something new to try to clear my palette! Great afternoon sushi!

I have been numerous times, because I knew someone that was working there. I first must say that the food is not too bad here, It is the owners that really need a review. The male owner yells loudly at his employees in front of the customers, Berates the female waitresses and the sushi chef. In addition, it depends on their moods how attentive they are to the customer. I must say that the last time I went in, there was only 2 other couples inside. I waited very long times between seeing a waitress. They walked by my table numerous times, but actually just ignored me. I have never seen anything like this, The owners and their daughter would huddle up by the sushi counter and talk badly about the customers. This is a very small place and Hello, the customers can hear everything you say. I finished my roll and water, without ever having anyone come back to my table. I was going to order another roll or two, but after sitting there, watching the actions of the owners and how they treated their employees, I just wanted to leave. I waited another 20 minutes for my check and it wasn’t until I finally stood up and put my jacket on and turned towards the front door that the female owner yelled out. «You want your check? You must pay for food!» I was finally brought the bill. I will never go back!!!

I went there a couple days ago for dinner. I have actually been there a number of times for dinner, and it is always really good. I use tuna as my bellwether test for sushi places and the tuna they serve me always tastes incredibly fresh. I have not had a bad thing there yet. He even said that if I wanted him to he would make me katsudon which was a dish my grandfather and I would eat all the time. I would reccommend to anyone to check this place out.

I went there on Saturday and it wasn’t very busy but it took over 15 minutes to get service and when we ordered people coming in after us were getting their food. We waited over 45 minutes for our food and we only ordered sushi. This was the third time this has happened and i wanted to give them once last chance. I talked to the owner to see about getting a food comp or anything and she said no that I would have to pay for all my food even though I waited an hour. Needless to say I left and will never be going back. The least she could have done was comp my appetizer or something since we waited an hour and other people who came in after us got their sushi and food before us. She was rude and did not want that in any way she just wanted her money for all the rolls we ordered. I left and ate elsewhere, waited 5 minutes there for my sushi rolls. Worst place ever!

We went there last night with a group of friends around 6:30. We waited for over 30 minutes for our beers and about 40 minutes for the food. Service was horrible. The worse we have ever had. Wont be back!

My husband and I have been coming here for years now and it never disappoints. We always love the rolls and the wait staff is very attentive. John, the head chef is a master at his craft and is wonderful to have a conversation with if you sit at the sushi bar. My go-to for starters is the Waikiki Tuna Salad — something that is not to be missed if you love tuna! If you are looking for great sushi in the DFW metroplex, make sure you check out this tucked away gem!

We went there last night for my daughters birthday. It was terrible. The vegetables were partially cold on one dish and they completely forgot my wife’s teriyaki salmon. They were very apologetic and offered complimentary ice cream. We declined.

We’ve been coming here a few years now, the consistent quality and freshness hasn’t faltered. Now that the cold weather is coming in, I highly suggest the spicy seafood noodle soup.

I went to Sushi Nikko for the lunch buffet. For $ 12.50 it is a great value. Everything was fresh and tasted great. It’s my new favorite lunch spot. Note — the Lunch Buffet is only available on Wed-Fri.

Came here Friday. I was a little skeptical after one reviewer posted an hour before I went but I decided to go anyway because he barely made his account that day and that was his first review. Boy was he wrong. The service was good. They weren’t too busy but they did come by the table and ask if we needed anything. The servers filled up our drinks in a timely manner. They were even knowledgeable about the sushi. The food was overall pretty good and not too expensive. Once you start ordering the fancy sushi, that’s when the price goes to above $ 10 a roll. But the basics have good prices. The one thing I will say is that the lighting is too dark. It’s sort of a romantics setting but a tad too dark even for that. This was a good place try and I will definitely go back.

Well after a year of steering clear of this joint because of my aforementioned culinary disasters, it happy that my daughter starts a a Summer job waitressing here. I have dined at Sushi Nikko twice in the past month and enjoyed my meal(and, of course, the service) both times. They have an interesting variety of «off the beaten path» rolls along with some traditional Korean non-sushi dishes. Stop in and give them a go. Oh, and tell the Sushiman Chung I sent ya!

This hidden gem in NRH has pretty good sushi. The fried calamari app was nice and crisp with a pretty sweet and a little spicy sauce was a good combination. The kiss on the beach was pretty great but I expected it a little spicier. Pretty good attentive service. Sat in the patio but that might need some work, hopefully they get that up and running.

The sushi was fresh and delicious! I had this tuna salad appetizer? Which was really good! Couldn’t stop eating it. I also had two rolls which I forgot the name of but I think it was popular. They were both very delicious. The service was great and I had a really awesome drink made for me from their full bar. I will be back :)
