Best gluten free bakery in Marin hands down. They also have a cute breakfast/lunch selection as well… which means I have to keep myself from going everyday.

Heaven is a place on Earth… and it is here. Wow, so dangerous to have a gluten free bakery in the same city as my workplace. There isn’t a day that goes by that I am not tempted to go to Flour Chylde. All the items I’ve tasted have been phenomenal. I’ve been on a weight loss mission, but I’ll be visiting this place soon. It’s too good to avoid! Gluten causes me a ton of joint pain, so I’m really grateful this bakery exists!

Review on: at the Mission Community Market in SF Bf and I got found Flour Chylde’s stand at 7:40pm, they were wrapping up. The market runs from 4−8pm. Our friend is preggers and loves their goodies. When I saw that FC would be in SF, we drove to the Mission street. Found street parking. I didn’t catch the employee’s name but he was so sweet. We bought a mini cupcake package for our friend and I bought their tuxedo cupcake for myself. The tuxedo was the best tasting gluten free anything I’ve ever had. I didn’t particularly like the center, I think cream cheese filling, please correct me if I’m wrong. But oh dang, that chocolate part is like chocolate heaven! May get a little messy. Let me finish your crumbs for you. I had the other half next morning… how could it possibly taste even better? I’ll reserve a weekly calorie deficit for you cuppies. See you all soon!

Stopped in for lunch and really enjoyed the veggie sandwich. It was so good I ordered one to go. I had a cookie, I don’t remember which one, it was good. I can’t see myself being a regular customer here because the staff wasn’t very warm.

Great little bakery, I normally am not a fan of gluten free, but MYGOODNESS these treats are moist, and very flavorful! The place is cute, the employees are all very friendly and helpful; even the customers all get in to the conversation about what to buy. Shop local, shop here!

I love this bakery so much, I wish they had one in Santa Rosa! I’m new to this bakery so I haven’t tried too much yet. So far I have tried one of the cupcakes(ammmmmmmaziing!!!) cream cheese bagel(also great! Little buttery to me but I still enjoyed it !) Highly recommend giving this place a shot. It’s wonderful to have gluten free options for celiacs like myself.

I’m giving than an extra star because their flourless chocolate cake is still the best. My son wanted this for his birthday cake so I called them as soon as they were open to reserve one to pick up later. I asked if they could add something on it for my sons birthday. The woman on the phone said«sorry we do not do that». When I stopped by later to pick up the cake I noticed there was a flourless chocolate cake in the display case with the words«Happy Birthday» stenciled in white powered sugar. I quickly switched it out for that one!

The seven layer bar at Flour Chylde is dangerously good. Flour Chylde’s seven layer bars are a culmination of their most popular moist tortes and topped with caramelized almonds. They’re magical. Each bite has a new blissful flavor and the texture of the bar is heavenly. I was planning on sitting down to enjoy their decadent dessert today — but it was just too good. I ate it while walking, the crumbs collecting on my turquoise scarf. For three bucks — you can manifest your own rich gluten free — seven layer bar. I dare you to take a bite and not finish it on the spot. Trust.

This GF bakery is to die for! Their fresh baked breads, muffins, tortes… everything is delicious! I love getting there early in the morning when everything is still warm. There are tables inside and outside and they serve coffee etc. I just wish they were open on Sundays but you can find them at the Marin Farmers Market then.

Gluten-free and so delicious. The vanilla bean cupcake is densely rich and delightful! I’ve been pleased with everything I’ve tried there.

They have a great variety of pastries and sandwiches. I wish they would use the slightly larger GF bread like the one I use at home but that’s ok because I asked if they could make the sandwich on a baguette and they did! Awesome!

Great food! This bakery is unfortunately undermined, but is very good and is in the heart of Novato. The chocolate cookies are my favorite and the sandwiches are yummy. Love the fact that this bakery offers quality Gluten Free options and is committed to GF. The employees are continuously and consistently very kind as well.

I should start with I am a cancer survivor and the Radioactive iodine treatment left me with no sense of taste… until I had the PUMPKINLOAF. I was extremely happy to finally taste something and it was so soft and fluffy and moist and heaven in my mouth. There are still some things I cannot taste, but you gotta try the pumpkin loaf. It’s taste amazing to me. I can only imagine what it would taste like for someone who has all of his or her sense of taste.

Hands down, the BESTGF bakery I’ve experienced. Prob a good thing I can’t get them anywhere but the Farmer’s Market. :) The Lemon Coconut cake is to die for and you’d never know the Pumpkin cake is GF. Everything they have is awesome and the staff are super nice! Love them!

I had a sandwich here which was ok, but the pumpkin loaf was pretty good for being dairy and gluten free.

I only get to buy from them when they’re at the Farmer’s market across my place and I always get the pumpkin loaf. It’s absolutely amazing and I truly appreciate the fact that it’s dairy free. Although, some of the other treats, like the chocolate– coconut torte, are a little too sweet.

I’ve only visited them when they’re at the San Carlos’ Farmer’s Market: Hot Harvest Nights on Thursdays. The gentleman that’s always assisting me is extremely helpful and friendly. You can tell he’s very passionate about their products. He’s lets you try many of the items and is more than happy to explain what everything is. Items I’ve tried: Little Black Dress: A combination of bittersweet chocolate, espresso, and Brandy Rustic Orange Torte: A moist orange cake with whole almonds and no wheat flour Lemon Coconut Torte: This cake combines the texture of coconut along with the intense flavor of a lemon bar Pumpkin Cake: Dense, moist pumpkin cake filled with vanilla frosting, plus dairy and gluten-free Chocolate Devil’s Food Cake: Dark Chocolate cake filled and covered with swirls of dark fudge icing Chocolate Bourbon Chocolate Peanut Butter My favorites are the Little Black Dress, the chocolate bourbon and the chocolate peanut butter. I typically stay away from gluten-free items because they’re either dry, tastes too powdery, or lacking in flavor. The little cakes & tortes here are none of that. Flavors are very strong and the cakes moist. I always have to get a Little Black dress at the very least when I go to the market but I usually get a seasonal item as well. Definitely must try!

This is a bakery that’s dedicated to gluten free products! Yea. Most are very good, some still need to go back to R & D. It’s great to have such a wonderful selection!

Was really unimpressed :( I don’t normally eat gluten free desserts but the carrot cupcake was pretty dry and tasteless. I’m also not a fan of brownies but it tasted better than the cupcake however it still wasn’t anything special. Both weren’t terrible tasting but I definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to pay the hefty price tag for mediocre tasting desserts. People seem to like their chocolate chip cookie so maybe I’ll try that next time they’re at my local farmers market.
