Decent prices, fairly good selections. Has the basics needed. The staff is super friendly and always smiling, which is refreshing. Sales aren’t always great but usually have great everyday deals.

This is consistently one of the best, local grocery stores for me. Really. If I’m lazy(which is not often, but sometimes) and don’t want to keep driving on 1A, I can stop here instead of Super Stop&Shop in Walpole(which is better, but a bit farther down the road, 2 – 3 minutes). Anyway, the store are regularly friendly and normally the front end is run by 17 – 19 year old kids, who are surprisingly friendly and not on their cell phones or talking to the others, which is good, and impressive. The selection in the bakery, deli, and produce, has everything and more than other spots which makes this a go-to, as well as veyr competitive prices, that are sometimes less than Stop&Shop. Overall, a good place to grocery shop in Norwood. Much better than the Norwood Stop&Shop, but the Walpole Stop&Shop is better if you aren’t lazy!

Great prices, good selection. Only complaint would be be slim pickings in the meat department. Cashiers always friendly.

It’s in southern Norwood so, take it with a grain of salt. Honestly, for a recent grad barely scraping by with a nearby apartment, i will tell you: best prices I’ve seen in the area, period. They might not have a huge selection or an organic section bigger than a few isles, but their prices are cheaper than Shaws and Stop N Shop for what is usually the same product. Cashiers have been nothing but friendly and talkative, and sure, the teenagers might be having conversations inbetween, but who cares? They’re kids. It’s nice to see that they actually appear to be enjoying themselves working there! Great location. Great prices on everything. Nice employees.

Convenient since it is 2 minutes from my house, but they don’t always have the biggest selection of groceries. My only complaint is the abundance of teenagers working at the checkout lines. They seem to just socialize with each other(cashier with bagging clerk) instead of greeting customers. No, I don’t want to hear what you are doing after the party friday night. Just bag my damn groceries so I can get out of here.

Don’t be alarmed by the sketchy-looking parking lot when you are pulling in… this is a good grocery store. Of course, you’ll walk right into the bakery and deli area where the smell will just tempt you with bad-for-you stuff, but the joy in life is eating that stuff, right? As the previous poster mentioned, good prices, and I have found them to be about the same at S & S and lower than at the Shaw’s on Nahatan St. Ladies at the check-out line call everyone«honey» or «dear», which is sort of entertaining. Good pre-packed chef salad which has enough ham and turkey on it to fill a sandwich! Not the usual salad where they through two strips of meat and call it a «chef salad»!!
