Transmission Super Star

My transmission went out on me a few months back. I have a 2004 Passat 4 motion and the transmission on that thing is a beast to replace! I called around everywhere and this place was the lowest quote I could find. Just because they were the lowest did not mean that they do not do superior quality work. It has been 6 months since my new transmission has been replaced and it works flawlessly! These guys were easy to work with, got me in fast and had me back in my daily driver in no time! I rarely write reviews and only compelled to do so when the customer service and experience is absolutely exceptional & outstanding. Few companies actually care about their clients or customers. Transmission Super Start is one of those few companies who I put in the same category in customer service as Apple, who by FAR has the best user experience in the world. This means a lot to me! My experience has been with Oscar, who actually cares and listens, is attentive and always maintains great communication so that I don’t have to guess what’s going on. I hate guessing!
Transmission shops are notorious for lying, cheating, overcharging and stealing especially when you are the most vulnerable. — I’ve been to several shops throughout the years and TSS is the ONLY shop I’ve found that has the best price, is truthful with the repair costs and operates with integrity.
TSS is one of the few companies that I am happy to wholeheartedly recommend without any hesitation! I feel comfortable that my vehicle is in good hands with TSS.

7. Timely — TSS finished my work on time. One time they had a delay receiving rare parts but promptly informed me.
8. TSS has demonstrated that they are not happy until their client is completely satisfied.
I read the other review and it seems like TSS was friendly and repaired their vehicle but the car had other issues. Vehicles are machines and even though you may fix one thing that doesn’t mean something else can’t break later. From my experience, I can assure them that had they not been in UT, TSS would have completely taken care of the vehicle.

My inlaws used TSS while they were visiting from UT. Their transmission went out and no one could get them in except for them! Very friendly and helpful! The inlaws were only here for a long weekend but were promised it would be done Fri. No communications from TSS though come Fri. Called Sat to find out no one was there and didn’t seem to know they were working on anything. Answering service said they’d give us a call back. We waited 15 min and decided to just drive there. We finally got a call when we were almost there letting us know they were test driving it. When we pulled in 2 min later, it was still being worked on. They were very friendly and explained the lack of communication. Waited for them to test drive it. They knew it was going back to UT so told them to send the bill for the 10 day follow up to TSS and gave them a warranty. The inlaws had the exact issue with the tranny on the way home so took it right to a mechanic in UT. Turns out they didn’t replace an electrical piece. My inlaws spent 4 weeks calling and being told they would have a check or see a refund, but never saw it. Rarely got to talk to the owners about it. I finally went today and asked in person how we could resolve it. Once again, very friendly but acted like they weren’t fully aware of the situation. She ended up refunding the $ 340 to my credit card but it was a horrible experience! I would recommend them for their friendliness, but need to improve the phone communication and follow up.
