Soundz Good Custom… you have redeemed yourselves! So I originally started taking all of my personal vehicles to this place for stereo, tint & lights in ²⁰¹³⁄₂₀₁₄ and received top notch service every time. But then I had a little bit of a service issue with some random employee at the beginning of this year — 2016 (who I’ve never seen again). I wrote a scathing review about that experience at the time, and to my surprise was quickly contacted by the manager to try to mend the situation, but I declined. This week however I decided to give them another shot. Let’s be real. I went to many other places that charged me way less, but with that lower price tag also came very subpar installs and customer service…
So here’s the update: I’M STOKED I WENT BACK! This time I had the pleasure of dealing with Rick (you’ll spot him always reppin’ his Dodgers with his blue cap) and I have to say that this guy offers nothing but THE BEST service without the sales pressure or hassle you usually get. When I decided to go back this week, I gave in and upgraded my old HIDs to bright new LEDs since the last place that did the HID install could not get both of my lights to consistently turn on together AND their lazy asses fully removed my high beams. WTH?! Anyway, back to Soundz Good… I was so impressed by the professional install and the quick turnaround time on the LED headlight install that I decided to also go ahead and upgrade my old Code Alarm to a Viper Model 5706 alarm with two-​way pager AND remote auto start. ALSO added new 18″ tires/​rims. Pretty good little package for my 2012 Nissan Sentra right? I thought I was done. But after thinking about it more and still feeling impressed with the great service from Rick, I called him from the carwash that same day and told him I was thinking about upgrading my stereo as well. He was leaving work in about 30 minutes, but still waited for me to come back to the shop where he proceeded to patiently explain what I would need and put together an in-​dash Pioneer 4200NEX touch screen stereo package with four JL Audio C2 speakers, 5 channel Kenwood [X801−5] amp with a 12″ JL Audio W0v3 subwoofer in box enclosure and a waterproof backup camera with night vision. Oh did I say that he also re-​tinted my rear window that was starting to show some wear and blacked out my two front windows to 5% per my request to match all the rear windows…
So all in all, I have to give this place ⁵⁄₅ stars again and continue to recommend this shop to everyone looking for nice, clean, professional, quality installs. I not only speak about the sales staff but the installers as well. After the install today of my stereo, I noticed that everything from my bin had been taken out for the installation and left in the cupholders. Man, these guys left cash down to the pennies in my cupholder as well as all my other odds and ends. That just goes to show how trustworthy they are. Not a single thing missing from my vehicle.

This place was awesome! Great customer service friendly staff. I got my Windows tinted her and they did an amazing job I’m very satisfied. I highly recommend this place. Awesome tint job for a reasonable price! I never go anywhere witout looking at the reviews so when I found this place and they had great reviews I was very excited I rather pay more for a good job the 1^st time then pay less for a crappy job.

This place is top notch! Location Location Location. It’s one thing to have a good location it’s another thing to have a good location, great service and high quality merchandise. I got my window tint done here.
You can see the high quality of the film that was used. I highly recommend this spot if you wanna get it done right the first time. Other places might have lower prices but there film won’t hold up in time. Instead of saving a difference of 20 to 30 bucks. You will be spending more in the long run.
I recommend getting it done by pro’s the first time. Price is reasonable especially for what your gonna get. Like the saying goes, «You get what you pay for».

They suck, I brought my husband’s truck to get speakers installed and they did a shity job they Sauter a piece to the fuse box which ended up burning the whole entire fuse box, I had to replace the box at the dealer which cist me about $ 950and come to find out it was from the instalation they did at Soundz Good in Downey which the dealer wrote on the diagnosis. I called the Better Business Bureau to put in a complain and as they were investigating they found out that Soundz Good didn’t even have a registered licence. It all comes down to really poor service. Don’t go there, THEY SUCK! !!!

These guys are the best. They got ny 91 gti ready for music and a perfect viper security system setup with a automatic locking and unclocking sytstem. Without them i wouldnt be abke to keep my baby safe and enjoy cruising with music.

Thanks so much for beyond excellent service and speed of work done! Walked in looking for a car stereo, and not more than 2 hours later I got not only a sweet stereo but also the guys fixed my doors with new locks! Thanks guys! Seriously! Will use again and again!

Went back to Soundz Good Custom to have my new subwoofer/​amp installed. As usual the service was fast, and friendly! David and Rick always make this my first stop for anything Audio related for my car. Definitely would recommend to friends!

These guys are awesome! They’re helpful, and their prices are very reasonable. I’ve been here a couple times now to have a stereo removed and installed. Service is fast. I trust these guys, and I’ll definitely be bringing my car in for window tint and rims I highly recommend!

Wednesday at lunch my boyfriend called to get a quote for my ’15 Honda Civic, the gentleman was really nice to him, answered all our questions and told us to come in and set up an appointment for tomorrow. We showed up in the afternoon and were greeted by Luis II, he gave us a great price with lifetime warranty. I went in, paid and set up my appointment for today at 9 AM. He made sure to explain to me what my choices were and was a great help.

Well I’ve been coming here for about 3 years give or take… and I’m not much of a reviewer but I like to give credit where it’s due! I have brought 3 of my personal cars here and gotten lights and tint on all three without any issues whatsoever! I got a nice system installed in our Silverado and an LED Bar installed. And even with small issues that arose (our LED being stolen) Rick was always amazing at being able to help us out! We’re so happy with this shop that we would never take our cars to any other place! They treat you as if you were family and are fast and professional. I’ve referred my family to them and they’ve never had a complaint. And would refer anyone else here without a doubt! 5 stars is what I’ve given them and if I could I would add 5 more…

Best shop for all your custom needs hands down.
I brought in my 57′ BelAir to get a stereo system. The manager Henry was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I wanted. We went with a Pioneer /​Rockford Fosgate system. I wanted to have 2016 technology in a 1957 car everything had to be stealth and everything had to be clean and neat. Henry then introduced me to the tech Carlos which is very experienced by the way we went over my project. He recommended I drop off my car first thing in the morning which I did the next day picked it up before closing time and WOW am i satisfied with the outcome sounds and looks great. Thank you so much Carlos and the rest of the Soundz Good team.

Always take my car down for whatever I need. Rims, tint, sounds they have it all an also do a good job never had a problem

This place was a little iffy to me because of the location but soon to find out that I was about to get the surprise of my life when I got the rims and window tints on my 2000 325i and it came out super sick man! Loved the rims and tires everything look just like the picture if not better. I was told that I was gonna get my rims 3days after they were ordered and to my surprise they arrived the next day super great spot and pretty helpful. I whould recommend this place to anyone who wants to get anything done good prices and great product no aftermarket cheap stuff. FIVE STARS!!! After doing some research through Unilocal and other sites, I decided to go through Soundz Good Customz for my car audio, hd lighting and car alarm needs for my 2015 Kia Optima. I’ve been a customer for a year now and I must say, they’re great. I’ve only dealt with two people since I’ve been going, one guy by the name of Henry and another Rick. They’re both knowledgeable about the business and know how to provide excellent customer service. Although I have zero complaints about Henry, this review is more for RICK…
From the first day I walked into the shop, Rick has been my go to guy. I don’t know if it’s because he’s the first one I met but that doesn’t matter anymore. RICK is the most patient, knowledgeable guy there (my opinion). He first listens to what the customer wants and then after listening, he begins to give options on all the things that can be done. One of the many things I like about RICK is that he doesn’t try to make customers get things they don’t need. He doesn’t like customers to spend money they don’t need to spend. Trust me, this is quality customer service because we’ve all been to that guy who will just try to take your money.
Another thing I like about RICK and the shop is that they’re open when they say they’re gonna be open. They’re not pulling up 20mins later after they’ve already supposed to been open. When you make an appointment, RICK follows through and ensures that he is punctual and every detail is covered.
I’ve also recommended RICK to other friends who have now changed their go to person to RICK because of his A1 service.
With the quality service, support and satisfaction, i will never go anywhere else when I’m in need of some equipment. Shout out to RICK at Soundz Good Customz!!!

I wish this place lived up to the hype. I came to this place to get a bluetooth player for my car. I asked around, and this was the only one open on a sunday and the price was fair. I wanted to keep the steering wheel controls so I paid extra. They said they had all the parts they needed so I left my car with them and stayed in the lounge. When they were done, the bluetooth connected seamlessly, but the controls were a dud. They made me come back the next day because they knew what part to get. I came back two days later and they tried again for two hours to get it done. Nothing again. The guys apologized and said they’d give me a call once they had the parts. They called again last week and said the part was ready. I went today to no avail. This time the mechanic spoke to me and showed me the part in my car we needed.
So two days after I made this review, I got a call from the guys and they said they had the part. They apologized profusely and said they were 100% it would work. It did not. Finally, they told me that they’d let me borrow an external control for my steering wheel while they try to figure out what’s wrong with my radio. They also said they were 100% sure that would work. Nope. Even THAT was a 100% bust.
Have you ever teased a dog with a bone only to throw it in the trash? That’s how I felt. I am severely disappointed in all the hours I wasted here. I even came after working a 13 hr shift twice. Thanks for my radio system guys, I hope you didn’t sell me the system and the control only to find out the system is incompatible with all controls.

I came in to price window tint, at first I thought it was a little pricey but once the work was completed I was more than satisfied with the quality of the tint and the work.
The installation ran a bit longer than expected but the shop was happy to let me borrow a car to run a quick errand while they were finishing up my tint.
I am definitely satisfied with the whole transaction and would not only shop here again but recommend it to my friends and family!

This review is only for the window tinting. I was beyond dissatisfied with the tint on my previous car and wanted to find a much more reputable place. My friend told me he has brought a few of his cars here. I found this place and a voucher on Unilocal and was satisfied by what I read. Booked an appointment and wasn’t thrilled at first. I was quoted a higher price when I got to the shop than I was over the phone. I called my friend to come up there hoping they weren’t trying to get over since I am a female. My friend explained the different qualities of tint and suggested I get the thicker grade so it wouldn’t scratch or bubble. It came with a lifetime guarantee so I agreed to it. That was a year and a half ago. I held onto the receipt in case I had any problems with my tint and need to take my car back. I haven’t had any problems with my window tint yet.
