History

Established in 1991.

Business started in mammoth lakes. Moved to Northridge in 1998. Plumbing background consists of new construction, remodels, service and repair, hydronic heating, commercial and resdential water heating, copper or pex repiping, gas pipe repairs and installations, sewer and drain cleaning, hydro jetting, pipe locating, sewer camera inspections, sewer repairs and replacement. Water pressure repairs/​water pressure regulators replaced and adjusted.

Started in the Plumbing trade in 1984, worked for Slat’z Plumbing in Mammoth Lakes Ca for 7 years. Majority of work at Slat’z Plumbing was new construction installations. Obtained California C– 36 contractor license in 1991. Continued new construction plumbing installations along with service and repair. Currently living in the san fernado valley and continue to operate Roberts Plumbing Hydro jet & Rooter.

Robert is a great guy that patiently listens to your plumbing needs before giving his diagnosis. We needed a new water pressure regulator and a new pressure release valve for our tankless water heater after it sprung a small leak (luckily the leak was routed outside our house and garage). He quoted us a really reasonable price. Robert’s work was very neat, professional and quick! There is absolutely nothing else you could ask for in a plumber! As an added bonus, Robert was very courteous to our neighbors as his work truck made it a tight fit to maneuver vehicles around the truck. We live in a gated community in Porter Ranch that shares a driveway with five other garage doors. Robert would either friendly guide my neighbors cars or move his truck without skipping a beat. Just a truly good guy all around.

My concrete guy found Robert after we discovered a drainage issue. I called out one of the chain companies — waste of time and money. Since time was of the essence, Robert fit me in right away. I used Robert’s Plumbing about a year ago to snake my drain and locate the direction my pipes are going (I have a slab foundation) He came to my house and was friendly & professional. His prices are very reasonable!!!
Today, we called him, after my friend called several other plumbers, because my best friend has a main line breakage and we couldn’t find the pipes. Again he came out and went above and beyond what was needed. Not to mention he was $ 125.00 less than the quotes my friend got.
I will definitely continue to recommend his service to everyone I know in the 818 area!!!

I called a few places earlier in the day to clean a main sewer clog at my house in northridge. Nobody seemed personal or available. Called Robert and had him at my house literally 10 minutes later… after an extensive explanation of my options and what he thought everything would cost, we chose to use the snake option, which was priced well under what other guys quoted me. Solved the problem in under 30 minutes. Pretty damn nice guy and was very knowledgeable and personal about his job. Definitely going to go with this dude next time I have a plumbing issue later… was easy to deal with and problem solved.

We called Robert in a panic late afternoon on New Years evening. The waterheater was leaking and the garage was soaked. He came right over and worked a plan to fix the problem that minimized our time without hot water and the cost. He showed up on time, fixed the problem, cleaned up spotlessly, and no surprises on the bill. The guy is also a dog lover!

Outstanding Work, we had some issues arise a couple of times and I called Robert’s Plumbing and he was always on time and fixed the all the issues (sinks, toilet, and shower). He even did some exterior work and mounted a fixture so we could easily «clean the pipes» next time. He cleaned everything up so we didn’t even know he was there.
Plus, he had very fair prices and above average service. We all know how important it is to have things «flowing» and he returned everything back to smooth flowing in no time.
I recommend Robert’s Plumbing to anyone who wants their issues fixed quickly and at a fair price.
